Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran (Silabus, RPP, dan LKPD) yang valid dan praktis untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis (KKM) pada materi sistem koordinat kartesius kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implem entation, Evaluation). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar validasi silabus, RPP, LKPD, Soal Tes KKM dan lembar angket respon peserta didik. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriftif yaitu analisis kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Hasil pengolahan data diperoleh rata-rata validitas silabus 3,77 dengan kategori sangat valid, untuk RPP rata-rata 3,69 dengan kategori sangat valid, untuk LKPD rata-rata 3,71 dengan kategori sangat valid dan soal tes KKM rata-rata 3,64 dengan kategori sangat valid, serta hasil angket respon peserta didik diperoleh rata-rata persentase 85% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah valid dan praktis untuk memfasilitasi KKM peserta didik.  This study aims to stimulate valid and utility learning tools (Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Student Worksheets) to facilitate students in developing Mathematical Communication Skills (KKM) on the Cartesian coordinate system material for VIII grade of Pekanbaru Junior High School 2. This study is development research using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data is collected through the syllabus validation sheets, Lesson Plans, Student Worksheets, Mathematical Communication Skills (KKM) test questions and students response poll sheets. The research data is analyzed descriptively, i.e. the validity and kepraktisan analysis. The results of the data processing obtained and the average syllabus validity of 3.77 with an authentic category, for Lesson Plans an average of 3.69 with an authentic category and Student Worksheets an average of 3.71 with an authentic category and an average Mathematical Communication Skills (KKM) test question of 3.64 with an authentic category and the results of the student polls obtained a mediocre percentage of 85% with a pragmatic category. Based on this study, it can be inferred that the learning tools developed are valid and practical to facilitate Students’ Mathematical Communication Skill.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills are important for students to have, but these abilities are still low. One reason is that the teacher's teaching method is still dominated by lectures in the classroom. This study aims to improve students' mathematical communication skills through the development of learning tools using the outdoor learning method on sequences and series material. Validation sheets, observation sheets, student response questionnaires and learning achievement tests are the data collected for analysis. The results of the validity of lesson plans, worksheets, and THB each reached a value of 4.6; 4.7; and 4.6 out of a maximum value of 5, which means it is valid. The results of the practicality analysis of the device reach 92%, which means it is practical. From the trial results, there were 80% of students in the active category, and positive student responses reached 84%. The minimum completeness of the learning outcomes test was obtained by 85.29% of the students in the experimental class, while the control class only reached 52.94%. From the results of the t-test it is evident that learning on sequences and series material with learning devices using outdoor learning methods has a significant effect on improving students' mathematical communication skills. Keywords: Mathematical Communication, Sequences and Sequences Material, Outdoor Learning Methods, Learning Devices.

Abstract

Sekolah umumnya masih belum menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung pengembangan penguasaan terkait literasi matematika (numerasi). Penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Thiagarajan (4D). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari modul ajar, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), dan soal TKN dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran collaborative learning berbasis Lesson Study for Learning Community bernilai budaya suku using yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Materi pada LKS dan TKN yang dikembangkan mengambil konteks nilai budaya Using Banyuwangi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran, tes hasil belajar berupa kemampuan numerasi, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Lesson Study for Learning Community bernilai budaya suku Using memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Koefisien validitas untuk modul ajar, LKS, dan soal TKN berturut turut 4,83; 4,83; dan 4,85. Dari hasil observasi keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran, diketahui nilai kepraktisan dengan rerata 94,07% dengan kategori sangat baik. Nilai keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran menunjukkan kemampuan numerasi siswa tuntas secara klasikal sebesar 81%. Selain itu, respon siswa positif yaitu mendukung terhadap pembelajaran yang menggunakan konteks budaya Using pada LKS dan soal TKN.Schools generally still do not use learning tools, that can support mastery development, related to mathematical literacy (numeracy). The development research is conducting using the Thiagarajan development model (4D). The purpose of this study is to develop learning tools consist of teaching modules, Student Worksheets (LKS), and TKN using a collaborative learning model based on Lesson Study for Learning Community with valid, practical and effective with Using cultural. The material on the LKS and TKN takes the context of Using Banyuwangi’s cultural values. The data collection techniques used interview, observation of the implementation of learning tools, learning outcomes test in the form numeracy ability, and student response questionnaires. The result showed that the development of learning tool based Lesson Study for Learning Community with cultural values of the Using met the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective. The validity coefficients for teaching modules, LKS, and TKN are 4,83; 4,83; and 4,85. The value of practicality seen from the results of observations of the implementation of learning tools shows that 94,07% in the very good category. The value of the effectiveness of learning tools shows that students’ numeracy skill are classically complete by 81%. In addition, the student’s response was very positive, it means they are support learning that used Using cultural context in LKS and TKN.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan keefektifan modul turunan dilengkapi model cooperative learning. Pada sekolah menegah atas (SMA) ada materi yang sulit dipahami yaitu turunan. Rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi turunan diakibatkan, guru tidak memiliki modul. Fakta lain adalah peserta didik tidak menguasai definisi 71.42%, konsep 71.42%, prinsip 57.14% dan skill 42.85%. Rata-rata hasil belajar yang diperoleh peserta didik dalam materi turunan di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Guru Berpendapat 80% peserta didik rendah hasil belajar materi turunan. Menurut peserta didik 90% kesulitan dan 85% nilai rendah dalam turunan. Metode penelitian adalah Research and Development (R&D) di sekolah menegah atas (SMA) Yadika 11. Sampel penelitian 29 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data, instrumen ahli materi, guru dan peserta didik serta tes. Analisis dengan validasi, mengukur praktis dan efektif produk. Hasil, Pada tahap validasi ahli materi, guru dan peserta didik, penilaian rata-rata semua komponen modul adalah 91, 72%, 92, 42% dan 95, 90% dengan kategori sangat baik. Pada ujicoba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar nilai rata-rata tes 86, 25 dan 87, 20. Kesimpulan, hasil belajar peserta didik menginterpretasikan modul yang disusun, divalidasi dan diujicobakan, mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan, praktis dan efektif

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem, not the maximum level of students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' reasoning abilities with realistic mathematics education. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study to examine the improvement of students' mathematical reasoning abilities through a realistic mathematical education. The instrument used is a test item consisting of a test of mathematical reasoning ability and an attitude scale given to students. In this study, data were obtained to see the increase in students' reasoning abilities with realistic mathematics education in mathematics learning and to see student responses to learning using realistic mathematics education which were analyzed by processing test results data, namely testing homogeneity, testing hypotheses, and testing average differences. mean in both groups using t-test. The conclusion obtained in this study is that in the group of students whose learning using a realistic mathematics education the average score of students increased by 41.1%, while the increase in the average score of the group of students whose learning was conventional was only 17.3%. The number of students who scored above 60% in the group of students whose learning using a realistic mathematics education in the final test had reached 88.65%, while in the group of students whose learning was conventional it only reached 45.79%, meaning that the achievement of the group of students who studied with realistic mathematics education increases significantly when compared to the group of students who learn conventionally.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pencapaian perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang valid, praktis, dan efektif berupa modul ajar, LKS dan THB berbasis STEM-PjBL serta menguji pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penggabungan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4D dilakukan dalam penelitian ini serta juga mencakup penelitian eksperimen yang dilatarbelakangi karena rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMK. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada rapor pendidikan yang mana pada indikator literasi, numerasi, maupun bernalar kritis masih dibawah kompetensi minimum. Penelitian ini melibatkan 32 siswa kelas X Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (TKR) sebagai subjek uji coba dan kelas X Teknik Sepeda Motor (TSM 1 dan 2) masing-amsing berjumlah 25 orang sebagai sampel. Pengukuran dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran, tes hasil belajar dan angket respon siswa. Hasil validasi untuk modul ajar, LKS, serta THB telah valid dengan skor secara berurutan adalah 4,77; 4,70; dan 4,81. Pada hasil kepraktisan diperoleh hasil 92,00% dengan kategori sangat baik. Nilai kefektifan menurut hasil penilaian hasil belajar yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh hasil 78,13% siswa tuntas mengikuti pembelajaran serta 93,75% siswa merespon positif terhadap pembelajaran. Hasil pengujian t-test bahwa perangkat pembelajaran matematika model STEM-PjBL berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.This study aims to develop valid, practical, and effective mathematics learning tools in the form of teaching modules, LKS and THB based on STEM-PjBL and to test their effect on critical thinking skills. This research combines development research (R&D) with 4D models and experimental research which is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of SMK students. This can be seen in the education report cards where the literacy, numeracy, and critical reasoning indicators are still below the minimum competency. This study involved 32 students of class X Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) as test subjects and class X Motorcycle Engineering (TSM 1 and 2) each with 25 people as samples. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, observation sheets on the implementation of learning devices, learning achievement tests and student response questionnaires. Validation results for teaching modules, LKS, and THB are valid with a score of 4.77 respectively; 4.70; and 4.81. In practicality results obtained results of 92.00% with very good category. The effectiveness value based on the learning outcomes test that has been carried out shows that 78.13% of students complete the lesson and 93.75% of students respond positively to learning. Based on the t-test on the results of experimental research, it was found that the STEM-PjBL model of mathematics learning had a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Problem solving skills are important for students and must receive special attention so that all students can understand and master the ability to solve a problem in the teaching and learning process of mathematics. The importance of this makes learning mathematics require a model that is able to hone students' abilities in solving mathematical problems. This study aims to describe the mathematical problem solving ability of sixth graders through the application of the Quizizz-assisted Problem Based Learning model. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological research design. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used qualitative data analysis with three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The result of this research is that by learning through the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Quizizz students are able to solve mathematical problems better. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Problem Based Learning Quizizz model is effective in students' mathematical problem solving abilities. Students feel that learning the Problem Based Learning model is easier, plus the use of Quizizz makes students feel happy and challenged to solve math problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses mengembangkan, kelayakan menurut ahli materi dan bahasa serta ahli media, dan hasil uji coba penggunaan LKPD digital materi lingkaran dengan pendekatan PMRI berbasis HOTS untuk peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian Research and Development menggunakan model Borg and Gall dengan lima langkah utama, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan produk, uji validasi ahli dan revisi, uji coba lapangan kelompok kecil dan revisi, serta uji coba lapangan kelompok besar dan produk akhir. Subjek uji coba lapangan adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi. Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan berupa instrumen validasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa produk LKPD digital materi lingkaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk peserta didik kelas VIII SMP. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan penilaian LKPD digital materi lingkaran yang mendapat kategori “Baik Sekali” dengan persentase dari ahli materi dan bahasa sebesar 83,24%, ahli media sebesar 93,5%, guru sebesar 91,62%, dan peserta didik dalam uji coba lapangan kelompok kecil dan besar sebesar 84,19% dan 83,80%.This research aims to determine the process of developing, the feasibility according to material and language experts as well as media experts, and the results of testing the use of digital student worksheets (LKPD) with circle materials using PMRI approach based on HOTS for eighth-grade students of Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi junior high school. This research belongs to Research and Development using the Borg and Gall model with five main steps: needs analysis, product development, expert validation tests and revisions, small group field trials and revisions, and large group field trials until becomes a final product. The subjects of the field trials were eighth-grade students of Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi junior high school. The assessment instruments used were in the form of validation instruments and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative data analysis. This study indicates that the digital student worksheets product developed with circle materials is suitable for use of eighth-grade students. This is indicated by the assessment of the digital student worksheets with circle materials which gets the "Excellent" category from material and language experts with 83,24%, media experts with 93,5%, teacher with 91,62%, and students in the small and large group field trial with 84,19% and 83,80%.

Abstract

Siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar membutuhkan sebuah media pembelajaran konkret dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Kobela singkatan dari kotak belajar ajaib, merupakan media pembelajaran berbentuk kotak dengan penyajian yang menarik. Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran kobela pada muatan matematika kelas 3 sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dan pengembangan atau R & D. Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini ialah model ADDIE dengan langkah-langkah yang meliputi tahap analisis (analyze), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Penelitian dilaksanakan di MI Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Kartasura, dengan subjek penelitian 22 orang siswa kelas 3. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, serta angket validitas ahli materi, ahli media, dan respon peserta didik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Rata-rata hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 80% dengan kualifikasi media kobela layak digunakan, dan rata-rata hasil angket validasi ahli media sebesar 83,7% dengan kualifikasi media kobela sangat layak digunakan. Sedangkan hasil validasi respon peserta didik diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 91,2% dengan kualifikasi media kobela sangat praktis. Sehingga dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kobela praktis dan layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kesulitan-kesulitan apa yang dialami mahasiswa tadris matematika di UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan kesulitan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal integral. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian kepada 38 mahasiswa jurusan tadris matematika semester 3, dengan pengambilan subjek didasarkan pada 3 mahasiswa yang melakukan kesalahan semua soal, 5 mahasiswa yang salah dua soal dan 2 mahasiswa yang benar semua soal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan wawancara pada mahasiswa. Tes yang diberikan berbentuk tes uraian dengan materi integral. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif naratif dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 30% mahasiswa melakukan kesalahan prinsip, dan 23% melakukan kesalahan operasional. Faktor penyebab terjadi kesalahan mahasiswa adalah tidak memahami konsep, prinsip integral tak tentu dan integral tentu secara baik, serta kurangnya memahami konsep materi prasyarat seperti konsep turunan, operasi aljabar dan kurang teliti dalam melakukan operasi penyelesaian soal. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya pengajar menekankan materi konsep integral dan memberikan inovasi serta strategi pembelajaran yang tepat. Kata kunci: Integral; Kesulitan mahasiswa; Pandemi covid-19. AbstractThis study aims to describe the difficulties experienced by mathematics education students at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung and to find out what factors cause students' difficulties in solving integral problems. The type of research conducted is qualitative research with a case study approach. Research on 38 students majoring in mathematics tadris 3rd semester, with subject selection was based on 3 students who made mistakes in all the questions, 5 students who got two questions wrong and 2 students corrected all the questions. Data was collected by using the method of tests and interviews with students. The test given is in the form of a description test with indeterminate integral material. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive narrative using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that 30% of students made mistakes in principle, and 23% made operational errors. The factors that cause student errors are not understanding the concept, the principle of indeterminate integral and definite integral well, and the lack of understanding of prerequisite material concepts such as derivative concepts, algebraic operations, and lack of thoroughness in problem solving operations. This finding shows the need for teachers to emphasize integral concept material and provide innovations and appropriate learning strategies.Keywords: Integral; Student difficulty; Covid-19 pandemic
