Abstract

Children Sexual Abuse Prevention Policy: An Input for Practitioners.Many literatures show that there are no differences of background in term of socioeconomic of victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse in family and community. It's also give information that victim of sexual abuse is categorized as a "silent disease" because of difficulty on obtaining epidemiological data and research on sexual abuse issue is still neglected. However, the literatures showed that sexual abuse causing heavy post-traumatic syndrome and generating problems of social pathology, psychology, emotional, bouncing, physical, and educational in the long term to all victims of in school environment, family, social relation, and participation in community. Therefore, it's a growing need to plan and develop a policy for training and workshop for teachers and social workers to increase their awareness of the possibility of sexual abuse in the school and environment.

Abstract

As the floodwaters, which inundated Jakarta early have caused sorrows to many Jakarta,including in Rawa Buaya, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, have give rise to suffering for many people, like spread throughout the street, made unfit daily activities, and also caused damage for things and forced many people to leaved out from their home. Impacts for this situation, especially for poor and the poorest families in rural area. Their home was broken and loss many materials. This research purposed to assessment and identifies the social aid for the survivor’s floodwaters. Based on the problems, the survivors need aid for recovery they life, like home, material, etc. Beside the material, they social need therapy for social-psychology to handle traumatic situation and to raise self confidence and spirit for alive.Key Words : floodwaters, survivors

Abstract

Sebuah Kerangka Kerja bagi Action Research dalam Pengembangan Komunitas dan Pendidikan Populer - This paper helps to elaborate about how researchers, teachers and educational advisors balance their different roles in participatory action research teams. Through explaining the Participatory Action Research (PAR) as a way of building bridges and making connections between people, this method of doing research depicted a process that seeks to develop a practical knowledge and understanding of social, political, environmental, or economical conditions. By using PAR on of research and development, we can recognize our social relationships and the value of our real experiences and personal thoughts and feelings. Moreover, PAR seeks to link the research process to the process of social change; it recognizes the change process as a researchable topic; it brings the research process full circle with people's interests in finding practical solutions for common problems and issues of concern by uniting action and reflection, theory and practice; it involves doing research to define a problem as well as applying the information in action towards solutions to identified problems; it is research conducted by, with and for people, rather than research on people; it is participatory in that it is a necessary condition that people play key roles in and have relevant information about the social system, or community, under study, and that they participate in the research design and implementation of action plans based on research outcomes.

Abstract

Studies of Social Problems Faced by Migrants in Urban Area.Resident current migration from rural to urban region in various Province in Indonesiaevery years tend to increas. This social phenomenon brings implecation at appearance various social problem in urban region. Referring to taht, Social Welfare & Healt research and Development Institution, Department Of Social Affair execute research abaut Migran's Social Problem in Urban. The result of research indicated that all migran in general live in solid residen area and inhabit land which its ilegal status like a slum area. Generally they face various social problem, for example : Poorness, The Aged, Unemployed, Dirty environment and housing. To overcome the migran natural problem, the Govenment and also Community had given services but it have still diffrent charakteristic and incidental treatmen, so that the program not inwroughtly and unsutainable yet.Kata Kunci : Migran, Social problem, Urban area

Abstract

Pemerintah Indonesia mengeluarkan kebijakan, bahwa korban penyalahgunaan napza tidak menjalani hukuman penjara, tetapi mereka wajib menjalani rehabilitasi medis maupun sosial.  Berkaitan dengan rehabilitasi sosial, keluarga merupakan  komponen sangat penting dan strategis, karena ikut menentukan proses pemulihan sosial, baik di lembaga rehabilitasi sosial atau ketika menjalani resosialisasi dan reintegrasi. Pada kenyataannya,  masih banyak keluarga yang tidak melaksanakan fungsi dan peranannya dengan baik, bahkan tidak menerima korban sebagai anggota keluarga. Situasi ini tentu  mempengaruhi proses pemulihan sosial bagi korban penyalahgunaan napza.  Berdasarkan alasan itu, maka artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan bagi keluarga, bahwa keluarga memiliki peranan sangat penting dan straegis dalam proses pemulihan sosial. Keluarga sebagai sumber informal diharapkan mampu melaksanaan peranan dalam bentuk pemberian dukungan sosial bagi korban penyalahgunaan napza. Informasi dalam artikel ini dihimpun dari data sekunder yang berkaitan dengan kondisi penyalahgunaan napza, keluarga sebagai sistem sumber, dan dukungan sosial. Pada artikel ini penulis menyampaikan strategi yang perlu ditempuh pemerintah, sehingga keluarga dapat memberikan dukungan sosial bagi korban penyalahgunaan napza.  Kata kunci: dukungan sosial keluarga, pemulihan sosial, penyalahgunaan napza.

Indigenous people is local social culture groups, separately and uninvolved in network and services in social, economic, or politic.
