This study aimed to analyze the two-year performance of the group "SumberRezeki" in Tinabogan village using financial analysis. The research used profitability ratio and liquidity ratio methods. The profitability ratio usedwas the ratio of gross profit margin (GPM), net profit margin (NPM) ratio, return on investment (ROI), and return on equity (ROE) ratio. The liquidity ratio used wascurrent ratio (CR), quick ratio (QR) and cash ratio (CR). The results of the analysis showed that the overall profitability ratio of the business is efficient indicating that it is in a good performance interpretation. Although there is a decrease in ROI and ROE generated in time series of 2015 and 2016, the ratio of industry is still above the average suggesting that the business performance is good. Similarly, the liquidity ratio is liquid meaning that the business is able to pay its short-term debt on time. Keywords:Agroindustry, liquidity ratio, performance and profitability ratio.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the density and diversity of spores of arboscularmycorrhizal fungi (AMF) inrhizosphereof five crops. The method used in this research was exploratory descriptive. The sites of soil samples taken were done purposively around the rizhospere of the plant selected.  Soil analysis and spore observations were conducted in the Laboratory of Soil Science and in the Laboratory of Agronomy of Faculty of Agriculture of Tadulako University, respectively. Higher number of spores was found in the rhizosphere of soybean and only a few numbers in cassava rhizosphere.  Low soil pH, P-total and C-organic tend to lower the number of spore living around the crop rhizosphere. The morphological characteristics of the spores found included sphere, ellipse, and oval, while the color comprised of brown, dark brown, transparent, yellow and brownish yellow.  The size of the arbuscular spores ranged from 63 – 250 mm. Keywords: Arboscularmycorrhizal fungi, crops, and rhizosphere.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the agriculturalbasis sub-sector, to analyseagricultural specialization sub-sector, to analyseagricultural sub-sector performances, and to determine priorities of agricultural sub-sector development. Data analysis tools used in this research were location quotient (LQ) analysis, growth ratio model (MRP), overlay, shift share Esteban Marquillas (SS-EM), and sectorial typology. The contribution criteria in the LQ analysis show that cropshave become agricultur albasis sub-sector.Based on the growth criteria, the analysis of MRP produces positive growth rate on crops, forestry and logging sub-sectors.  The overlay analysis shows that the food cropshavebecome the agricultural basis sub sector. The analysis of SS-EM indicates that only food crop sub-sector has competitive and specialized advantage in Parigi Moutong district. The sectorial typology analysis suggests that the priority agricultural sub sectors belong to food crops, horticulture, forestry, and fishery whereas the potential sub sectors are plantation and agricultural services.  Livestock is a developing sub sector.   The food crops sub sector is the main priority in the agricultural sector development in Parigi Moutong district because this sub sector contribute largely to the agricultural sector and it has positive growth, specialization and highly competitive in both district and province levels.  It is also the priority sub sector with higher contribution to Central Sulawesi development. Keywords:Agricultural sub-sector, basis sector, contribution, and growth rate.

Abstract

Mangosteen (GarciniamangostanaL.) is Indonesia's flagship fruit commodity which is widely distributed in Central Sulawesi with high export value and very potential to be developed into superior export commodities. Central Sulawesi has good mangosteen production potential, but it is still on the scale of house yard.  Thus, to increase the potential of mangosteen production, it is necessary to provide selected trees which can be used as seed sources. This research used survey and direct descriptive method, and data obtained was analyzed using cluster analysis. The research was conducted inPamona and Tendeadongi villages, Pamona Utara sub-district, Poso District. The analysis of mangosteen leaf anatomy was carried out in the Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tadulako. This study was conducted from December 2016 to February 2017. The results of cluster analysis showed that there are three different accession groups in either village.  The groups in Pamona village were PM4, PM7 and PM3 whereas in Tendeadongiwere TD15, TD1 and TD13. The combined accession between mangosteen of Pamona and Tendeadongivillage areconsisted of four different accessional groups represented by PM3, TD1, TD13 and TD15.Keywords: Anatomy, cluster, mangosteen, and morphology.
