This study aims to analyze the development of sustainable business models in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kualuh Hulu District, North Labuhanbatu Regency, using the Maqashid Sharia approach. Maqashid Sharia, as a conceptual framework in Islamic law, focuses on five main goals: safeguarding religion, soul, intellect, heredity, and property. This research uses a qualitative method. The results of the study show that most MSMEs in Kualuh Hulu have not fully implemented sustainability principles in their business operations. The analysis further identifies several inhibiting and driving factors in the implementation of sustainable business models that are in accordance with Maqashid Sharia. This study suggests several strategies to develop sustainable business models for MSMEs based on Maqashid Sharia, such as capacity building through training and mentoring, strengthening sharia-oriented business networks, and developing products and services that meet sustainability and sharia standards. Thus, it is hoped that MSMEs in Kualuh Hulu District can increase competitiveness while contributing to sustainable economic development and in accordance with Islamic principles.

Abstract

One popular technique for financial decision-making is the moving average cross. This indicator provides signals about future stock price movements. However, the accuracy of this indicator's signals will be evaluated specifically on banking stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Thirty Indonesian banking companies listed on the main trading board in 2026 were selected as the research stocks. A purposive sampling procedure was used to select the research subjects, with issuers on the main board having assets exceeding 100 billion Rupiah and having been listed on the market for at least three years. Issuers on the main board are considered large issuers and can attract investors' attention. The signals provided by the 30 research subjects will then be tested using logistic regression techniques using SPSS. This approach works well for research using moving averages that have been converted into dummy data. Statistical test results indicate that the moving average cross movement is insufficient to decide which banking stocks to purchase; only 46.67% of the signals from the moving average move in accordance with the signal. More comprehensive indicators in technical analysis can be added to the analysis to make decisions and pay attention to the fundamental level of the emiten.

The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 1,211 data processed from 243 companies. Data processing was performed using panel data regression assisted by the e-views application version 10. The results showed that the five independent variables and three control variables used had no significant effect on audit delay, while the audit committee meeting variable had a significant positive effect on audit delay. The implication of this finding is that it is necessary to organize more effective and efficient audit committee meetings so as not to hinder the audit report process which can extend the audit delay that occurs.

Abstract

The growth of digital startups in Indonesia is increasing, particularly through burn money strategies to accelerate market acquisition. However, implementing this strategy often challenges financial stability, especially for startups with limited access to funding, such as those in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province. This study aims to analyze the impact of burn money strategies on the financial performance of digital application startups in NTB. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through in-depth interviews and observations of three startups that apply this strategy. The findings show that burn money strategies boost user growth and competitiveness and create significant pressure on liquidity and cash flow. Successful startups practice disciplined financial management, limit expenses, and regularly evaluate their strategies. On the other hand, startups that are too aggressive without solid financial planning struggle to sustain long-term operations. This study emphasizes the importance of innovation, good governance, and structured financial and risk management in maintaining the sustainability of startups in the digital era. These findings provide valuable input for startup actors and stakeholders in designing sustainable growth strategies.
