Abstract

Degradation of air quality condition attracts worldwide attention. Less and poor informations cause the low people attention for this threatening environment condition. Monitoring facilities managed by government today, aren’t effective yet in the quality and quantity point of view. Their price were also so expensive causing low quality and numbers of monitoring devices. Team has developed web based air quality map and its sensor devices as the solution for this issues. Team has done data mining in the responsible government agencies and people of Surabaya to support the result later. Team then did the development of sensor devices and its web server. Three sensor devices which were placed in several points in Surabaya for testing and evaluation. The “Green Map” system gave good result in air quality data recording and presentation. It was able to give air quality level and early warning indicator through the map visualization. Finally, the system has potential to become new facilities which can be used to educate the pabulic about environmental conditions.Keywords: Air Quality, Low Cost Sensor, Microkontroler, Data Visualization, Urban Sensing

Abstract

Starting from the high level of the blind people in Indonesia, need for various kinds of technologies that can help them doing activities. One of the points that can be technology development is do improve their ability to use other senses than the sense of sight. Developing a technology that can replace humans will be very useful for blind persons to reduce their dependence on others. Technological developments are starting to break into parts capable of mimicking human nature can be developed to help the problems of society, especially the problems experienced by blind persons where most still require another person to assist in daily activities, such as traveling. Through literature studies that have been done, voice recognition and site search is emerging technology and can be used to facilitate the blind persons to find a place, so that both the technology chosen for combined in a "V-Map" application. In designing and building software systems, "V-Map" which is able to produce technology which helps the user in providing direction using voice and receive voice as an orders. The development of smartphones is very precise to be a support tools of this technology because it can be taken anywhere besides voice recognition in smartphones also continued to progress, so that the "V-Map" can be created by using the smartphone as a supporting tool. "V-Map" can be accessed through voice and can provide sound direction and provide a new solution for a variety of map developers because it provides a breakthrough in the form of the address stored in the contact. Contacts are accessible through voice then "V-Map" to access the contact location and issue commands to the users to approach the address.Keywords : Blind people, Technology, voice recognition, site search, smartphone.

Abstract

Human needs a healthy environment to create a comfort life. One aspect of the healthy environment is the cleanness of floor. This project is a automatic doormat used to help people keep the floor always clean. Abstract

On learning physics, many students are less understanding concept well.Students only memorization theory and formulas than understand the physics so its difficult to apply knowledge in daily life. Media of instruction designed can help students for creative thinking and discover patterns so that they could understand the subject matter well. Air track is one of the media that can be used for experimental mechanics of motion. However, the barriers are is the price of air track is an expensive. According to the survey of one of the producers of educational tools, a set of air track is prices reaches 10,5 million rupiah. The author intends to make the air track based infrared sensor as mechanic learning media that cheap and qualified. So that through these device, students can improve the understanding of the mechanics and physics learning interest. The methods used in the manufacture of air track design are prototype, preparation tools and materials, prototyping, testing and analysis, as well as finalization and completion. The results obtained with the prototype units with 3 components namely fotogate, gliders, air track support, series of electronic sensors and stopwatch, ackrilic, pulley and a spring System. Air track based infrared sensor worthy of use because the friction that occurs between the glider with air track very small (µ_k = 0.12). In addition, air track can be used as a device of teaching physics especially mechanics because it makes easy for students to understand the concepts, as well as the students were very interested to learn the mechanics of using the air track.Keywords : Air track, Media, Sensor

Abstract

Indonesian Kanji dictionaries that were found in the bookstore during this sequence only present way of writing and examples of using the Kanji letters. We have not found a dictionary that describes how to learn kanji effectively as a way to remember kanji. In addition, examples of using Kanji letters did not focus on vocabulary learning based on the level of the level of Japanese language learning, vocabulary should be memorized beforehand was also not included. Until now there are so many Indonesian Japanese language learners who have difficulties in learning kanji. Actually, studying Japanese kanji means we will be able to guess the vocabulary of the Korean language because a lot of similarities between Japanese and Korean vocabulary. Thus, the need for kanji dictionary compiled not only present how to write Kanji and examples of using Kanji letters but also how to remember the kanji, and division level based vocabulary. Therefore, we try to make the dictionary and have purpose of: 1 Provides media that can facilitate learners understand and remember Japanese kanji. 2 Provide instructional media can also enrich the science of Japanese language learners with vocabulary presented Sino Korea, making it easier to learn Korean vocabulary. 3 Adding references and resources kanji that have not featured in publications kanji dictionaries Indonesia. Method that was used to make this dictionary is a method of learning kanji by drawing the kanji origins and reminders words. The words made a principled reminder on the origins of Kanji is Shoukei Moji, Shiji Moji, Kai-I Moji, and Keisei moji. However, these reminders words also made based on our creativity to make it easier to remember the kanji learners. Thus, studying kanji in this way will definitely make kanji learners easily remember the form of starch.Keywords: dictionary, kanji, hanja.

Abstract

Tower crane adalah salah satu alat yang sering dijumpai ketika terdapat pembangunan gedung-gedung bertingkat. Tingkat kecelakaan kerja pada saat penggunaan tower crane cukup tinggi. Penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan pada pekerjaan tower crane, antara lain angin, pemanjatan, pemasangan, pelepasan, dan lain sebagainya. Oleh karena itu, diinisasi sebuah prototipe dengan nama WETON (Wireless Tower Crane) yang memodifikasi ruang kendali yang semula berada di ujung atas tower crane menjadi berada di bawah tower crane. Tahap pelaksanaan dimulai dengan pemodelan sistem. Kemudian, perancangan hardware, perancangan software, pembuatan prototipe, pengujian prototipe, dan perbaikan prototipe. Tahap pelaksanaan dilaksanakan secara berurutan. Prototipe WETON memiliki dimensi kurang lebih 1 m3 dengan beban maksimum yang dapat terangkat sebesar 10 kilogram. Pengujian terhadap program dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah program mengalami gangguan atau error, dari pengujian tersebut diketahui tidak terdapat gangguan, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa program tersebut siap diaplikasikan ke WETON.Keywords: tower crane, wireless, remote control, prototipe

Abstract

Based on kapolda metrojaya’s data, recorded many cases of theft house in Jakarta in 2012 amounted to 113 cases, while in 2013 there are 60 cases of theft. (Tribunnews.com, Jakarta, 2013). Increasing the crime rate in Indonesia. Make a security very important. Thus we need home security technology system to felt save. So the author want to develop a home security system that is efficient, convenient, and can keep running even when the power goes out. This activity is done by theoretical studies, based on existing theories and make modifications based on the results. At the end of the activities of a team of writers will produce a prototype system based home security PIR sensor, camera JPEG, SD memory and SMS are resistant to power outages which can run well. The products of this technology is expected to produce a new breakthrough for the security system in Indonesia.

Abstract

 AUTO HI-IS is an automatic moisture control devices that are used as a solution in mushroom cultivation. During this time the mushroom growers of mushroom cultivation in regulating moisture they carry still use manual or conventional. It is very effective and efficient. Ineffective because by using the conventional way the farmers do not really know the exact humidity in the mushroom cultivation and moisture to be added. Inefficient due to the farmers using conventional means removing the power and the cost of production which will result in increased production costs. The design consists of a system of electronic devices, monitoring and planting medium. Electronic systems using the Arduino Nano microcontroller, sensors DHT11. Monitoring using a 16x2 LCD and a memory card that records the activities AUTO HI-IS. Growing media consisted of designing a shelf fungus as a mounting medium baglog and fogging. AUTO HI-IS be a smart solution mushroom cultivation consumption can regulate the temperature and humidity in the mushroom house automatically. Mushroom cultivators can be anywhere without being tied season.
