Abstract

In order to achieve religious moderation, the inhabitants of Trenggalek Regency engaged in interpersonal communication, which is the focus of this study. Data gathering for this study involved both observation and interviews, following a qualitative research methodology. The findings demonstrated that interpersonal communication was successful in educating the residents of Trenggalek Regency about religious moderation there. With this, the neighborhood, which has never experienced interfaith conflict, may bring about harmony among its residents. Religious moderation is crucial in society. Every human being aspires to the fulfillment of holy peace. Importantly, Trenggalek practice of religion comports with the established social order and presents no risk of conflict. One of the benefits of interpersonal communication is the recognition of religious harmony.

Abstract

The majority of young people in Kekalek now find enjoyment and intriguing things to play in online games. It is unquestionably impossible to separate this action from the consequences, particularly the negative impacts of online gaming. The goal of this qualitative research method is to examine gamers' motivations for playing games and how they relate to their social behavior. The study's findings demonstrate that gamers play for enjoyment and entertainment, particularly when there is a competitive element. The implications also indicate a detrimental effect on gamers' communication behavior, including negative or sluggish reactions, disobeying parental commands, and using inappropriate language. As a result, gamers' primary objective is to enjoy themselves, which has an effect on the way they communicate, as they frequently use poisonous language and make fun of their parents and other members of the community.

Abstract

The criticality of Ngasuh Gumi ceremonial communication practices for the Tanjung people in North Lombok. The purpose of this study is to comprehend the significance and steps of the Ngasuh Gumi ceremonial procedure. An ethnographic design is a component of the qualitative research methodology. The findings demonstrated the significance of ritual communication in the Ngasuh Gumi tradition for the local population. Ritual communication is symbolic rather than information-focused. Confirmation, breaking, notification, matur penguningan, and burial of the buffalo head are among the processes. The Ngasuh Gumi ritual serves as a way of warding off danger in human life as well as a symbol of the "tri-relation" of human life, upholding and caring for the preservation of nature and ecology.

Abstract

This study intends to investigate how moderate Islam is contested on the websites muhammadiyah.or.id and nu.or.id. This study uses Norman Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis approach as a sort of content analysis research. The findings of this study demonstrate that, in the first place, the discourse of moderate Islam in NU media is presented under the slogan “Globalizing Moderate Islam,” while in Muhammadiyah media, the discourse of moderate Islam is presented in relation to ”he accomplishments in seven different areas, including economy, education, morality, social issues, da'wah, nationality, and gender. Second, the discourse process used to portray moderate Islam is examined in terms of textual, social, and sociocultural praxis dimensions. This analysis reveals the various ways that moderate Islam is interpreted as well as the motivations behind such interpretations.

Abstract

The transition from analog to digital broadcasting has been mandated for West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province. Numerous stakeholders are involved in the dissemination of information about the relocation of broadcasting in NTB. The spread of information about broadcasting migration and the pressing need for digital broadcasting are investigated in this study using the qualitative technique. The study's findings show that the government used a number of broadcasting organizations (TV and radio) to disseminate information about the migration to digital television in NTB. The public has endorsed this in order to acquire broadcasting services of a higher caliber. This switch to broadcasting is the best move for making optimum use of frequency and fostering the development of the digital economy and industry.

Abstract

We have seen far too many variations in millennial society's conduct, both positive and negative. In actuality, the excessive media consumption culture has an effect on abnormal conduct. Not to mention the issues with bullying and fake news that abound in online communities. This study aims to provide millennial society and da'wah actors with a reference while also learning about the da'wah innovative ideas of Pemuda Hijrah Lombok. This study combines library research with qualitative methodology. The research's findings point to the innovation of Pemuda Hijrah Lombok in the digital disruption era, particularly in the form of Deep Talk, Road Show, PHL, Journey with Al-Qur'an, and other constructive activities that help develop strong moral character and religious understanding. This initiative pushes netizens to adopt more sensible digital behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the phenomenon of Dakwah Kadam Sidik on the TikTok platform in the contemporary era. The research employs a qualitative descriptive methodology, focusing on content analysis of Kadam Sidik's dakwah videos and conducting direct interviews with Kadam Sidik as the primary data source. Additionally, the study provides a comprehensive review of literature on dakwah in the era of social media and relevant theories. The findings of this research are expected to offer a deeper understanding of effective dakwah strategies on TikTok, as well as the contribution of Dakwah Kadam Sidik in disseminating religious values through social media. The conclusions drawn from this research can serve as a foundation for developing more adaptive and contextual dakwah strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to explore the relationship between interpersonal communication and libraries, focusing on the role of librarian-user interactions in fostering a comfortable atmosphere and ensuring user satisfaction. Our research shows a positive correlation between effective interpersonal communication and success in the library environment. Our findings underscore the importance of librarians' direct involvement in achieving a high quality library through good interpersonal communication, thereby increasing user satisfaction. This research contributes valuable insights to understanding the dynamics of interpersonal communication within libraries, paving the way to improve communication strategies and enhance user experience.

Abstract

Dian Yuli Novi is the first Indonesian women to be directly involved in an act of terrorism. However, a number of Indonesian media coverage if this case actually dwarfed Dian Yuli Novi’s role as the main perpetrator of terrorism. This paper aims to identify a number of framings found in Dian Yuli Novi’s terrorism reporting. Furthermore, this paper finds that the euphoria of number of media in exploiting this news actually makes the into symbiosis mutualism, and indirectly provides publicity for terrorist group network in Indonesia.

Abstract

In this era of modernization, the Tembang tradition has declined due to the lack of young people interested in learning to read palm leaves. some people also perceive the Tembang tradition as only conveying entertainment messages without any Islamic elements. The method used is library research with the content analysis approach. The results showed that the Islamic message in the Sasak song tradition in Semoyang village is a message to preach, moral messages, divinity, and the message of parents' will to their children. The Tembang tradition is a medium for delivering da'wah messages in the form of chanting beautiful verses in which there are many messages contained, not only about da'wah, and divinity, but messages that will become the foundation of life.
