Abstract

The problem in this research is how the preparedness of UPTD staff of Health Crisis Center (P2KK) of Aceh Health Office in facing earthquake disaster. This study aimed to analyze knowledge and attitude, policies and guidance, emergency response plan, and strategy of resource mobility of UPTD P2KK staff of Dinas Kesehatan Aceh in handling earthquake disaster in Aceh. This research uses descriptive research method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. This research uses primary data and secondary data. Population used in this research is all officer UPTD P2KK Dinas Kesehatan Aceh. Samples were taken as many as 54 people in Sampling Population. Data collection was done by documentation study, interview study, and distribution of questionnaires distributed to all field officers UPTD P2KK Dinas Kesehatan Aceh using the formula of percentage. The results will be analyzed univariat to know the level of preparedness of UPTD P2KK staff of Aceh Health Office in the face of earthquake disaster. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the preparedness of UPTD P2KK Dinas Kesehatan Aceh in coping with the earthquake disaster in Aceh is in ready category. Therefore, staff capacity building is still needed such as training and simulation of earthquake preparedness and sustainability and reinforce each other in 7 sub-clusters of health that are currently active so that UPTD P2KK staff of Aceh Health Office are more competent in facing what happened.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the perception of society on the function of mangrove forest in the effort of disaster risk reduction. Perception is an internal process that allows us to face the environment, so the impact of disasters can be minimized. This research uses both qualitative and quantitative methods. Sources of data in this study consisted of primary data (field research) and secondary data (library research). The results of data analysis describe the perception of the community on the function of mangrove forest in the effort of disaster risk reduction from Gampong Pande Kota Banda Aceh and Gampong Lamteh, Aceh Besar District, with the number of respondents as many as 50 people. Community knowledge about the function of mangrove forest is very good. The community motivation of Gampong Lamteh in the management of Mangrove Forest area is good, while the people of Gampong Pande are very good. With a high level of motivation will affect the attitude and encourage the community to participate in maintaining and preserving the mangrove forest, this is visible from the attitude of both community of gampong to the conservation of mangrove forest which is very good, this means that both community of gampong involved in efforts to maintain and preserve the mangrove forest. Thus, people in Gampong Lamteh and Gampong Pande have a perception that mangrove forests are a common property so they feel entitled and responsible in managing and maintaining the sustainability of mangrove forests. The level of public perception of the mangrove forestsfunction is in the category of good and very good. The community understands that mangrove forest has many functions (ie compound function) as eco-tourism / ecotourism (social function), preventing flood / erosion (ecological function), place of income (economic function), and other functions.

Abstract

Capacity Improvement of Local Quick Reaction Team (TRC) to improve technical and managerial capability for Quick Reaction Team Regional members, as Quick Reaction Team is the spearhead in the implementation of tasks in emergency disaster management. The purpose of this research is to know the Role of Quick Reaction Team of Health Service Unit of Port Health Office (KKP) of Class III of Banda Aceh on early response of emergency response of earthquake disaster victims. The research design used a qualitative approach with data collection method in Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and observation result in the field. The sample in this study is the rapid response team of health service unit KKP Class III Banda Aceh as many as 9 people (Total Population), research has Was conducted at KKP Class III of Banda Aceh on March 31st to April 21st 2017. The results showed that the role of fast response team of KKP Class III Banda Aceh health service unit in providing health service in the early response of evacuation of earthquake victims, among others, And treatment, while counseling delivered at the time of earthquake disaster one of them is the material of clean and healthy life behavior, meanwhile the information conveyed got from coordination with various sector. Understanding of the source of danger and its potential to the community should be intensified by holding it thoroughly and involving all parties, so as to increase public awareness of the earthquake hazard, and need more accurate coordination between each stakeholder in the handling of disaster victims either in one region or between Region

Abstract

Management of coastal and marine resources in Aceh, especially in Gampong Lambada Lhok, Aceh Besar District recognizes the existence of local wisdom values in the community's sustainable life. This study aims to (1) document the values of local wisdom that is closely related to the management of coastal and marine resources in Gampong Lambada Lhok, Aceh Besar District, (2) analyze the sustainability of capture fisheries in the management of coastal and marine resources based on local wisdom in Gampong Lambada Lhok, Aceh Besar District. This research uses content analysis method (qualitative and cuantitative method) and RAPFISH method (survey method and study of literature), using questionnaire as data collecting tool. Respondents consist of: Panglima Laôt Aceh, Head of Marine and Fisheries Aceh Besar District, Panglima Laôt Aceh Besar District, Panglima Laôt Lhôk (each subdistrict), fisherman (handline and gillnet) boat owner, pawang and community motivator. The results show that (1) the local wisdom values contained in the management of coastal and marine resources in Gampong Lambada Lhok, Aceh Besar District are (a) the day of abstinence of meulaôt; (b) the existence of custom meulaôt; (c) the existence of social and economic customs of fisherman. (2) The sustainability of capture fisheries in the management of coastal and marine resources based on local wisdom in Gampong Lambada Lhok, Aceh Besar District shows; 5 (five) dimensions of sustainability (ecological, economic, social, technology and institutional dimensions) only 4 (four) dimensions are on the sustainability index, except for 1 (one) dimension ie technology that is in index less sustainability

Abstract

The earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Aceh in 2004 became the highlights for the world community. Its cause many tourist to visit directly, how effect of disaster. Tsunami museum is icon of Aceh’s Tsunami became purpose for half of tourist to know about earthquake and tsunami that occured in 2004 ago. In this reasearch, analysis effect of visiting tourist to Aceh Tsunami Museum on their knowladge about earthquake and tsunami disaster, and also about Aceh image tourism, strategize  and recommendation to develope Tsunami museum tourism, Aceh. This reasarch in descriptive which as population is tourist, who visiting to tsunami turism at Banda Aceh, an quantity of sample is 80. The result, that knowladge on earthquake and tsunami Aceh can improved by visiting Aceh Tsunami Museum. Its positive side for tourism, site of Aceh Tsunami Museum clearly  and nearly, because it on the spot disaster, so level knowladge more accurate. Beside, majority of respondend has satisfied  on visiting Aceh Tsunami Museum, so it can be said that aceh image tourism is good. Then, condition of Aceh more great and gracious to visiting also make them comfortable to travelling, and recommendation tourism to visit again for herself or others.Keywords : Tourist knowledge of disaster, Aceh Tourism Image, and Aceh Tsunami Museum

Abstract

Mesjid Raya is an area that is potentially to landslide or soil movements, particularly at Mesjid Raya Aceh Besar District of Aceh Besar. It is in the yellow zone which is a susceptibilityzone of ground movement, an areas that have a low level of susceptibility of ground motion. This study aims to determine the level of preparedness of women, indicators of preparedness, and the strategy of the women at Kampung Persahabatan Indonesia Tiongkok Desa Neuheun, Mesjid Raya district, Aceh Besar. This study uses a quantitative approach and that is also supported by qualitative. A quantitative approach will be carried out using a questionnaire to obtain the efficient data and qualitative approaches will be implemented using the method of observation, interviews and simulation of landslides. The result showed that women Kampung Persahabatan Indonesia-Tiongkok have not prepared for landslide from education, emergency management, early warning, simulation, preparedness,coordination, risk assessment, information management, resource mobilization
