Abstract

Electrical circuit instruction in aviation vocational education faces persistent challenges, including limited laboratory infrastructure, conventional teaching methods, and low student engagement. This study developed an instructional module based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL), integrated with a Learning Management System (LMS) and mockup trainers, using the ADDIE model through its Analysis, Design, and Development phases. The module comprises a semester learning plan (RPS), LMS-based digital content, practical mockups, and rubric-based project assessments. Expert validation confirmed the module’s technical feasibility, media quality, and pedagogical relevance, with scores of 83% from the electrical engineering expert, 80% from the media expert, and 85% from the instructional technology expert. These results affirm the module’s readiness for implementation in vocational education. The study underscores the value of contextual digital instructional design in bridging theory and practice, enhancing student motivation, and fostering industry-relevant competencies.

Abstract

The problem of monthly electricity bills in Indonesia is often a hot topic among the public. Some of the problems with electricity bills that are often complained about by the public include: The increase in basic electricity rates by the government or PLN (State Electricity Company) is often the main complaint. This increase can have a significant impact on people's monthly expenses. Many customers feel that their electricity bills do not match their actual usage. This can be caused by uncontrolled electricity usage or devices that consume more electricity than expected. There are cases where errors in electricity meter readings occur, either due to human error or damage to the meter. This error can result in electricity bills that are higher or lower than actual usage. Some customers feel they do not get clear information about the details of their bills. This lack of transparency can lead to distrust of PLN. Several additional costs such as administration fees, late payment fees, and other costs can add to the burden on monthly electricity bills. Based on the above problems, we built a Smart Precision Electric platform system based on IoT and Artificial Intelligence as a Predictive Model for Electricity Bills. The system we built is able to predict next month's electricity bill and identify the electronic devices that contribute the most to that cost using the integration of the Internet of Things Platform and Artificial Intelligence.

Abstract

Ensuring client satisfaction is a crucial aspect of the aviation industry that determines the success of airline operations. To retain and attract customers, airlines must provide services that encourage loyalty and appeal to potential passengers, such as those of Garuda Indonesia Airlines. Several factors influence customer satisfaction, including ticket fares, service quality, and baggage handling. This study aims to examine the extent to which these three variables affect the satisfaction levels of Garuda Indonesia passengers departing from Juanda International Airport, Surabaya. A quantitative strategy was used, and information was gathered using a Likert-scale questionnaire. After removing outliers, 96 valid responses were analyzed. The three variables have a considerable impact on passenger satisfaction, as demonstrated by the regression analysis’s 90.8% Adjusted R Square result. In comparison, the remaining 9.2% is explained by additional elements not covered in this research. The results are expected to serve as recommendations for evaluating and improving Garuda Indonesia’s service performance at Juanda International Airport. Overall, this research contributes to enhancing airline strategies aimed at maximizing service effectiveness, strengthening competitiveness in the aviation sector, and expanding academic understanding of the connection between flight fares, service quality, baggage handling, and customer satisfaction.
