Abstract

The products developed are based teaching materials realistic mathematics education. The purpose of this research is (1) Develop products in the form of teaching materials based on realistic mathematics education they deserve. (2) To determine the effectiveness of teaching materials based on realistic mathematics education on a linear program material. Development steps used is seeking potential and problems, collect data, product design, design validation, design revisions, product testing, product revision, utility testing, product revision, and mass production. The study population was students of class X Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 3 Metro and sample are learners class X1 (experimental group) and learners class X2 (control group). Validation results showed a very decent category with the percentage of 80,72%. The test results showed a small group categorized by the percentage of 69%. The test results showed a large group instructional materials primarily to the percentage of 77% feasible and effective in its use based on the average learning outcomes of students in large groups. Based on this, it can be concluded that (1) developed teaching materials eligible for use in learning. (2) The teaching materials are effective in learning

Abstract

The purpose of developing Islamic value-based mathematics teaching materials is to produce teaching materials on Islamic value-based opportunity materials by using a valid and practical flipbook maker. This type of research is development refers to the development model in Sugiyono's opinion through 7 stages, potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, and product revision. Based on the development of teaching materials research using this flipbook maker, the level of validity and practicality by conducting expert tests (material experts, design experts, Islamic value experts), responses from students. Material expert test obtained a percentage of 84% so that it was declared very feasible, the design expert test was obtained from 78% so that it was declared feasible, then the test of Islamic values experts obtained a percentage of 92% so it was declared very feasible. In the small group trial the percentage of 89% was obtained so that the media learning could be declared very practical. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning media produced is very feasible, while the response of students to learning media is very practical. Mathematics teaching materials using flipbook makers are available to teach independent teaching materials and shape good characters and morals with the Islamic values listed as taught.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop teaching materials of mathematical set based on Islamic values that are feasible, practical, and effective. This research type is Research and Development (R&D). The model used in this research is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The instruments of data collection used the questionnaires and evaluation questions. The result of this research is the average of expert validation is 81,48% (very feasible). Then, based on the implementation of the student small group is obtained practicality percentage of 82%. While the result of the field trial in one class is obtained effectiveness percentage of 66,67%. Therefore, this research can be concluded that teaching materials of mathematical set based on Islamic values are feasible, practical, and effective.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know the practicality and the effectiveness of the development of teaching material and ICT-based media toward learning outcome on material of quadratic equations and function. Research subjects are mathematics education students of FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Metro. Experimental design uses a before-after or one group pretest-posttest technique. The technique of collecting data uses the questionnaires and tests. Data analysis uses paired sample t-test. The results obtained by the value of sig. = 0.000 where the value of α = 0.05 and the value of t = 6807> ttable = 2,015, so it can be concluded that the value of the pre-test and post-test was very significantly different. The marginal average was known that post-test value was greater than that of the pre-test, so it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of teaching materials and ICT-based media toward learning outcomes. In other words, the teaching materials and ICT-based media are very effective for teaching and learning.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to know the effectiveness of teaching materials solids with flat side which was developed using the 5E instructional model against the activities and learning outcomes in eighth grade students in Junior High School State 2 Batanghari. In this study using the methodology of development research with formative type according to Tessmer (1993), namely the development of teaching materials of solids with flat side. Research procedure using 4 stages namely self evaluation, expert review and one-to-one, small group, and field tests. The results showed that the teaching material included in the category of valid and good for use. Then the average of class activity from the observation obtained a score of 10.3, it’s means that the category scores included into the active category, and then the average of learning outcomes was 71.38 where the scores included into the good category .

Abstract

The objective of this development research was to produce the learning  materials of sequence and series based on interactive multimedia that were valid and practical to use for the student. This research type was Research and Development (R&D). The model used in this research was Plomp model consisting of three phases, namely preliminary research, prototype, and assessment. The instrument used questionnaire consisting of two types of questionnaires, the first expert validation questionnaire conducted by two material experts and two learning material design experts. The second, the student response questionnaire was conducted by 10 students of Vocational high School of Muhammadiyah 1 Metro. Based on the validations process were obtained the result that  the average percentage of material experts was 82.01% in the very feasible category. The results of the assessment of students' response questionnaires was obtained the average percentage of 87.55% with a very practical category. Based on the exposure to the results of the validity and practicality test, it can be concluded that the learning  materials of sequence and series based on interactive multimedia are valid and practical for learning.

Abstract

The objective of this research and development was to produce a product of learning media based on android that were valid and practical to use for the student. This research type was Research and Development (R&D). The model used in this research was ADDIE model consisting of 5 stages. The instruments of data collection used the questionnaires product validation by experts and practicality by students. Based on the validations process were obtained the result that the developed learning media fulfill very feasible category, with the average percentage of 84.5%, which means that developed learning media was very valid. While the results of small group trials were obtained the result that the response of the students who numbered 10 students with an average of 88.1% stated strongly agree which means learning media developed was very practical. Based on predetermined criteria, the android-based mathematics learning media on linear program material developed fulfill the valid and practical criteria.

Abstract

This study is a research and development (R & D). The model used in this research is to adapt the development of the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) developed by Thiagarajan. This study aims to generate the teaching materials based contextual and ICT are good at program linear and to determine the effectiveness of teaching materials based contextual and ICT at program linear on learning outcomes. Data collection instruments used in this study in the form of questionnaires, interviews, sheet validation, and matter. Data analysis techniques used in this research and development is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique to calculate the average, while for influence before and after treatment that uses the analysis of paired sample t-test. The conclusions obtained from the development are teaching materials based contextual and ICT  are very valid and practical for use in the learning process. From the test results, it can be concluded that there is a very significant influence mathematics teaching materials based contextual and ICT  on student learning outcomes. So, teaching materials based contextual and ICT  is very effective for use in learning the material Program Linear

Abstract

One of useful graph theory to solve the real problems is Minimum Spanning Tree (MST). MST is network optimization problems that can be applied in many fields such as transportations problems and communication network design (Gruber and Raidl, 2005). MST begins from tree namely a connected graph has no circuits. From the graph, there is a sub-graph that has all the vertex or spanning tree. If that graph has the weight/cost, then the spanning tree that has the smallest weight/cost is called Minimum Spanning Tree. Basic algorithm used to determine the MST is Kruskal’s algorithm. This algorithm is known as one of the best algorithms for the optimization problems, especially for MST. In this paper is developed a source code program to determine MST using Kruskal’s algorithm and then implemented on several data representing a complete graph.

Abstract

Covid-19 yang kini menjadi pandemi global membuat banyak orang melakukan tindakan preventif. Salah satu cara untuk mencegahnya yaitu mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun dan menggunakan hand sanitizer. Tujuan pelatihan ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang cara pembuatan hand sanitizer pada masa pandemic Covid-19. Mitra pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah warga RW 05 di Kelurahan Purwosari Metro Utara Kota Metro. Karena keterbatasan hand sanitizer serta untuk memanfaatkan waktu di rumah kita dapat membuat hand sanitizer sendiri. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan selama 1 kali dengan tiga tahapan yaitu: persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan oleh dosen Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa mitra kegiatan ini mampu membuat hand sanitizer sendiri.
