Abstract

Kalender Sejarah Indonesia (LENSA) is an alternative media of history learning by using daily calendar which is featured by Indonesia history explanation that occurred at the date with wisdom quotes. LENSA has two models, there is print and virtual models. Specifically, this media is the history material that presented attractively and easy to understand. After field trials and launching, LENSA can be an alternative solution as learning media of Indonesia history. It means that this learning media can help students understand the history of Indonesia. Teachers have to deliver subject material, and increasing knowledge about Indonesia history for society.

Abstract

Monitoring technology is growing at this time can be used to reduce motor vehicle theft especially in the car. This is done, because of the lack of existing security systems in motor vehicles. For that, they invented a tool that can reduce theft, is to create a tool that auto security system controlled by PLC with the IP Camera, which can send an early warning to the owner of the car by SMS and send proof IP Camera catches image via email. Monitoring using the Internet IP Camera using media that can be accessed remotely. PLC will shut off the car so the owner can immediately come to the site, so avoid car theft. This tool can send you early notification via SMS with 90% success rate close to BTS (quiet hours) and 70% near the BTS (rush hour), 80% away from the BTS (quiet hours) and 60% away from the BTS (rush hour). Tool thief can send pictures via email proof with 96.67% success rate close to BTS (quiet hours) and 83.33% close to BTS (rush hour), 90% away from the BTS (quiet hours) and 80% away from the BTS (hours busy).

Abstract

The advantage of ultrasonic sensors is it is able to secure the safety in dark, low cost, cover all the rooms, and no need operator. The principle is to measure changes in the distance that reflected ultrasonic wave, it will be used as input for the microcontroller (ATMega 16) and output is alarm. There ATMega16, IC Regulator, TIPC, MAX 232, 2 On Button, ultrasonic sensor and servo. Software interface serves as an intermediary between users and hardware to provide a display that is easy to operate. Advantage of USS. System does not require operator so that it can be classified into smart devices.

Abstract

Incidences of diseases caused by mosquitos have been widely reported. Malaria, dengue and chikungunya are still being scourges to people in tropical countries. Many prevention actions have done to push down the number of those incidence. This study used ultrasonic wave as a newest technology to attack mosquitos. The purpose of the study was to make a repellent based on ultrasonic wave and auto rotate device with fully portable technology and combined with ethnical culture of Yogyakarta. The process of making those repellent is literature review, made a design, followed by processing the hardware and software, finishing, and evaluation

Abstract

Design and implementation of Portable Maternal Electrocardiogram using Blind Source Separation algorithm done to make a portable instrument and capable of separating signals electrocardiogram mother with fetus without removing some of its parts. From the experiment, at the midwife practising house, the instrument has successfully separate signal maternal and fetal electrocardiogram. Data retrieval is performed on a 38 years old pregnant woman with gestational age 24 weeks. As a result, mother has a frequency signals electrocardiogram smaller than a fetus. This is in accordance with the theory that the mothers pulse rate ranging between 90-120 times per minute while the fetus ranges between 120-140 times per minute.

Abstract

The concept of building a traffic light as a complement to the processing vehicle emissions causes global warming called “Global Cooler Roof (GCR)”. GCR shaped like a roof over the road consisting of two frames, the main frame and roof truss. The main order forms concrete columns and beams, roof truss is made around the ground used as roof trusses as well as limiting the product dimension. Roof frame is made of iron frame. The main structure in the form of a slab of concrete as a bridge pylon built on both ends (left and right) product. The center of the flue products was made from used containers, which were mounted inside the air purifier material suckles adapt Mono cylinder chimney. GCR has exhaust fan as a puller emissions into the chimney. Cooler Roof global uses solar panels as a source of energy. The inside of the chimney is modified into a special room treatment of emissions. At the border there is a maze arrangement forming successive layers of coconut fiber, sponge, and activated carbon. Coconut fiber serves to filter out larger material, such as dust, ash, and others. Spoon serves to absorb the liquid vapor. Activated carbon is very beneficial, i.e., to filter emission gases (CO2, NOx, Pb, CH4 etc.). Air and exhaust gases exit through the hole. So at the end of the clean air were out into the environment through the outlet.

Abstract

This study aims to propose a neutralize device for CO caused by cigarette smoke using plasma corona discharge, where it can ionize dirty air becoming clean air. The device requires DC-DC, blower, sensor PIR, and minimum system micro controller. PIR censor is used to detect incoming person into smoking room, data from censor are analyzed using micro controller to activate blower and converter DC-DC. After blower sucked cigarette smoke in the room, it will be flowed via pipe into reactor corona discharge, so the air full of CO is ionized making it clean. If the PIR censor n longer detect any movement, then within one minute the blower and reactor corona discharge will automatically stop operating.Using two converters DC-DC possessing voltage of 18KV and 22.2KV, CO gas can be reduced well, as showed by the laboratory test where the smoke cigarette with CO gas of 3ppm prior to activation of plasma corona discharge becomes 0ppm after the activation.

Abstract

Private vehicles such as motorcycle and car are very popular in our society. Besides used for transportation, they become a lifestyle too. Some of our people cannot have them. This difference has bad effects that gave birth to the chaos and crimes. This is caused by the jealousy factor. Based on that problems we are planning to make an equipment with ASCII code that can control and secure them from the distance, by SMS (Sort Message Send) through mobile phone. We expect to minimize the problems by using this equipment.

Abstract

Nowadays, people prefer to choose motorcycle as their transportation. But, security of motorcycle isn’t enough to protect the motorcycle from being stolen. Therefore, this program is called Sriwijaya Motorcycle Security (SMS) to find out working system and excellence of SMS. Manufacture of SMS is started by simulation program using Proteus 7. It was performed to create program using C language with compiler code vision AVR, to run microcontroller ATMega8535. After the simulation is running perfectly, the preparation of the prototype and the implementation at motorcycle were carried out. Without entering password, the motorcycle is useless and cannot be run. This product is expected to reduce the rate of motorcycle being stolen.

Abstract

Design of measuring device formalin with "Digital Formaldehyde Meter" that implementation of the Electronic Nose is an alternative technology to produce quick and accurate detector. "Digital Formaldehyde Meter" is designed with a digital system, the input signal detected the sensor array TGS (TGS 2600, and 2611), and processed with the help of microcontroller and digitized by a digital LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) to digital convertor. System instrumentation is based on "Digital Formaldehyde Meter" using solid and liquid samples. Process calibration tool "Digital Formaldehyde Meter" is performed by comparison tool uv spectrometer and the test produced an average error of 2.93%.
