Abstract

This study tried to determine the effect on quality of life Facebook and students' academic achievement. A total of 210 samples were taken from three universities with proportional multistage random sampling method, while data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with software lisrel 8.80 (student version). The results showed, although according to the investigators alleged that Facebook had a negative impact on quality of life, but the effect was not significant. This is evident from the t value of -1.90 (less than 1.96). Similarly, the structural equation generated, quality of life and Facebook together provide significant influence on academic achievement (with values of t are respectively 0.69 and -0.92). Abstract

The study was based on concerns about the condition of the political dynamics in Indonesia, particularly in relation to the political awareness of the young generation is minimal gain in political education. This research aims to know how the implementation of political education in schools to increase the political consciousness of students. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive methods of analysis. Data and information gathering techniques used include the study of documentation, interviews, and observations. The results showed that the school as an important component of education, can basically be used as a medium of political education to inculcate and establish the nation's growing political awareness generation, through various forms of educational programs through both political education, student council and extracurricular activities as well as other forms of activities planned incidental or intending to provide political information to students. Abstract

Karakter obyek matematika bersifat abstrak, sehingga untuk mengurangi kesalahpahaman dalam pembelajaran adalah melalui pemanfaatan media pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pembelajaran memungkinkan siswa untuk aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan kertas warna sebagai media pembelajaran untuk memvisualisasikan diagram venn dan konsep kompilasi dalam pemecahan masalah Matematika sehingga dapat meningkatkan prestasi siswa pada semester II Tahun Akademik 2010/2011. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan dengan prosedur siklus. Ada tiga siklus dengan dua kali pertemuan di setiap siklus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 23 siswa. Mereka adalah siswa kelas 7B SMP N 3 Banjarnegara. Data diperoleh melalui observasi guru dan aktivitas siswa, wawancara dan hasil tes. Analisis data dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa; Penggunaan kertas warna sebagai media pembelajaran untuk memvisualisasikan diagram venn dan penyusunan konsep untuk memecahkan masalah matematik. Bahkan dengan media itu mampu: (1) meningkatkan prestasi siswa (2) meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Meningkatkan hasil tes siswa mulai siklus I adalah 5,56% dan dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah 9,26%. Meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa naik rata-rata 26,33% termasuk a) persiapan studi b) aktivitas siswa c) diskusi d) melakukan kerja tim e) menjawab pertanyaan f) menulis g) perilaku tidak relevan ketika pembelajaran mengalami penurunan sebesar 17,39% Kata Kunci: visualisasi, masalah pemecahan, hasil temuan Belajar, diagram venn

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the history of the subject matter contained in the curriculum social studies textbooks in 2013, the dominant type of media that the material on the history of class VII social studies textbook curriculum 2013 and the suitability of the material history of instructional media are implemented in social studies textbook curriculum 2013. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis of exactly which studies document. The results of this study indicate historical material Class VII social studies curriculum in 2013 that is dispersed in the Subject “Social Life in the Future Praaksara Indonesian Society, Hindu-Buddhist and Isla”, “The Factors that Influence Social and Cultural Diversity” , and “contacts with the state another”. In Class VII social studies book historical material, the dominance of media images are quite striking, reaching 90 % , the rest is history map media. Textbook curriculum developed in 2013, when viewed from a number of emerging media support has been quite a lot of text. This is certainly related to the philosophy of the curriculum in 2013 where learning begins from the concrete toward abstract, so that the role of the media in the learning process and the learning support facilities such as text books is very important to realize. Despite of media analysis in textbooks, media availability is quite good, but the creativity of the teacher in a more varied use of media is necessary. Abstract

Group field tour methode by Brain Symphoni Technique Investigate how the advantages of implementation. To get the goal the reseacher used Quasi experiment by giving pre test and post test to two different classes as experiment and control class. In experiment class is given the reatment but control class is not. Based on that fact, the problems as follow (1) Is there any difference between creative student used group field tour methode by Brain Symphony technique and not? (2) Is the usage group field tour methode significant by Brain Symphoni thechnique in Creative Literature Writing. The technique is using Quasi experiment methode. Student used this methode is increasing the competence in short story. It showed by pre test and post test comparasion. In post test the score is significant comparated to control class. The control class is increasing too but it is not as big as experiment class. Key word: group field tour, literature learning.

Abstract

Basically, the duty of Indonesia teacher is not only to deliver a group of materials need to be mastered. But, it is also their duty to make the students accustomed to use Indonesian correctly. This article discusses about the trouble faced by Indonesia teacher in teaching activity. At least, there are 5 trouble faced by teacher in lesson teaching, they are (1) Indonesian teaching materials which are too complicated, (2) dynamic language development, (3) the influence of native language, (4) lack of attention from other subjects, and (5) imbalanced between teaching process and real life. These troubles can be solved through some steps, such as the simplification of Indonesian teaching materials, the function firmness between the usage of standard and non-standard language,hold continuous language construction, support from oher subjects, and support from other various social stratum.
