Abstract

Abstract: Palembang has been known as a center of maritime Malay - Javanese kingdom since the mid- 17th century AD which has the legislation " Simbur cahaya " breath of Islamic law , has grown even Palembang Darussalam Sultanate and established as a center of Islamic studies and Malay literature ( 1750-1820 ) after the decline of Aceh. At the time of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I (1724-1757) , Sheikh appeared Syihabuddin bin Abdillah, as a translator and pensyarah book " Jawahir al-tawhid ", and the period of Sultan Ahmad Najamuddin I (1757-1774), Fakhruddin Pack arose as a writer and translator book " treatise fi al - tawhid " , while Sultan Mahmud Bahauddin period (1774-1804) was born Shaykh al-Falimbany Abdusshomad as the author, and no more. Conditions such as supported by a wealth of natural and human resources . Palembang as a center of Islamic studies in the archipelago which bears some leading scholars until the early 19th century AD, has been attacked, occupied and colonized by the British since the year 1227/1812 to 1816. Subsequently moved into the hands of the Dutch . Resistance to foreign imperialism continued through the war berkobarnya sabil until 1821. Penjajahan can destroy potential Muslims. As a result, many al- ulama and santri Falimbani fall as Martyrs ' hereafter. Some scholars al- Falimbani appear later generations, diantaranta Shaykh Muhammad Azhari ( SMA ) al-Falimbani ( 1811-1874 ). Year 1255/1839 SMA al - falimbani back to Palembang from the land of Hijaz. Then back to Makkah and make up the book of monotheism titled " Athiyaturrahman fi Aqo idyll of Faith " in 1842 . Year 1261/1844 he married Miss Zaliha binti Demat Wirolaksana. After being in-law Jaya Demat Lieu. He returned to Makkah. In this paper the author will reveal patterns of thought Aswaja contained in the manuscript. The methodology used to approach literary study; This method is similar to qualitative research methods , because it prioritizes explanation , description and analysis of an event or process activity. The method also includes documentation; Explores all types of data. The techique in collecting the data by using; observations, interviews, and documentary studies. Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to find out whether there was a significant difference between reading comprehension ability of students who were taught by using Herringbone technique and those who were taught by using the traditional approach. The method used was experimental method.  The instrument for collecting the data was a reading comprehension test.  It was given to subjects before and after the experiment.  The subjects chosen for this study were 40 second year students of SMU Bhakti Ibu 1 Palembang.  They were divided into two groups : experimental  and control group. Based on the findings, the results of t-test and interpretations, the following conclusions were drawn : (1) Herringbone technique was applicable to improve students’ ability in reading comprehension, and (2) there was a significant difference between reading comprehension ability of students who were taught by using Herringbone technique and those who were taught by using the traditional approach.  It was evidenced by the calculation of t-test. Keywords : herringbone technique, reading comprehension ability

Abstract

Abstract: In  Ogan Ilir in South Sumatra about Century XIX and XX century there are many scholars who contributed to the spread of Islam. How to spread Islam is quite diverse, including through educational institutions, itinerant preaching, and the construction of a mosque, which served as the center of Islam. In the spread of Islam is not the least constraints faced by the propagator, in this case, mainly from the invaders, both from the colonial Dutch and Japanese. However, the efforts in spreading Islam and it still continues to concentrate more on education. Abstract

Abstract This paper will discuss the tradition of Tabot in the month of Muharram in Bengkulu. This study will use the post-structuralism approach which it is more likely as a critical attitude or approach that focuses on three aspects (abstraction, representation and interpretation). The theory will be used is Jaques Derrida's deconstruction theory. Deconstruction method is the hermeneutic method of deep suspicion, and then prove the suspicion of the existence of things that are not true, through deconstructive criticism. How to analyze the assumptions that in the text as well as the logic of thinking (logocentrism, binary opposition). Through the deconstruction of the binary opposition,it is indicated untruth thinking that the binary opposition as the concept of the real oppositional equal and mutually implicate each other. Sources written in Archiv fur Ethnographie Internationals are DDE Schmelltz, Bandle I in 1888, the Dutch colonial Orientalist imagery written about Bengkulu Society, which constructed as adherents of Shia Islam spiritualism, with analysis that ritual tradition in memory of the death of Hasan and Husain, a grandson of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, it will only be carried out by the adherents of Shia Islam. Abstract

Abstract: The term conflict comes from the Latin verb configere meaning “hit” each other. In the process development, the word configere adopted into the English language, that is conflict, which adopted also in the Indonesian language, meaning konflik. Experts have suggested a variety of definitions of conflict, the definition has different terms although essentially the meanings are the same. Abstract: Figure of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II ( SMB II ) is widely known especially after he was named National Hero and painting his picture made picture at Rp 10,000 bills by Bank Indonesia is the year 2005 , apparently the picture above just imagination . Was created as one of the requirements to be the leader of the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate was awarded the title of national hero . Masterpiece of a painter Palembang . SMB II , Born in Palembang on Sunday night , hours 9.00 ( 1 H Rejeb 1181 / February 9, 1768 AD ) . He 's boyhood named Raden Hasan bin Soeltan Moehammad Bahaoeddin , later designated as the heir to the title of Prince of Palembang Sultanate Queen . After he was crowned the Sultan of Palembang on December 22, 1218 H Zulhijjah dated 4 April 1803 coincided title of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin the Queen or the Prince  known as SMB II . Abstract: Library as a source of information (resource center) is a very strategic place in the dissemination of information. Reciprocation of an organization is influenced by the applied management, especially top managers factor. Selection of top managers should be based on good managerial skills within the organization, so the important thing is the ability (capability) not on anything, so everyone has the right to occupy that position. With the expected capabilities of the organization will be able to run properly in accordance with the vision, mission, and programs that have been implemented. This is in accordance with a saying that we have to determine the position of a person according to his ability.

Abstract

Abstracs:This paper aims to explain the importance of pragmatic areas to be studied in the development of teaching materials, the teaching of linguistics. To that end, I began this paper with a discussion of the linguistics understanding, pragmatics understanding, briefly explain topics development, and, by looking at the difference in studies with another fields in linguistics, showing the importance of pragmatics.The experts define the term pragmatics differently. Pragmatics grows from four trends or tradition, namely: (1) the tendency of insyntaxsism, (2) socio-critical tendencies, (3) the philosophical tradition, and (4) ethnometodology tradition. Topics include discussion of the pragmatics; they are speech acts theory, cooperative principles, implicature, relevance theory, and the theory of politeness. In conclusion, I see the importance of pragmatics in linguistics at least two things: first, pragmatics is the only level in linguistics which studies language by taking into account also users and secondly, relates to the inability of syntax and semantics to explain the phenomenon of the use of everyday language, I concluded that semantics and pragmatics look at the position as two complement each other. Furthermore, with regard to the teaching of language, pragmatics plays a role in the development of communicative competence. Key words: Teaching Materials Development, Pragmatics, Linguistics

Abstract

Abstract  Islam, the civilization of any kinds are becoming (manifestation) of faith and righteous deeds of man in devotion to God Almighty. Islamic civilization in enforcing not only looking at one side of the life of the world with a rich culture to advance the achievement of civilization, but also pay attention to the principle of the pursuit of happiness, by providing a way of teaching moral and civil life which in view of the diversity of the world. In the formation and development of Islamic civilization, it can not be separated from the foundations of the Islamic civilization instructions, namely: first, the Qur'an and the Sunnah, the second, the Islamic community and the third, Opener road to the other party. In addition, the Islamic civilization has certain characteristics, traits and characteristics, which different from other civilizations. These characteristics, namely universality, monotheism, balanced and moderate, and a touch of character. With these characteristics of Islamic civilization, it can be accepted in various parts of the world. Finally, this article will explain the process of entry and spread of Islamic civilization to the Malay World, which is through the process of trade, marriage, politics and others. Abstract

Abstract:This paper describes the study of the history and development of the Sammaniyah tarekat, that appear in Palembang, accompanied by the leader of Sammaniyah in Palembang. This study is interesting in view of the lack of accurate and valid references on the development of the Sammaniyah in Palembang. It is brought by one of the famous scholars Palembang, namely Shaykh 'Abd al-Samad al-Jawi al-Falimbani. The tarekat is becoming very famous in Palembang people with various religious rituals, which  are performed at the Great Mosque in Palembang and religious social life of everyday people of Palembang.  Keywords: -path for mystics to follow, -Sammaniyah, -Palembang.
