Abstract

Ichtisar. Metoda pembebanan dan perentjanaan daripada alat2 pembangkitan tenaga listrik jang bekerdja setjara parallel dan untuk optimum ekonomi telah diperkembangkan setjara memuaskan. Dalam artikel ini dibahas keriteria2 sederhana untuk merentjanakan setjara optimum ekonomi sistim-sistim jang ketjil, padamana beberapa generator bekerdja setjara parallel, dan kehilangan2 transmisi dapat diabaikan.Abstract. The method of loading and scheduling of parallel operating power plants for optimum economy has been fairly well developed. For small system where several generators are operating in  parallel and transmission losses can be neglected, simple criterions for economic scheduling and its limitation are discussed in this paper.

Abstract

Ichtisar. Sebuah uraian tentang pesawat ptotoelectris photometer di Observatorium Bosscha Lembang, dengan mempergunakan sebuh photomultiplier type 1P21 jang didinginkan dengan es kering atau sebuah multiplier type EMI pada pendinginan telah disadjikan dibawah ini. Photometer tersebut jang diperlengkapi dengan filter2 U, B, V dan R, dipasangkan pada teropong lensa 37 cm Bamberg-Schmidt dan baru dapat dipergunakan untuk menentukan ekstingsi atmosfir untuk Observatorium Bosscha di Lembang pada penghabisan musim terang dalam tahun 1962.Abstract. A description of the photoelectric photometer at the Bosscha Observatory Lembang, operated with a photomultiplier of type IP21 refrigerated with dry ice  or using an EMI-type of multiplier (non-refrigerated) is presented below. The photometer, provided with U, B, V, and R filters and attached to the 37 cm Bamberg-Schmidt refractor, has been used for determining the atmospheric extinction of the Observatory during the last part of the dr season in 1962.

Abstract

Tulisan ini dibuat bersandarkan dasar fikiran jang dianut pada Bagian Mesin I.T.B. dalam mentugaskan para mahasiswanja mendjalankan kerdja praktis diberbagai perusahaan industry Indonesia. Kerdja praktis ini adalah dalam rangka pengisiskan para tjalon sardjana teknik mesin jang dinjatakan dalam rentjana peladjarannja. Bahan2 dikumpulkan berdasarkan pertjakapan2 dengan berbagai pihak dalam soal ini selama djangka waktu penulis mendjadi pengurus kerdja praktis pada Bagian Mesin tersebut. Bahan2 pembahasan akan dibagi kedalam golongan2 tindjauan berikut :* Hubungan kerdja praktis dengan pendidikan mahasiswa* Kerdja praktis sebagai penghubung I.T.B. dengan dunia perusahaan.* Kerdja praktis sebagai djalan bagi dunia industri untuk mengenal mahasiswa2 I.T.B. This article reviews the significance of the practical engineering work experience given by the various industries and workshops in Indonesia to the students of Bandung Institute of Technology, especially related to the mechanical engineering education. This review looks upon the problem utilizing the interest of the parties involved as the bases, namely:the interest of the education of the mechanical engineer to bethe interest of Bandung Institute of Technology as an institute of higher engineering learningthe interest of industrial enterprises.It is endeavored to express the viewpoints as clearly as possible  in agreement with the many statements and opinions conceived by the author during many discussion with various parties about this practical engineering  work experience of the mechanical engineering students of Bandung Institute of Technology. The parts of this article concerning these statements and opinions are presented based on memory, and therefore this article is far from being all inclusive. The author is of the opinion that the most important aspects are sufficiently covered in this short article.

Abstract

Let X1, X2,"¦.. be a sequence of random variables and Ð = {Pθ,θ Є (-)} be a family of distributions of the sequence.  For each n, An is the σ-field generated by X1,"¦, Xn.If θ1,θ2 Ð„ (-), we define Rn (θ1,θ2) as the density ratio of Pθ1,Pθ2 on An.The main purpose of the paper is to investigate limiting behavior of the sequence Rn with respect to any Pθ. This has applications in sequential analysis, where it is desired to know whether a sequential probability ratio test terminates with probability one.  The same conclusion can be drawn in the case of generalized sequential probability ratio test, under some restriction as to how the stopping bounds vary with n.If the Xi are independent and identically distributed, then we can write in Rn  as  where the Yi are independent and identically distributed. We have then that  converges to ~ or to -~ a.e. according as Eθ {Yi}>0 or <0. For any θ, say θ0, for which Eθ0{Yi}=0 we have lim inf Rn="0" and lim sup Rn=~ a.e. Pθ0.A sequence of non-independent nor identically distributed random variables {Xi} may arise in tests of composite hypotheses in the presence of nuisance parameters. An example of the situation is the sequential t-test, by some authors called the WAGR test. In this example we have the same qualitative  result as if the  Xi are independent and identically distributed.The foregoing example suggested the more general problem with the assumption A  and B (see chapters 2 and 3). The result can be described as follows: If θ1 < θ2then Rn converges a.e. to 0 if θ≤θ1 and to ~ if 0 ≥ θ2. For θ between θ1and θ2, except perhaps for one θ0, then lim inf is 0 or lim sup is ~ a.e. So that a sequential probability ratio test terminates with probability one, except perhaps for one value of θ. There is no example known to show  that there may exist a θ0 for which  the sequence density ratios has a positive lim inf and a finite lim sup.

Abstract

Ichtisar. Dengan mengggunakan teknik fotoelektrik dan fotografik diberikanlah magnitudo dan warna daripada 80 bintang dalam gugus galaktik NGC 6649, dalam UBV Johnson. Dengan menggunakan reflektor 60 intji di Observatorium Boyden telah didapatkan observasi fotoelektrik dalam 3 warna. Untuk fotometri forografik telah diambil katja2 potret dalam 2 warna dengan menggunakan teleskop Schmidt 20-28 intji di Lembang. Modulus djarak visuil semu daripada NGC 6649 adalah 14,2 mag, ekses warnanja ialah 1,2 mag, dan modulus sesungguhnja ialah 10,6 mag., sesuai dengan djarak 1300 parsek. Observasi fotoelektrik membuktikan bahwa salah sebuah bintang dalam NGC 6649 mungkin adalah sebuah bintang berubah Cepheid Abstract. By using photoelectric and photographic techniques magnitudes and colours in the Jhonson UBC system are given for eighty stars in the galactic cluster NGC 6649. Photoelectric three-colour observations were made with the 60 inch reflector at the Boyden Observatory. Photographic plates taken in two colours with the 20-28 inch Scmidht type telescope at Lembang were used for photographic photometry. The apparent visual distance modulus of NGC 6649 is 14.2 mag., the colour excess is1.2 mag. and the true modulus, corresponding to a distance of 1300 parsecs. The photoelectric observation show that one of the stars in the cluster of NGC 6649 is a possible Cepheid variable.

Abstract

Ichtisar. Disini dibahas sarat-sarat untuk singularitas riel terdekat dari amplitude proses2 jang ditundjukkan oleh suatu diagram Feynman dengan satu lingkaran tertutup jang umumnja menjatakan produksi dari partikel2. Telah ditundjukkan bahwa sarat Landau dan positipnja parameter Feynman jang bersangkutan tidak tjukup. Sarat selandjutnja jang masih harus dipenuhi ternjata merupakan perluasan dari sarat Karplus, Sommerfield dan Wichmann jang diketemukan untuk "fungsi tiga titik". Selandjutnya akibat sarat tambahan ini dibahas, dimana ditundjukkan pula hubungannja dengan "dugaan" (conjecture) dari Nambu dan Blankenbeckler jang ternjata umumnja tak benar. Pembahasan ini djuga dapat dipergunakan pada diagram Feynman jang sembarang. Abstract. The nearest singularities of production amplitude corresponding to a single loop Feynman diagram is discussed. It is shown that Landau condition and the positiveness of the Feynman parameter is not sufficient for the part of Landau curve to be the nearest real singularity. The additional condition is the generalized Karplus, Sommerfield and Wichmann condition, originally found in the 3-point function. The consequences of this additional condition is discussed and related to Blanken-beckler-Nambu conjecture. The discussion is also applicable to an arbitrary Feynman diagram.

Abstract

Ichtisar. Suatu metoda untuk memperbaiki hasil2 fotometri jang diperoleh dengan mempergunakan photometer Eichner telah disadjikan dibawah ini. Penggunaan metoda tsb. telah ditjobakan pada gugus bintang NGC 6530 untuk fotometer di Observatorium Warner and Swasey. Metoda ini djuga dapat digunakan pada bagian2 dari katja potret jang kepekatan emulsi daripada latar belakangnja ber-beda2.Abstract. A method to correct photographic magnitudes of stars embedded in nebulosities measured by making use of Eichner-photometers is presented. An application of the method was carried out on the Galactic Cluster NGC 6530 for the photometer of Warner and Swasey Observatory. The method is also applicable on parts of photographic plates which background-emulsion densities differ from that of the region of the standard sequence

Abstract

Pengukuran kelurusan-kelurusan (lineaments) topografi pada karst batu gamping di Nusa Barung menghasilkan tiga buah maksimum, jaitu jang terarah ke N 5°-10° E, N 35° -40° E, dan N 335° -340° E. Kelurusan-kelurusan topografi itu dipengaruhi oleh rekah-rekah/sesar-sesar. Penjebaran dari maksimum-maksimum mengesankan bahwa rekah-rekah disebabkan oleh tekanan jang terarah N 10°  E- S 10° W. Rekah-rekah jang sama arahnja dengan tekanan adalah rekah-rekah tarikan (extension fractures); jang membuat sudut 25° dengan arah tekanan adalah "shear fractures". Tekanan itu tidak menghasilkan perlipatan tetapi memiringkan seluruh Nusa Barung ke selatan sebesar 2°.Hal itu sesuai dengan posisi pulau tersebut pada sajap selatan Geantiklin Djawa.

Abstract

Dengan penggunaan model2 molekul dapat dilihat kemungkinan adanja suatu isomeri jang stabil dalam senjawa lingkar berinti delapan jalah monomer 2,2 "“dimetilpropilen dimetilmalonat (1).Senjawa ini dibuat dengan djalan reaksi pertukaran ester antara 2,2-dimetil-1,3-propandiol dan etil dimetilmalonat, dengan dibutilstanni dibutoxida sebagai katalisator.Suatu hasil jang lumajan dapat diperoleh dengan teknik destilasi bertingkat jang lambat sekali dari hasil tjampuran reaksi.Hasil tersebut telah diselidiki dan terbukti adalah senjawa lingkar berinti delapan jang diharapkan, jalah suatu matjam bentuk jang biasanja sukar sekali dibuat.Kenjataan telah diperoleh dengan penggunaan chromatografi gas bahwa isomer2 konformasi dari I tidak stabil pada 150°C.Belum didapat keterangan2 lebih landjut mengenai kestabilan isomer2 konformasi pada suhu kamar.
