Abstract

The 2024 general elections will again use the mechanism of combining the legislative election period with the election of the President/Vice President for the second time after the 2019 simultaneous elections. However, based on the records and findings of the implementation of the 2019 simultaneous elections, the simultaneous model has shifted in the reality of substance in realizing regular leadership succession, as well as the praxis value in guaranteeing Article 22E paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution. The presence of complexity in the form of transactional violations between organizers; election participants; and prominent voters is an empirical instrument that has the potential to occur simultaneously in the implementation of simultaneous elections in 2024. With a research method conducted through a literature study and the perspective of The Fraud Triangle theory by Donald R. Cressey, this research seeks to find the potential for money politics in the 2024 Election which will be held in a simultaneous format by using the reality of the 2019 Election and the events that occurred in the 2024 Election stages as supporting instruments. Abstract

The facts in the data are that in every legislative election, people who do not exercise their right to vote are always there and tend to increase from every legislative election. According to existing data, the number of voters on the List of Potential Voters for the 2018 East Java Pilgub, for example, was recorded as being 17-25 years old, there were 4,927,761 voters With an explanation of the novice voters as many as 1,863,770 people abstain. From these data it can be seen, if there are many first-time voters who are indifferent to politics, it can be seen how many votes are wasted. David Easton revealed about the psychological model, where this model seeks to understand the behavior that suppresses the learning process with variables such as, Stimulant situations that evoke action in the environment. This view is often justified by data showing that relatively few young people join political parties. They also tend to choose to abstain in elections. However, a number of studies show that the previous view that the younger generation is not interested in politics is wrong. Abstract

This study wants to examine related to tourism development that occurred in Jatiluwih Village. This development is carried out to support the growth of tourism in Jatiluwih Village, to provide adequate facilities for visitors. However, since Jatiluwih Village is designated as a World Cultural Heritage (WBD), development in Jatiluwih Village continues to increase every year, this tourism development certainly reaps cons from various levels of society, especially farmers, because it affects water conditions and tourists who come actually damage the rice fields which it hurts farmers. Because of this adverse condition, it is a question of how the local government understands the contents of the UNESCO agreement, because with this title, the rice fields in Jatiluwih Village should be protected and preserved but in fact the opposite is happening, development continues and more tourists arrive. This tourism development that occurs can also be seen from the perspective of the community who actually supports the increase in tourism so that their income can increase which is useful for their welfare. So, this study uses the theory of Heritage to see the purpose of this tourism development and see the direction of tourism development that occurs in Jatiluwih Village and the responses and thoughts of the community. Abstract

This study aims to determine voting behavior in the state of Arizona in the 2020 United States presidential election. In the election process, what factors affect voter behavior in Arizona, basically there are many factors that can influence people's choices. This study uses the literature review method obtained from secondary data analysis. There are several findings as follows: Voter behavior in the state of Arizona in the 2020 United States presidential election is influenced by several factors including sociological factors, psychological factors and rationality factors. Abstract

Venezuela is a Latin American country with historically complex governance dynamics, ranging from coup attempts and authoritarian rule to economic and social problems. This study discusses the dynamics of the political economy under the leadership of President Nicolas Maduro and the policy steps taken to overcome problems of economic instability that lead to state destabilization. This paper uses descriptive research data collection techniques and library research. As well as using the Political System Theory (The Political System Theory) by David Easton to analyze the findings. In short, President Maduro's leadership tends to use organizational process models and organizational/party activity-based decision-making to set domestic and foreign policy directions. This is due to the strong influence of Maduro's supporters from the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), supporters of former President Hugo Chavez. It is said that Maduro was not involved in solving the Venezuelan crisis, even though he inherited Chavez's leadership style, which adheres to a socialist regime. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh politik masyarakat etnis Tionghoa pada pemilihan legislatif tahun 2019 di Kota Denpasar, dengan fokus pada kemenangan caleg Agus Wirajaya. Dengan menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dan metode deskriptif, data hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan sepuluh informan, antara lain Agus Wirajaya sendiri, tokoh masyarakat etnis Tionghoa, tokoh partai politik, tokoh pemuda, dan pemilih Agus Wirajaya, dianalisis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan masyarakat etnis Tionghoa dalam pemilu difasilitasi oleh persamaan hak politik bagi warga negara Indonesia. Selain itu, Teori Identitas Politik mengungkap signifikansi Primordialisme dan Instrumentalisme dalam politik identitas pada pemilu legislatif. Dukungan dari partai politik, keluarga, Kata Kunci : Teori Identitas Politik, Etnis Tionghoa, Pemilu Legislatif.

Abstract

Election Regulations was passed by the President on August 15 2017, this regulation contain various policies regarding the terms and conditions for holding elections. To Grindle Implementation of the policy is a general process of administrative action that can be examined at several program levels. Meanwhile, Van Meter and Horn argue that policy implementation is an action taken by the government and the private sector, both individually and collectively, to achieve a certain goal. Policy implementation does not always run smoothly, there are always pros and cons that come with it. Policies that are sufficient to generate polemics, one of which is the presidential threshold. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic spread very quickly, causing many fatalities, not only in Indonesia but in all countries in the world. Efforts to anticipate and mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic in each country are different. Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) is a non-governmental organization that is active in social humanitarian concerns and is one of the government's efforts to prevent COVID-19 from spreading more widely. By using a descriptive qualitative method, this study also tries to find out how the ACT policy is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in Bali. The results of this study indicate that this activity is carried out through the 4P stages which consist of Purpose, People, Process and Performance. One example of an activity as its implementation is the social humanitarian institution, the ACT Bali Foundation, which helps Balinese people affected by COVID-19 by raising and distributing direct assistance to residents known as “Bangkit Bangsaku Bangkit Baliku”. Abstract

This study wants explore examine how the phenomenon of MSMEs that occurred within Badung Regency, Bali. The Indonesian economy in the third quarter of 2020 contracted by 3.5 percent, better than the previous quarter which contracted by 5.3 percent. The improvement was driven by increased government spending, especially the realization of social assistance for the National Economic Recovery Program. the research approach used is a qualitative approach. As for what is meant by qualitative research, namely research that is written to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the research subject as a whole, and by means of descriptions in the form of words and language, in a special natural context and by utilizing various scientific methods The surge in the number of MSMEs in Badung occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic, because the tourism sector, which has been a livelihood, is not operating. At least, nearly 75 percent of the working-age population in Badung works in the tourism sector. When the tourism sector went dormant during the pandemic, new businesses emerged. Abstract

Gender and sexuality issues are currently still a concern not only in Indonesia, but in various countries around the world. According to Michael G. Peletz, women from various social classes are involved in political, economic, and religious changes which are characterized by underlying similarities and forged in cultural practices, identities, and subjectivity. The process of gender bias from historical times, the old order, the new order, reforms, until now continues to experience changes in form. Gender relations become unbalanced due to patriarchy. Currently, the term is used to refer to male power, to power relations, where men are at a higher level than women, and is a feature of a system in which women continue to be degraded using many means, one of which is sexual harassment. Patriarchal culture that is not addressed wisely in the modern era is now a problem because there is an ambiguity of meaning in society about catcalling as a joke or sexual harassment, especially against women.
