Abstract

The success of a project is uncertain. There is a possibility that the project was successful or failed. Some of the risks that may occur in the project include the arrival of goods or the completion of work late from the time set, design changes due to obstacles in the field, as well as other risks. It is therefore necessary to study the project risks to identify potential problems that may occur and make decisions to reduce risks and increase the likelihood of success of the project. In order for risk management to be performed, the owner must know the steps in evaluating the project and the steps in the implementation of risk management. This study discusses the development of algorithms for project evaluation and risk management. The resulting algorithm is then implemented to the CC-II civil construction project at Indarung VI Project. The results of the implementation show that the project is not running in accordance with the plan. The dominant factors causing delays include BOQ miscalculation by consultants, inadequate and slow decision-making mechanisms, and details of workmanship changes.

Abstract

Engine maintenance strives to always improve its service excellence with tools such as gate system where the system is expected to realize the lead time for 60days. In the implementation of the gate system is still not able to meet the expected target. During maintenance or overhaul the engine is still encountered waste or waste that causes the target cannot be met. Lean Manufacturing is an approach that aims to minimize waste that occurs in the process flow.Understanding the conditions of the process described in Value Stream Mapping for further elaborate activities that have the value-added and non-value added.Through seven waste concept, then be weighted to determine the most dominant type of waste. From the data processing is obtained that through the Value Stream Mapping is known gate 1 and gate 3 is the point that there are many wastes. Weighting and ranking of seven existing waste in the process of the activity obtained results in the form of a waste critical sequence of seven existing waste. Highest weights on the type of waste waiting with a weight of 0.38. Results of Root Cause Analysis in mind that the root cause of waste waiting for that data is maintained, the lack of attention to people development, There are still bugs in the system and miscommunication.

Abstract

The definition and function of inventory management reveal the importance of modern industry in formulating policies that regulate the supply of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products. Unfortunately, most companies fail to consider the characteristics of their raw materials when determining inventory strategies. Raw materials that are perishable are those that consider their service life and storage time. Inventory management plays a crucial role in supply chain management, especially for perishable raw materials, such as food products. PT X, a food business in Padang, experienced difficulty in meeting the demand for rendang products due to a lack of raw materials. Therefore, this study aims to develop an inventory management model that takes into account the perishable raw materials' expiration time. The model development consists of three stages: model development design, inventory model formulation, and model testing. The proposed model resulted in a storage time interval of five days and an optimal order quantity of 34 kg of meat with a safety stock of 14 kg. Implementing this model led to lower total inventory costs for PT X than the actual conditions of the company. The total inventory cost obtained using this model is Rp279,797,822. This study emphasizes the importance of considering the characteristics of raw materials in determining inventory strategies to optimize inventory management effectively and efficiently. The study's findings can serve as a reference for other food businesses encountering similar inventory management challenges in the perishable food industry.

Abstract

3D printing of free-form objects presents inherent complexity due to their organic and intricate shapes. Designers engage with such objects, considering a range of factors including aesthetics, engineering viability, and ergonomic comfort. This research is focused on achieving the most effective printing parameters for a free-form object utilizing the Digital Light Processing (DLP) technique within a 3D printer. Within this study, a squeezed hexagonal tube-shaped CAD model was employed as an experimental subject, following the principles of the Response Surface Method (RSM). The research delved into the optimization of printing parameters, particularly layer thickness and exposure time, to enhance the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the free-form model. Two levels were established for each factor: layer thickness was set at 0.06 mm (low) and 0.08 mm (high), while exposure time was tested at 6 s (low) and 8 s (high). The assessment of surface quality involved a qualitative evaluation employing a digital microscope to identify potential defects and imperfections in the print outcomes. The investigation culminated in the identification of the optimal printing parameters: a layer thickness of 0.0753 mm and an exposure time of 7.2143 seconds. This achievement not only enhances the understanding of 3D printing variables in the context of intricate free-form models but also contributes to the broader field of additive manufacturing parameter optimization.

Abstract

The advantages of QFD is to translate customer need into a technical response. But QFD has some disadvantages related to the difficulties in distinguishing the difference of needs between consumers, difficulties to fulfill the needs of different consumer groups, and the exietence of conceptual gap between consumers and companies. The proposed method to overcome these disadvantages is conjoint analysis. The main advantage of conjoint analysis is the ability to get the optimal design combination for products or services based on consumers' preference. The result of conjoint analysis, estimation of perceived value, and integration of QFD can be used to know the preference market needs among consumers, identify the office desk, determine consumer segments and technical respons, and estimate the additional price of office desk attributes as an effort to the development of the office desk. In overall the best Office desk combination results based on consumers' preference of Office desk is the white color without additional drawers or supporting features, with table size is 120x60x75 cm and footstool. Segmentation based on preferences resulting in three clusters, namely size, color, and availability of drawer. The highest technical response to be the company's priority in meeting the needs of consumers is to make the proper hole connection. Based on the perceived value, the company is capable to predict that the additional prices of 1 drawer is Rp.1-Rp.500.000, the addition price of 2 drawers is Rp.800,000 - Rp.900.000, and the addition price of the foundation of the foot is Rp.50.000 - Rp.150.000, and the additional price of supporting features is Rp.150.000-Rp.250.000.Keywords: Quality Function Deployment (QFD), conjoint analysis, segmentation and perceived value.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently entering a new normal era; this requires people to adapt to the clean-living habit in accordance with health standards in order to carry out normal activities. At the same time, online transportation services have reopened for activity. The service quality provided by online ride-hailing companies (i.e., ojek) such as Gojek, Grab, and Maxim must now consider matters relating to user safety. This study proposes Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) as a method for assessing the service quality of online transportation service providers and uses the Pandemic-SERVQUAL 4.0 model. Pandemi-SERVQUAL 4.0 model adds two new criteria, namely "pandemic" and "industry 4.0". The addition of two new criteria that are more relevant to the current circumstances will increase the accuracy of the research. This study aims to propose the integration of Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (IVIF-AHP) to determine the criteria weight and Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Weighted Aggregated Sum-Product Assessment (IVIF-WASPAS) to assess the service quality of several online transportation service providers based on the obtained criteria weights. From the results of the service quality assessment using the integration of IVIF-AHP and IVIF-WASPAS, the ranking of online transportation service providers during the new normal era were Grab-car, Go-car, and Maxim-car.
