The public sphere in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic experienced significant dynamics, because public sphere which is a shared property space as an arena for sharing public opinion is limited, especially in the Islamic view which emphasizes avoiding the plague. Moving away from the Covid-19 outbreak means staying away from the crowd as a form of priority to avoid danger. This study aims to describe public space in different circumstances amid a pandemic in an Islamic and multicultural perspective. The research method used is literature study through indepth analysis in parsing the problem in accordance with the term of research. The results of the research showed that public space in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic experienced a shift in function to become a virtual public sphere. The phenomenon of public sphere in Islamic view and multicultural communication is normatively direct and threatening during the pandemic because it risks inviting a crowd so that many virtual-based spaces become active and effective spaces as dimensions of public sphere in the Covid-19 pandemic era.

Innovation of da'wah in higher education serves the heart of a successful balance of academic achievement and the nobility of the academic community. This study aims to narrate the innovation of da'wah at the Universitas Negeri Semarang within the framework of da’wah management theory that prioritizes a contingency approach in creating a harmony of preaching and academic activities. The research method used was a narrative study of three key figures who created the da'wah ecosystem at Universitas Negeri Semarang. The results showed that the enthusiasm for preaching has gained momentum since the strengthening of the role and physics of mosques in all faculties in Universitas Negeri Semarang. The existence of the mosque gave birth to prominent figures, created a routine of preaching moderation, as well as eliminating the seeds of radicalism and intolerance in the campus environment. Furthermore, authors also provide suggestions for higher education leaders and the government (Kemendikbud) as the regulator of higher education in Indonesia.

Sorong serah aji krama is one of the processions in the marriage custom of the Sasak people in Padamara Village, East Lombok, which is still preserved today. This study aims to explain the implementation and meaning of Islam in the sorong handover aji krama procession. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to the perspective of symbolic interaction through a case study research design. The results of this study revealed that there are Islamic meanings in sorong serah aji krama such as being a leader, close relations between religion and customs, husband's responsibility, affection and courtesy. The symbols in this procession are also seen in its implementation, each part reflecting self-awareness and the role of the family as heirs of values. This tradition also displays a close relationship between culture and religious teachings for the Sasak people in West Nusa Tenggara. This research has implications for the internalization of Islamic values in culture. thus strengthening the relation between religion and culture in the theological and sociological scope.Sorong serah aji krama merupakan salah satu prosesi yang ada dalam adat pernikahan masyarakat suku Sasak di Desa Padamara Lombok Timur yang masih dilestarikan sampai saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang cara pelaksanaan dan pemaknaan secara Islam pada prosesi sorong serah aji krama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif desktiptif perspektif interaksi simbolik melalui desain penelitian studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini terungkap bahwa terdapat makna secara Islam dalam sorong serah aji krama seperti menjadi pemimpin, hubungan erat agama dan adat, tanggung jawab suami, kasih sayang serta sopan santun. Simbol yang ada dalam prosesi ini juga terlihat dalam pelaksanaannya, setiap bagian mencerminkan adanya kesadaran diri dan peran keluarga sebagai pewaris nilai. Tradisi ini pula menampilkan keterkaitan yang erat antara budaya dan ajaran agama bagi masyarakat Sasak di Nusa Tenggara Barat. Penelitian ini berimplikasi terhadap internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam budaya. sehingga memperkuat relasi agama dan budaya dalam lingkup teologis dan sosiologis.

Abstract The mission of the spread of Islam in Lombok was previously carried out with da'wah including an approach that was given a touch of cultural aesthetics, such as the Nyaer oral tradition that still survives today. The formulation of this research problem is how the dynamics of social behavior as a reaction to the Nyaer tradition? and what is the role of the Nyaer tradition in community life? This study identified the role of Nyaer as a media for cultural propaganda in Lombok. The existence of this tradition is then analyzed in the role angle in social life. Interesting in this article when analyzing the role and moral messages contained in the tradition of the real life is the potential to be preserved. The role is not only as a medium of cultural preaching, but also as an educational medium and contains entertainment value in the vision of virtue. Radio Dakwah Hamzanwadi (RHN) in the vortex 4.0era is still a mass communication media that channels ideas and information in the form of sound in a public and open manner, in the form of regular and continuous programs. RHN as the main optional community in absorbing the information and religious knowledge. This study uses a qualitative method of phenomenological type by collecting observation and documentation data. The substance of this research focuses on RHN programs and content as broadcasting media in NTB. RHN can be polarized as an Islamic media by paying attention to the substance and broadcast programs that are carried out continuously, such as Islamic programs through regular morning recitations at the Al-Abrar Mosque, Khiwar Mustasyar programs, reading the Hizib Nahdlatul Wathan, and also the general recitation of Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) Dr. KH. Muhammad Zainul Majdi, M.A becomes the main broadcast after each subuh and magrib prayer.

This study aims to determine the involvement and role of ulama in preventing early-age marriage in West Nusa Tenggara. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the type of library research. Data collection techniques using the literature review through various references related to research. The results of the research through a literature review are looking at government programs such as those related to early-age marriage, then the stakeholders involved are not enough from government agencies only. It’s also important the involvement and role of ulama as role models for the community in suppressing cases of early-age marriage through da'wah communication activities and forming special guidance and assistance programs for parents and adolescents regarding the negative impacts on early-age marriage.

Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi telah membawa berbagai dampak dalam kehidupan manusia. Terutama bagi generasi muda yang lahir dan tumbuh dalam perkembangan teknologi. Kemampuan membaca generasi internet (net generation) perlu diarahkan pada pemahaman terkait informasi digital dan pemanfaatan berbagai platform media digital. Literasi digital merupakan kemampuan atau keterampilan seseorang untuk memahami dan menggunakan informasi dari berbagai sumber digital. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi literasi digital generasi muda melalui pelatihan literasi digital. Kompetensi pelatihan literasi digital yaitu: pertama, kemampuan mengakses dan memanfaatkan jurnal serta buku elektronik; kedua, kemampuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa informasi yang benar atau palsu (hoax); dan ketiga, kemampuan membuat konten positif. Adapun hasil dari pelatihan literasi digital menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kompetensi peserta pelatihan dari yang sebelumnya kurang memiliki kompetensi (37%) menjadi memiliki kompetensi literasi digital yang baik (72%). Capaian dari kegiatan pengabdian ini sesuai dengan tiga kompetensi yang diharapakan. Jika kompetensi ini dimiliki, maka konten positif bisa disebarluaskan kepada khalayak di media sosial.

Keberadaan Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) di suatu Institusi atau perusahaan sangatlah vital termasuk dalam membangun brand maupun citra internal (corporate image). Banyak lembaga yang mengalami permasalahan internal maupun eksternal bahkan sampai mengakibatkan ‘gulung tikar’ atau kebangkrutan. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah komunikasi yang kurang romantis dan tata kelola yang tidak terencana dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahap komunikasi dan manajemen yang dilakukan oleh Humas UIN Mataram dalam membangun brand dan citra. Melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, data dipaparkan secara natural sesuai fakta lapangan. Adapun hasil penelitian bahwa meminjam teori Cutlip, Center dan Broom kami membaca tahapan komunikasi dan manajemen yang dilakukan melalui empat tahap yaitu pertama, defining problems melalui penyerapan saran dari berbagai pihak sebagai bentuk assessment. Kedua, tahap planning and programming yang dilakukan adalah pemilihan duta dan membangun relasi. Ketiga, taking action and communicating adalah komunikasi dan sosialisasi prestasi maupun kegiatan kampus melalui berbagai platform media sosial. keempat, Evaluating yang dilakukan sekali setahun pada akhir tahun akademik.

The image of political actors and political parties is deemed good or bad when obtained by rising public opinion. Political communication skills are a difficulty, especially in the middle of digital disruption era. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature analysis. The result of the research is that public opinion is produced from the consumption of speech that is witnessed, including the political concerns they witness. The importance of preserving public opinion is a prerequisite for political actors and political parties to attain a common vision and objective. This has been demonstrated by public opinion, which believes that the president of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, is rumored to be a communist. Public opinion is like a wild ball; if it is not managed, it will be harmful. The case turned out to be not only fake news because it was not founded on empirical facts, but it was also suspected that the matter was rolling because of political objectives.

Various internal challenges need organizations or firms to make double efforts as problem solvers, including resolving corporate image concerns through various public relations methods within the company. This research mixes qualitative approaches with a library research methodology. The data suggest that public relations can make numerous attempts to construct a business image and generate public opinion under environmental conditions. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in collaboration delivers benefits to the company and the society, which is the goal of public relations activities. The strategies carried out are also extremely diversified, including structured operations such as managerial functions from describing problems to evaluating them, as well as building communication and improving relationships internally and externally. This competence makes public relations a field of work that conducts professionally.
