Abstract

The water supply trend to decrease of quantitatively and qualitatively, meanwhile the water demand,therefore problem to manage of water resources exist. This phenomenon also happened at PaluGroundwater Basin Central Sulawesi Province. Distribution of groundwater are spatial and temporalcausing the water supply requirements for domestic in Palu City is not all fulfilled. This study aimed toanalyze groundwater potency zone based on the quality criteria.The research are laboratory analysis for groundwater quality and spatial analysis for distribution ofgroundwater quality. The research evaluation are hydrochemical for drinking water. The research methodsfor sample base : SNI. 6989.58: 2008. ICS 13.060.50 the methods of groundwater sampling. The researchevaluation based on analyzing chemical parameters: pH, TDS, Fe, Mn, Cl, NO3, NO2, and SO4.The research finding that spatial distribution of groundwater in east and west Palu Groundwater Basin withlimit Palu River. The analysis result of chemical parameters for drinking water based on Permenkes.No.907/MENKES/SK/VII/2002, that the potential level of groundwater quality in good class and can be usedfor drinking water

Abstract

Good Refrigeran and used many up to last some years is the refrigeran from halokarbon group, specially CFC ( Chloroflorocarbon) And HCFC ( Hydrochloroflorocarbon). But in the year 1974 Rowland and Molina draught tell its hypothesizing which express that chlorine the refrigeran have potency ozone layer coat ( ODP = Ozone Depletion Potential) so that can destroy ozone coat as well as owning global(GWP warm-up potency = Global of Warming Potential). Abstract

Water availability for various need are decreasing qualitatively and quantitatively, while on the other hand, water demand is increasing, thus, water management problem always occurs. This phenomenon is also found at Palu Groundwater Basin, Central Sulawesi Province, especially at Palu City. The distribution of groundwater potential, which has the spatial and temporal characteristics, caused insufficient domestic needs at Palu City. Thus, according to the problem, the research objectives to analyze groundwater potential based on groundwater characteristics on each hydromorphology units.The research method is survey method as a basis for spatial and ecological analysis, with landform and geology condition as a basis to determine groundwater sample point. Data analysis method in this research consists of: the analysis for field data and analysis for hypothesis testing. Field data analysis consists of technical analysis to determine hydromorphology units. Hypothesis testing analysis are done according to research objectives based on spatial and ecological analysis, and integration of geomorphologic and geologic approach.The result of the research shows that: groundwater potential level based on groundwater characteristics are at alluvial plains hydromorphology unit in Alluvium and Pakuli Formation, which distributed from high – medium. The research findings shows that Palu Groundwater Basin are one of the groundwater basin in Palu Basin, formed due to geological structure (Palu Graben), the Palu fault (sesar). The inflow boundary is located at east and west of Palu River, which is from bent slope of structural hills, the Gawalise Mountain and Tanggungguno Mountain. Abstract

The Old City of Donggala is a historical part of the city wich has very special colonial character. As such, it is a very valuable asset for the city, not just because of its buildings and artifacts but also because of its infrastructure. It has been designated as a main priority area for revitalization. It is a pity, however, that this priceless gem has been neglected for quite a long time, and its vitality is diminishing if not dying. Today the Old City has lost most of its function as the center of Donggala.The involution (due to poor urban development manage-ment practices) which forced the central business district to move from the old city to other part of the city has caused the decline of the area. This is market by the process of resident and business flights. The strategic importance of the Old City for economic and mixed-us function has gradually been diminished. Most of the land-use and space-use has changed. Some buildings have become storehouse , while others have been completely abandoned. The decline of the Old City made it lost it prestige as a place for offices, shops, cafes and other commercial activities as it was in the past. As business activities have dropped, so has the revenues coming into the area.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the effect of compressor pressure ratio with respect to performance of refrigeration system that is used refrigerant R 141B with water cooling on evaporator and condensor. The performance of refrigeration system is represented by heat transfer on evaporator and condensor.This research used experiment method. The result of this research indicates that is no effect of compressor pressure ratio to heat transfer on evaporator, on the contrary there is increasing compressor pressure ratio due to decreasing of heat transfer on condensor

Abstract

The main problem in designing construction structure on soft soil is a considerable large deformation, therefore in this research light material is used that is styrofoam concrete to replace landfill in raft footing so the deformation can be reduced. The percentage styrofoam used in concrete miixture are 40%, 60%, 80% dan 100%, then the deformation form caused by construction weight is analysed using Plaxis sofware version 7.0 with soil model Mohr-Coulomb at three soil water surface condition, they are in very deep water surface, in foundation base and on soil surface. The research result shows that the large the total construction weight, the larger vertical and horisontal movements happened. For styrofoam concrete with the percentage of styrofoam 100% the vertical movement is the opposite direction with other material-fills, because the total weight of construction is lesser than excavated soil weight at 2,45 meter deep.
