Abstract

This research explains the Bali Provincial Regulation Number 4 of 2019 in providing legal protection for the power and authority of traditional villages in Bali. The scientific framework used in this research, are the concept of Legal Protection in the context of rights and powers, followed by a study related to the Bali Provincial Regulation Number 4 of 2019. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative by presenting secondary data sources. Based on this, the authors get the results that the existence of the Bali Provincial Regulation Number 4 of 2019 has given recognition, strengthened the role, and position of traditional villages in Bali. The powers and authorities of customary villages protected in the regulation are; management of the territory, carrying out development, resolving customary cases including carrying out customary law, and carrying out awig-awig or customary village regulations.

Abstract

Identity crisis is the main source in most of social conflicts in south Africa. Forms of social conflicts like race conflicts and xenophobias become barriers for social cohesion building process in South Africa. As an effort to build social cohesion, South Africa Government use national identity to boost its social cohesion. World Cup 2010 becomes platform for the government to utilize national identity as tool to boost the reconciliation process in South Africa soicety.Indicators that forms the social cohesion can be seen through three atributes that build social cohesion, those are inclusive identity, trust, and cooperate for common goods. Through this research, author will discuss about how the South Africa Government utilize national identity to build social cohesion during World Cup 2010 event. Therefore, author will use the concept of social cohesion and national identity theory to describe the government method to utilize national identity to build social cohesion.

Abstract

This study reconstructs the reality behind women's empowerment by PT Yakult Indonesia Persada Kandis District Region. This empowerment is done by employing housewives as Yakult Lady. The Yakult Lady system is to sell Yakult products while promoting a healthy lifestyle. Based on field observations, researchers found a different reality from Yakult Lady's work. There are subtle exploits that are not visible in Yakult's communication with the Yakult Lady. Yakult utilizes the psychology of current workers who do not need to be rewarded with money but with appreciation or flattery through euphemisms for the words they communicate. This form of distribution of exploitation is a new capitalism in Indonesia. Through the critical theory of Max Horkheimer and the theory of social construction of the target group, Anne Schneider and Hellen Ingram obtained research results that the Yakult Lady is empowered and exploited at the same time.

Abstract

hisstudyaimstodeterminetheconflictofcommunityresistancetolandacquisitionagainst the construction of reservoirs in the village of Rendubutowe. This study uses qualitative research methods using a qualitative descriptive approach, data collection using observation techniques, interviews and document studies of informants in this study, namely village heads, traditional shops, community shops and youth shops, natives of Rendubutowe village. The results of this study indicate that the people of the village of rendubutowe reject the location of the lambo reservoir construction because the location is a place for the community to meet their daily needs. In this location there are agricultural gardens, traditional ceremonial lands, livestock fields, ancestral graves, and there are some houses of residents of Malpoma Hamlet, Rendubutowe Village. Until now, conflict resolution has not found a common ground between the community and the government because the community still refuses to build the Lambo reservoir. Abstract

Penelitian ini berusaha melacak dan menguraikan masuknya ekspansi sawit di Papua hingga menyebabkan konflik tenurial yang berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat adat di Papua. Perspektif ekologi politik digunakan untuk meninjau pandangan masyarakat, pemerintah, dan perusahaan dalam memaknai alam. Penulis menggunakan metode feminist research untuk menempatkan objek kajian setara dan menciptakan keberpihakan terhadap subjek yang didominasi dan dieksploitasi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat ekspansi sawit besar-besaran sejak tahun 1980-an dan menyebabkan deforestasi lahan, diskriminasi masyarakat, serta konflik berkelanjutan yang menambah catatan buruk masuknya sawit di Papua.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the changes in the tourism context in the commodification of the mekotek tradition into fragments of the mekotek dance in the Munggu Traditional Village. The theory of the determining elite by Keller is used to analyze the determining elite in the change of the mekotek tradition into fragments of the mekotek dance. By using qualitative methods through interviews with the Bendesa Adat Munggu, Perbekel Desa Munggu, and Pokdarwis Desa Adat Munggu, the results of the research are as follows: First, the sacred tradition of mekotek is commodified into fragments of mekotek dance so that it can be sold to tourists. Second, the mekotek dance fragment was initiated and fully managed by the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) of the Munggu Traditional Village. And third, the income from the mekotek dance fragment is managed by Pokdarwis and then handed over to the BumDes of Munggu Traditional Village.

Abstract

The struggle of women in politics has gone through a long process. After struggling to overcome gender. Now the discourse of women in politics shifts to present women in quantity. This study aims to find out how the political marketing strategy of female legislative candidates is with a case study of Ni Made Rahayuni's victory in the Tabanan DPRD Pileg 2019. Success in political events is certainly inseparable from the political strategies used by candidates. Adopting concepts from political marketing theory. By using qualitative methods through interviews, the results of the research are as follows: First, through political marketing directly to the public, the use of mass media, and third parties. Second, where the women's programs offered play a good role in political marketing as a product and a promotional tool. Third, beauty efforts to be in the spotlight in the future can become a political marketing strategy that led Mrs Ni MadeRahayuni to win the event.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to explain the refusal made by the residents of Luwuk and Lengko Lolok Village towards the presence of limestone mine in 2020, rejection from local residents causes conflicts between fellow communities as well as the government. This study uses conflict theory using descriptive qualitative research methods to describe the reasons for the rejection and the actions and conflicts that occur. The result of this study found that: (1) management space for local residents field and gardes also disturbs their cultural order because this limestone mine devolpment plan requires local residents to relocate, (2) conflicts that accur are caused by differences in the apspirations of local residents who reject and accepted the presence of this challenge. The construction of this limestone could have been carried out of it did not relocate the village which caused local residents to lose their identiy as Luwuk and Lengko Lolok People. Abstract

Education is a right for all people in Indonesia which makes the next government responsible for the implementation of free education in their respective region. Indonesia is the third largest democracy after India and the United States. As one of the democratic countries in the world, the Indonesian state in determining state leaders, both those who sit in the executive and legislative institutions, uses an electroral system. Political recruitment organized by political parties gives freedom to all citizens who meet the requirements to participate in making choices in general elections based on the principle of direct public freedom and secrecy, as well as honesty and fairness.
