Abstract

The potency of fishery and ocean spreading in Indonesia is largely taken benefit especially for fishermen sciety. The fishermen training is very absolute thing for research due to concerning with the training and non formal education. The method applied in the training of the fishermen society is hopefully suitable with the training target, the kind of the method, and those who implement the method. Abstract

This research was a quasi experimental aimed to investigate the influenced of inquiry learning model to generic science skills of students class XI IPA SMAN 1 Pangkajene Sidrap on buffer solution subject matter. Research design used “Nonequivalent Control Group Design” that consist of two variable there are inquiry learning model as dependent variable and generic science skills as independent variable. Population in this research is students class XI IPA SMAN 1 Pangkajene Sidrap academic year 2012/2013 which amount 240 students. The sample choosen by class random sampling and have choosen XI IA 1 as experiment class consist of 34 students and XI IA 2 as control class consist of 35 students. Instrument that used is generic science skills test (KGS) were integrated into buffer solution subject matter that includes indirect observation, sense of scale, logical frame, causality, mathematical modeling and concept formation.  The data was collected by given generic science skills test in pretest and posttest by objective test. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The descriptive results showed that generic science skills student of experiment class get N-gain average 0.71 in high categories and control class get N-gain average 0.31 in medium categories. The inferential statistics analysis showed that tcalculated 7,17 > ttable 1,68 in significant level α = 0.05, so H0 failed or H1 accepted. The result of analysis describe that inquiry learning model have positive influenced to generic skills science of students on buffer solution subject matter.Kata Kunci: Inquiry, Keterampilan Generik Sains

Abstract

Extracellular lipase is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis reaction of triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol and synthesis reaction of esters. Lipase can be produced by microbes include bacteria, fungi and yeasts. Lipase by Aspergillus niger 65I6 produced in the medium of Jatropha cake using solid-state fermentation has a different character of the lipase produced by other microorganisms. The aims of this research were to determine the optimum condition partially purified lipase by Aspergillus niger 65I6. The methods of this research were conducted in 2 steps: (1) production of lipase, (2) partial purification using ion exchange chromatography, (3) SDS-PAGE. The results of this research showed that partial purification lipase by Aspergillus niger 65I6 using anion exchange chromatography esterification activity of 45.58 U/ml with specific activity of 421.97 U/mg adsorbed at pH 8 and 0.5 M NaCl elution. Partially purified lipase by Aspergillus niger 65I6 was 86.11% yield and purification factor 12,12 and a molecular mass of Lipase by Aspergillus niger at 19 kDa estimated by SDS-PAGE. Found of this research can be explained for the development study of microbiology concept and practical contribution about procedure research simple design. Abstract

The purpose of the research is to increasing students learning outcomes. This method provides a direct experience for students, students' thinking skills, develop collaborative attitude with his partner and share knowledge with other students. The subjects in this research were students on grade X3 of SMAN 1 Batanghari academic year 2009/2010. This research was conducted on November 2009 which was carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle is held 3 times meetings and every meeting in each cycle carried out the evaluation.The results of this research show that the students learning outcomes in the first cycle with learning completeness percentage 53.13% with an average rating of 67.65, on the second cycle increases with the percentage of mastery learning to be 84.37% with an average rating of 83.28. Based on the results and discussion can be concluded that learning with TPS that accompanied with experiments can increasing students learning outcomes. The researchers suggest to teachers can be implement the TPS method accompanied with experiments to increasing student learning outcomes. Kata Kunci : TPS, eksperimen, hasil belajar

Abstract

In Indonesia, dengue disease is becoming one of the health problems often occurs Extraordinary Events (KLB) in adults and even in children. It is closely related to the change of seasons, migration, as well as the places for mosquitoes to breed. This method is a survey / field observations. The data collection is done by sampling mosquito larvae inside and outside the home on each of 10 homes inspected every district in Metro Centre, Metro West, Metro North and Metro South. In practice, a survey carried out by using the method of single larvae is done by taking a single larva in every places that hold water found there to be further larvae further identification of the type of larvae. Based on the results of the study, obtained the following conclusions: Container / used as breeding places of Aedes sp in Metro City in 2013, are etub, old tires, bottles, coconut shells, buckets, cups, flower pots, bowls scars, brown skin, cans, drums, trash cans and fish ponds. The number of mosquito larvae Aedes sp found as many as 283 tail consisting of species Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. The need for further research to determine the value of Numbers Free Flick (ABJ), House Index (HI), Container Index (CI), Breteau Index (BI) as well as education / socialization programs 3M plus follow up every 3 months to the public.Kata kunci: Extraordinary Events, Numbers Free Flick (ABJ), House Index (HI), Container Index (CI), Breteau Index (BI)

Abstract

Formalin is not a preservative for foodstuffs and processed products.  But until recently, the use of formaldehyde in foodstuffs is still common. Whereas, nutrition and food security education for the community is still lacking.This study aimed to: (a) obtaining community about the use of formaldehyde in foodstuffs views of knowledge, attitude and behavior, and (2) obtaining community about the implementation of nutrition and food security education. Research using a sample survey method Sidoarjo urban communities with accidental sampling technique. Data collected by questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that (1) almost all respondents knew there was food berformalin (90.91%); (2) examine the impact hazard (87.88%); (3) most feel uneasy (75.76%) and fear dangers affected (96.97%); (4) almost all respondents agreed formalin banned as a food preservative (90.91%), (5) most respondents (72.73%) has not made efforts to eliminate the formaldehyde in foodstuffs , and (6) almost all respondents (85.86%) Mersa not get enough nutrition education and food security. Conclusion: The public assumes that (1) the use of formalin in the food injurious to health and safety of consumers, (2) people need nutrition and food safety education are adequate. Kata Kunci:     persepsi,  formalin, bahan makanan, pendidikan,  gizi dan keamanan pangan
