Abstract

Background of the study: The application of storytellingPurpose: This study aims to determine the level of the child's visit after the application of storytelling in the park read RW 3 Breadfruit Malang.Method: In the application of this storytelling, researchers divided into four cycles. Each cycle using a different media story that is stuffed hilt, drawing on HVS, the image of the picture book and flannel board. Different stories read at each meeting, but the story is still in one kind, IE fables (Fiction animal life that behaves like a human), Stages of story telling is done is the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.Findings: Based on the research results, in the first cycle the final conditions are 6 children were keen to come back, in the second cycle increased to 34 children. However, in Cycle III, participants storytelling began to decline, the overall number of participants in Cycle III is 28 children, and in Cycle IV decreased again to 21 children.Conclusion: Children have decreased interest in returning, so the methods used should be more optimized.

Abstract

 Background of the study: The level of obsolescence of references used in the thesis of the Master study program of Hospital Management. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the level of obsolescence of the references used in the thesis of the Master study program of Hospital Management. Method: This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a sample in the form of a student thesis Program Study of the Management at Muhammadiyah University Hospital Yogyakarta in 2017 totaling 48 pieces of theses. Findings: Data is displayed in a table with a description. Obtained the results of Md = 2009. Thus, the citation below the year 2009 with a total of 857 (43.5%) citation was declared obsolete, while the citation above the year 2009 with a total of 1112 (56.5%) was declared valid. Conclusion: From this explanation, it can be concluded that the level of obsolescence of literature in the thesis of the master's study program in the management of Muhammadiyah UniversityYogyakarta is obtained from Md = 2009. Then, the citation below in 2009 with a total of 857 (43.5%) citation was declared obsolete, while the citation above 2009 with a total of 1112 (56.5%) declared valid.

Abstract

Background of the study: The increasing use of Internet technology has given rise to new challenges in the protection of privacy and personal data, especially with the increasing practice of collecting, using and distributing one's personal data. Lagging instruments and regulations is one of the triggers for the weak mechanism of protection against privacy and personal data, especially in the use of cloud storage technology.Purpose: This article aims to find out the security of managing archive storage in a cloud.Method: The method used in this paper is a literature review.Findings: The result indicates that cloud storage has created new legal problems, namely how personal data from cloud storage users are protected from various kinds of disclosure and distribution by cloud storage service providers to third parties, while in Indonesia itself the ITE (Information and Electronic Transactions) Law has not clearly regulated security protection from private files stored in the cloud storage.Conclusion: This is an obstacle to cloud storage to be able to continue to grow like the Internet which has become a prima donna in human life.

Abstract

Background of the study: In the era of glogalization the use of the internet has developed very dramatically. This is indicated by the use of gadgets among students who are always connected to the internet. Students like to find information in real or audiovisual form. The presence of YouTube also provides great results to the current generation. This is what makes the basis for learning how to use YouTube as a learning medium among students. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to study learning from YouTube as a media for student learning. Method: The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Findings: The results of this study indicate that students have a high level of gadget usage and are always connected to the internet. Students Almost every day Open the youtube application on their gadget. Conclusion: Yotube is used as a learning media that supports in adding knowledge and supporting the task of lectures. Learning to use YouTube by FISIP students can be seen effectively from the usability, accuracy, and distribution space of yotube media.

Abstract

Background of the study: The presence of technology creates archives originating from conventional media transfer to digital media and archives that are presented digitally (born-digital). Digital archives that contain information on a particular subject can be the main evidence in dealing with a problem in an institution or organization as well as consideration for decision making. Purpose: The purpose of this article is to describe the importance of preservation of digital archives, especially for institutions or organizations that need information in their digital archives. Method: This research uses the literature study method by collecting literature related to the topics discussed then selecting to produce a picture of the urgency of preservation of digital archives. Findings: The results of this study note that digital archival storage media are very at risk of experiencing degradation because they are not designed to last for long periods of time. Digital archive preservation is not only considered from storage media, it is also necessary to pay attention to preservation of technology used to access digital media and intellectual preservation. Conclusion: It is hoped that preservation of digital archives for long-term preservation should already be a particular concern and a priority for the government and related institutions. So that the important information contained can still be used by future generations.

Abstract

Background of the study: Maturity, wisdom, and accuracy of the community in the use of information in an age like now is very important to do. Especially for a variety of information that has the potential to cause conflict in the community as well as information allegedly containing lies or better known as hoaxes. Purpose: This study aims to put forward conceptual ideas about how to deal with information problems that are now experienced by the community. Method: The method used in writing articles is literature study by conducting a review of relevant literature. Findings: Literature review results found that education by families, optimization of existing institutions in the community, and also the provision of information channels / media is a good and effective way to establish a culture of literacy that is good for the community. So that the hoax news chain / hoax becomes increasingly depressed and disconnected by itself because literacy culture has formed from the smallest layer of a society. Conclusion: The emergence of hoaxes is one of the serious problems in today's digital society. Therefore, literacy or literacy culture is an important capital for humans in navigating the current sea of information

Abstract

Background of the study: This study discusses how a user perspective to the website of the Archives of Gadjah Mada University (UGM). Focusing on UGM students who actively use the services and service UGM Archives Agency website.Purpose: So that information is available in the library and archives can be reached by information seekers, the library / archives should be able to take advantage of their nature, either by setting up a website to allow users to search for information and can be accessed anywhere.Method: The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive Supported by the theory of methods PIECES, The technique of collecting data and information used by the researchers that conduct depth interviews with informants.Findings: The results of this study indicate that, overall layout and interface of the website of the Archives of UGM has been very good and the navigation system is very easy to understand, but accessing the collection of information alone users simply find it difficult, because they have to follow the procedures are quite complicated and have to wait for the information they need.Conclusion: If users need information and want to be accessible, then the user must come directly to the UGM Archives Agency.

Abstract

Background of the study: The background of this research is to see the participation and consistency of the surrounding community in preserving ancient manuscripts in Nagari Koto Padang. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to study and find out community participation in preserving ancient manuscripts in Nagari Koto Padang, Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra. Method: This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Findings: From this study it can be concluded that: (1). Community participation / participation in preserving an ancient manuscript or manuscript in Nagari Koto Padang is only limited to efforts to maintain the existence of the manuscript; (2). Carry out preventive preservation by the heirs of the manuscript by maintaining the manuscript so that it is not exposed to dust, insect attack, and maintaining air temperature or humidity so that the manuscript is not damaged, and do not forget the manuscript is kept in a safe storage; in addition, script activists also carry out curative preservation by using media transfer or what is commonly referred to as digitalization, describing the contents in a manuscript, and compiling cataloging of manuscripts; and (3). In preserving a manuscript there are obstacles that are lacking funds and operational equipment from the community, and minimal community / knowledge in preserving a manuscript. Conclusion: The Dharmasraya Regency Government and the Adityawarman Museum are advised to support the preservation of ancient manuscripts (both in physical form and the information contained therein) to provide funds and training to the community in preserving ancient manuscripts in Nagari Koto Padang.

Abstract

Background of the study: TQM or commonly referred to as Total Quality Management organizational culture is focused on the achievement of quality and enhance sustainable manner through every activity of the organization.Purpose: This study specifically aims to: (1) determine the understanding of leadership and staff to the concepts of TQM in the Library of Padang State University (UNP); (2) obtain a picture of how the managerial based TQM activities undertaken to realize the quality of library services in the UNP.Method: This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection was done by interview, observation, and analyzing data.Findings: The subjects were leaders, heads of sub-section, the library staff, user, events, facts, documents and other forms of efforts, programs or activities of the library.Conclusion: The object of this research is carried out TQM system in the library of the UNP.

Abstract

Background of the study: In villages, land documents, especially for land that has not been certified or commonly referred to as traditional land, often triggers problems. Customary land, which is often called girik, petok, rincik, ketitir, letter C or others, is not supported by adequate documents. Even if there is in the community, the condition is often problematic, whether it's torn, the paper is fragile, and damaged, or ink that has been difficult to read. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the management of village-based land records through the digitization of land titles stored in villages or villages. Method: The methodology used in this research is through direct assistance to village officials to practice the digitalization and regulation of land records based on archival rules. Findings: The findings of this study are that the archives of the villagers' land are often stored just like that in the village, making them vulnerable to damage, loss and hard to find again. With the rules of archival science and digitizing land records, the process of meeting will be easier again. Conclusion: This research has a theoretical and practical impact. Theoretically provide insight into digitizing vital archives. Whereas practically, if the management of land records can be carried out well, then the potential for land conflicts can be reduced to a minimum.
