Abstract

Generally, vehicle service is a must for the vehicle owner. However, due to tight work routines, people often forget to service their vehicles. In addition, the service process is still using a manual system, such as taking a queue number which leads to the long queue of the service time. An Android-based Motorcycle Repair Shop Information System provides a solution to remind people to do a regular service on their vehicles with a reminder feature and make online bookings.  The system development uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method. The implementation process requires an Android smartphone and a computer device by using MySQL as data storage, Firebase as a notification sender, React native and Visual Studio Code are used for developing the system. The results of the UAT test (user acceptance testing) from 20 users show 55,8% answered agree to the display, features and flow of the system, 39,5% answered strongly agree to the three question parameters, and 4,7% answered disagree with the flow and display of the system.

Abstract

An assessment of the success of a college is if the student's graduation rate is on time and high every year. The timeliness of students' graduation can be influenced by several factors. This study aims to determine the profile of the students who graduated both on time and not on time given a certain graduation predicate set by the institution and to know the factors influencing students’ gradution. The model used in this study using the NBC to determine the graduation pattern and the Decision tree to determine the influencing factors. In calculating the NBC algorithm using rapidminer, it was found that the profiles of students who graduated on time and late with the predicate of less satisfactory, satisfactory, very satisfactory and cumlaude. In the Desicion Tree calculation, the highest gain values are obtained in the IPK3, IPS1 and IPK2 attributes. This research needs to be developed further by increasing the number of attributes and data, and it is necessary to make a system to determine the accuracy of students’ graduation from the patterns that have been produced so that it can help universities to increase the level of students’ graduation every year.

Abstract

Cybercrime on Internet that keeps increasing does not only take place in the environment that running web applications traditionally under operating system, but also web applications that are running in more advance environment like container service. Docker is a currently popular container service in Linux operating system needs to be secured and implements incident response mechanisme that will investigate web server that was attacked by DDoS in fast, valid, and comprehesive way. This paper discusses the investigation using Grr Rapid Response framework on web server that was attacked by DDoS running in container service on Linux operating system, and the attacker using Windows oprating system that runs DDos script. This research has succesfully investigated digital evidence in the form of log file from web server running on container service and digital evidence through netstat on Windows computer.

Abstract

Parents' concerns in terms of monitoring the presence and monitoring of children's activities become one of the problems that are often faced. Training children to prepare themselves to face this sometimes dangerous world, first develop a sense of security in themselves. The objectives of this research are to generate a system or application to track the whereabouts of children through smartphones that can be used by both parents of the child and to design devices that can be used practically and children can be traced to the presence of wireless media by their parents. Improved supervision of children is needed without reducing the freedom of children to learn and explore their environment. One alternative that allows tracking the presence, location, and accuracy is quite good is to use a Geo Positioning System (GPS). This GPS is packaged in a flexible form so that it can help make it easier for parents to supervise their children in the range of areas that are still accessible to them and find the child's position when separated from their parents. The system can send the location information of children who are lost or lost on smartphone applications used by parents.

Abstract

Childbirth is the last stage before the infant comes into the world. There may be incidents that could cause death in the process of childbirth for mothers and infants. Lack of knowledge and attention to the labor process can increase maternal mortality rate. Maternal mortality rate in Indonesia was recorded at 190 per 100,000 live births on 2015. The figure is still far from the fifth Millennium Development Goals target of 102 per 100,000. The increasing development of technology in health informatics to provide health care more effective can be used to help overcome the problems of pregnant women. To reduce maternal mortality rates, a web-based expert system is perfect one for use. Naïve Bayes method is a simple, fast and high accuracy method. Forward Chaining method is a inference method that performs a fact or statement that starts from the condition (IF) then to the conclusion (THEN). Based on analysis of the method obtained with 233 patients data on childbirth process using expert system, the Naïve Bayes method has accuracy in diagnosing by 90,987124463519% while Forward Chaining method accuracy is 86.69527897%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to make comparisons on the internet network using the application of the Burst method and processed with Quality of Service analysis in which there are parameters of throughput, delay, and jitter. This analysis was carried out because there was a problem with a slow internet network. This happens because there is no configured bandwidth management on the Microtic router and also the unequal distribution of bandwidth when more and more bandwidth users. Burst is one of the bandwidth management methods available on the Microtic router. This study focuses on the implementation of Burst which is applied to one client2 and will be compared with client1 without the application of Burst. Quality of Service analysis is performed to test the parameters of throughput, delay, and jitter on each of the internet networks. After this test is complete, it shows that the results of using the Burst method as a bandwidth regulator, internet network access can be controlled and each client gets the bandwidth evenly as needed. The work result using Burst is more optimal than performance without using Burst. By using Burst the number of packets lost and failed transactions is reduced by more than 70%.

Abstract

The information technology systems are developing faster; one of its developments is a system to process the recording of sales data (Selling System). To support the selling process in Ali Cycle bicycle shop, which previously done manually, it needs a system to record the stock of goods, transaction, supplier, and sales report. There is a lot of model in building the system, one of the model is traditional development model, generally, the phase of this model is never-ending related to system problems or bugs, sometimes bugs are not found in the development but comes after practical use begins. A Point of Sale (POS) system with Test Driven Development (TDD) method has been built in which a test is written before the coding phase in a purpose of the codes, which are created, has passed the test, reducing the bug and it tests the system. The results show that all codes have passed the test; the test consists of 89 functions and 397 statements. Evaluation results of end-users testing showed that the majority of respondents strongly agree and agree with a system with an average rating of 94% for performance, 89% interface and 83% user satisfaction. The conclusion is, building a POS system using TDD method succeeded by producing a useful system as the requirement and expected system quality.

Abstract

Work From Home (WFH) is an activity that is carried out at home with the flexibility to work both place and time with the help of telecommunications technology. The birth of WFH was caused by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, which forced all activities in various fields, including government, business, trade, education, and so on, to be carried out online through the use of technology. One thing that is affected is in the field of education, the teaching and learning process must be carried out online. The problem that occurs is the unpreparedness of the infrastructure and resources in the smooth running of the distance learning process. One of the steps to provide convenience in the distance learning process is to innovate in the field of technology by creating an Android-based M-Learning application with an interactive concept so that it not only provides simple learning but is also designed attractively and interactively so that student participants can interact directly with this M-Learning application. Interactive M-Learning applications are designed with UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling and translated into applications using Adobe Flash and then implemented on Android mobile devices.

In the last decade, object detection is one of the interesting topics that played an important role in revolutionizing the presentera. Especially when it comes to computervision, object detection is a challenging and most fundamental problem. Researchersin the last decade enhanced object detection and made many advance discoveries using thetechnological advancements. When wetalk about object detection, we also must talk about deep learning and its advancements over the time. This research work describes theadvancements in object detection over last10 years (2010-2020). Different papers published in last 10 years related to objectdetection and its types are discussed with respect to their role in advancement of object detection. This research work also describesdifferent types of object detection, which include text detection, face detection etc. It clearly describes the changes inobject detection techniques over the period of the last 10 years. The Objectdetection is divided into two groups. General detectionand Task based detection. General detection is discussed chronologically and with its different variants while task based detectionincludes many state of the art algorithms and techniques according to tasks.
