Abstract

Surabaya had more than 1.600 pharmacists in 2016. However, based on the data there were 144 pharmacists that did not have practice licenses in hospitals and primary health care in Surabaya. It meant that the implementation of The Regulation of Health Minister Number 889 Year 2011 was ineffective. The purpose of this research was describing the pratice lincesing of pharmacist in hospitals and primary health care in Surabaya and the factors that influenced the problem. This research was an observational descriptive study with cross sectional method. Primary data were collected through observation, interview and discussion with the staff in charged in Surabaya Public Health Office. While the secondary data could be achieved from official documents, reports, and archives. Comparing the number of pharmacists in the hospitals or primary health care with the minimum manpower standard of pharmacist based on The Regulation of Health Minister Number 56 Year 2014, the result showed that 33 hospitals had not fulfilled the standard minimum number of pharmacists which mean they had not made their practice licenses. Therefore, the given recommendation was strengthening Public Health Office’s role to direct warning and punishment toward hospitals and pharmacists.Keywords: pharmacist, practice license, hospital and primary health care

Abstract

ABSTRACT The number of non-emergency patients is high from normative visit an indication of problems in the Emergency Room. The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship between the patient's assessment of the provider or hospital with emergency status. This study examines the factors that exist in hospitals, among others, policy about patients who come, the physical condition of buildings, facilities, skilled human resources. The study involved 172 patients who ever went to the Emergency Room RSUD Ibnu Sina Kabupaten Gresik in June 2014, data were taken with visit their homes to conduct interviews based on a questionnaire. The independent variable in this study is the emergency of the patient's status while the dependent variable is the policy of the patients who come, the physical condition of buildings, facilities, skilled human resources. Data were analyzed using the relationship test Chi-square (α = 0.05). The study states that the factors comprising hospital policy on patients who come, the physical condition of buildings, facilities and skilled human resources and discipline to have a relationship with the emergency of the patient's status. Variable physical condition of buildings, facilities and skilled human resources need to be considered and improved the quality of emergency services. Keywords: facilities, hospital, status of emergency, the physical condition of                    buildings

Abstract

ABSTRACTHigh public interest to go abroad for treatment need to be a particular concern for hospitals in the country. The hospital is not only able to create berkelualitas services but also need to create loyalty to the patient. Loyalty will be created if any implementation of nursing services mix well done. This study aims to determine the relationship of nursing mix shipping services with patient loyalty. This type of survey research with cross sectional analytic study with a sample of 68 people. The way to get the sample with stratified proportional is random sampling. The research result was analyzed by using chi square and logistic regression test. The result of research showed that there is a significant relationship between the marketing mix with nursing service ( product, place, price, promotion, people, and process, as well as physical evidence) with the patient loyalty in which score p > 0,05. A conclusion of the research is simplified that there is a relationship between the marketing mix with hospital service for the patient loyalty. The relationship could be seen at people variable and health insurance with patient loyalty. The development division for service and marketing at hospital is necessary to apply the specific cost as to promote the old patient and the qualified service of nursing. The other major focus want to develop the healthy service of nursing treatment, also provide the patients’ satisfaction, thus  it make patients’ loyalty on the installation of hospitality of Ambun Pag.Keywords: mixed, marketing, loyalty, patients

Abstract

Inaccurate drugs planning may cause excessive budget, stagnant, and stockout. This research aims to analyze drugs planning in medical logistics of Rumah Sakit Islam Jemursari Surabaya. This research is a descriptive study using cross sectional design. Primary data were obtained through observations and interviews. Secondary data were obtained through drugs planning and drugs consumption data from November to December 2016. Afterward, data were processed and found that 40% drugs item on November 2016 have greater amount of consumption than their planning and 65% drugs item on December 2016 have greater amount of consumption than their planning. The method of drugs planning that used in medical logistics of Rumah Sakit Islam Jemursari Surabaya was consumption method, but it was not calculate the average of drugs consumption. After the calculation based on Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 1121 Tahun 2008, there is only 20% drugs item on November 2016 which have greater amount of consumption than their planning and 20% drugs item on December 2016 which have greater amount of consumption than their planning. This research showed that the calculation of drugs consumption for medical logistics in Rumah Sakit Islam Jemursari Surabaya need repairement.Keywords: consumption method, drugs planning, hospital

Abstract

 Human Resource is one of the main factors that drive the quality of hospital services. Human Resource Planning of pharmaceutical technicians at RSIA KM posed risks to service performance. The objective of this cross-sectional study was to analyze the pharmacy staff’s needs and workload by using Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN) method based on real-time activity standards for each workload. RSIA KM had 4 existing pharmacy technicians. Based on the WISN analysis, the results of the study show that WISN ratio was 0.49 or ≤ 1.00 which means there was a lack of pharmaceutical staffs. The ideal number of pharmaceutical staffs should be 8.08 or 8 staffs. In response to that, RSIA KM recruited 4 pharmacy technicians. Abstract

ABSTRACT Brand knowledge is an information and public knowledge measurement related to consuming product. Low of care visit in clinical care of specialist dental health and hospital are 22% from maximum supply count each year, so it needs to analyze the decision of choosing Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital based on brand knowledge. This study was an observational analytic, and based on the time, this study was cross-sectional study with stratified random sampling. There were 100 respondents that participated in this study. Statistical test used logistic regression. The result of this study indicated that there was no effectbetween brand awareness with the public desicion to visit Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital (p=0,746) and also there was no effectbetween brand image with the public decision to visit Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital (p=0,138). This study concluded that there was no effectof brand knowledge (that consists of brand awareness and brand image) toward the public decision in choosing Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital. According to the result, Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital should improve their medical service quality by advertising and dissemination of their medical service information. Keywords: brand awareness, brand image, brand knowledge,  decision,                           hospital

Abstract

Based on Keputusan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara Nomor KEP/25/M.PAN/2004  level of customer satisfaction of a service can be judged by the Community Satisfaction Index, there are fourteen elements of these services have a standard that is equal to 85%. General clinic and specialist in Menur Mental Hospital Surabaya  has a Community Satisfaction Index by 75.11% which is below the standard of 85%. This research was purposed to analyzing customer satisfaction  based on the level of importance of hospital performance in timeliness dimension of Evans and Lindsay service quality with importance performance analysis method. The research design  was observational with cross sectional approach. Research conducted on November  2016 included 98 customer in General clinic and Specialist in Menur Mental Hospital Surabaya  as respondents. Data were analyzed by Importance Performance Analysis. The result showed respondents considered that all aspects of the timeliness dimension is very important, especially for check the wait time ≤ 60 minutes aspect with mean importance  value is 3.58, and performance service respondents considered check wait time ≤ 60 minutes aspect had smaller mean value performance (2.44) from the mean performance timeliness (2.84). The conclusion is customer not satisfied with timeliness dimension of Evans and Lindsay service quality. Keywords: Customer Satisfaction,  Importance-Performance Analysis, Timeliness

Abstract

Preliminary survey result showed the employee job involvement rate of Rumah Sakit Mata Undaan Surabaya reached 65,26%. It means that the employee's job involvement rate was low (standard 80%). Job involvement consists of three factors; support from co-workers, employee's participation in decision making, and the dependence of the tasks. The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of supervision and working condition of employee job involvement. The observational analysis was used in this research with the cross-sectional design. The data were obtained through questionnaires with simple random sampling as many as 62 employees as the sample. The obtained data were analyzed with logistic regression test univariate (α=0,05) to examine the influence of supervision and working condition of the employee’s job involvement. The test result indicated that supervision significantly influenced employee's job involvement at significance value was0,000201. Better supervision made better employee's job involvement. On the other hand, working condition did not influence the employee's job involvement (significance value was 0,097), but cross-tabulation result indicated that better working condition made better employee's job involvement. It can be concluded that supervision affects job involvement while working condition does not affect the job involvement.  Keywords: job involvement, supervision, working condition

Abstract

ABSTRACT Sumenep regency as the most eastern districts in the region Madura have not been able to meet the target of Universal Child Immunization (UCI) coverage in accordance with the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) Indonesian government. Application of the village partnership system is expected to increase the scope of UCI in the village. This research is aimed to analyze the inputs, processes, and outputs the village partnership system is based on the role of village officials, village midwives, and society. This study uses observational descriptive with cross sectional design. Samples were collected using stratified random sampling method consist of the villages, midwives, and community groups. The result showed that the majority of village officials, midwives, and community groups unoptimal in partnership system in the village, so the need to improvements to the village partnership system is good an solid. There was no significant effect of the variables role of village officials and midwives to result UCI village coverage. On community variables, the process of partnership, and the result of partnership, there are several variables that have significant influence. Based on the survey result it can be concluded that the system of partnership in the area Puskesmas do not use the integrated partnership model, but using a network model of partnership.Keywords: community development, immunization, partnership, Universal Child Immunization

Abstract

Surgery is the follow-up actions of diagnosis. The biggest revenue in Clinics comes from surgery.The number of patients suffering cataract who do not undergo cataract surgery affects the revenue of Clinics. The problem in this study was high number of cataract patients who did not undergo cataract surgery with an average of 50.7% per month. This study aimed to clarify the influence Theory of Planned Behavior in generating intention to undergo cataract surgery among patients. Population under study was patients eligible for cataract surgery. Sampling was done using accidental sampling technique with a number of 67 respondents. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire and analysis was done using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicated that variable attitude had a dominant influence on the intention to undergo cataract surgery, with value of β =0,379. The second variable was the perceived behavioral control with value of β=0,258, and the third variable was subjective norms with value of β=0,246. Therefore, it can be inferred that variable of attitudes toward behavior is factor with dominant influence on the intention to undergo cataract surgery. Finally it is expected that Mojoagung Eye Clinic to improve attitudes, perceived behavioral control and subjective norms of patients. Keywords: intention, Theory of Planned Behavior
