<![CDATA[Political participation is the manifest of people power, however there’s a declining trend of voters in the previous elections. This study is aimed to examine relative contribution of personal values and internal political efficacy toward political participation. Subject of research is 231students from four faculties of Islamic State University (UIN) Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, registered and becaming a novice voter in the election of 2014. The result of the regression analysis between Personal Values (X1) and Internal Political Efficacy (X2) collectively together against participation in Political Participation (Y) is resulted F = 17,809 in the significancy level (p) = 0,000. It shown that Personal Values and Internal Political Efficacy simoultaneously have significant effect toward student’s political participation .]]>

<![CDATA[Basically each person has different character strength in achieving the goal expected. The character strength becomes a typical structure of an individual's personality that distinguishes itself from the others. Individuals with high achievement motivation will attempt to set a specific goal, using some strategic measurements, highly will-power, and always worked hard. This study aimed to explore the character strength of students who are excellence in academic. The method used mix method which are combine both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The numbers of subjects in this study were 30 students from 9 faculties in UIN Sunan Gunung Djati whom selected based on the highest GPA score. The character strength had seen from the individually measurements results of the Values in Action-Inventory strenghts (VIA-IS) which consists of 240 items in the form of scale Likert. Interviews with subjects than have been conducted to gained more information related to the character strength of them. The results has showed that a strength of character typical of the outstanding students, namely Hope, Perseverance, and Spirituality.]]>

<![CDATA[The core issues have been examined in this study including the relationships of the teacher’s involvement in decision making, interpersonal communication, and work motivation of the BPKB teachers in Gorontalo Province. This study used survey method with correlation techniques. The sample was the whole population of the 47 teachers by using total sampling or sample saturated. Based on the analysis of data concluded results namely 1) there is a positive relationship between teacher’s involvements in decision-making with the work motivation. 2) There is a positive relationship between interpersonal communication and the work motivation of teachers, 3) There is a positive relationship between involvement in decision-making and interpersonal communication simultaneously on the work motivation of teachers. These results indicated that the higher of teachers’ involvement in decision-making and interpersonal communication, the work motivation is increasing.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose ofthis study was totest the relationshipbetween thedegree ofreligiousityandthedegree ofsexual activity among late-adolescences. The research design usedwasa quantitative using correlational analysis. The sample was30late adolescentsinthe Southarea ofSurabayawhich wereselectedusing purposive sampling. The subjects of this research were adolescents of aged 18-21 years old, were in/had been in a relationship with another person, lived in South Surabaya, were at Senior High School or University, and were willing to participate in the study. The data were collected using religiousity and sexual activity questionary that were developed by the researcher.Hypothesis was tested using statistical technique Phi correlation coefficient.To know the significant level of correlation analysis result of 0,79, Chi-Squre (X2) was converted with a significant level of 5% , the value obtained was 3.84. Based on these result it can be seen that the Chi-Squre (X2) value of 18.7 is far above the value of theoretical Chi-squre, of 3.84 (5%). From the data in Chi-Squre (X2) crosstab that degree of religiousity have a negative correlational with degree ofsexual activity.]]>

<![CDATA[Academic procrastination particularly happens to college students who are working on their thesis is assumed to be influenced by the attitude of their perfectionism. The purpose of this study is to determine how perfectionism has influence on the academic procrastination of the students who are doing thesis at the Faculty of Psychology UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The study had conducted on the population of students who are working on a thesis in total 38 people. The design used was a non-experimental design with causality method. Measuring instruments used the Almost Perfect Scale Revised from Snaley (1992) and Procrastination Student Assessment Scale developed by Solomon and Rothblum (1984) with some adaptations. Technical analysis of the data using simple regression analysis with the result that the determination coefficient of influence perfectionism to academic procrastination is R2 = 0.065. The results of the t test, t = 1.582 < table = 1.684, so it can be concluded that there is no significant effect of perfectionism to the academic procrastination of students who are working on a thesis.]]>

<![CDATA[The objective of this research is to know the learning process to increase elementary student outcomes in social science study through the cooperative learning and whether there was an increase after the action. About 20 students of School Laboratories, State University of Gorontalo were the subject of research. The research used action research method with data collecting technique including field notes, interview, documentation and observation. The result of the research describes that the cooperative learning in social science study gives impact for increasing social science learning of elementary school proved by increasing of score test average by 85% and the result in observation showed by 80% from the total number of student.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aimed to explore the events that experienced and made the teens happy. The survey method was conducted with a total sample of 51 boys and 159 girls of high school students in Pekanbaru City. The instrument was an open-ended question and the data processed by descriptive analysis. Based on the research results, the three major components that events make teens happy namely (1) Relation by 55.7% includes events related to parents, family and peers. (2) Personal affective by 34.7% of the events associated with the opposite sex, affection, the psychological benefits, hobbies, etc., and (3) achievement by 24.7% includes events associated with achievement, graduation, ability to complete the task, and satisfactory result.]]>

<![CDATA[Elephantiasis or Filariasis has been reported endemic in Kabupaten Bandung with potentially result in defects. This research aimed to explore health psychology of chronic Elephantiasis patients in Kabupaten Bandung. Qualitative-descriptive method has been used to explore the respondent’s psychodynamics, health behavior, and treatment seeking behavior, while quantitative-descriptive method has been used to determine the percentage distribution. The result showed that there were three kind of respondent’s psychodynamic namely denial (7.7%), anxiety (85%), and depression (7.7%). Due to the lack of knowledge about the disease, the majority of respondents (77%) were hiding their disease.Type of treatment seeking behaviors has been chosen by respondent namely relying to the paranormal (92%), doctors (23%), traditional physician (54%), and acupuncturist (15%).]]>

<![CDATA[This research aimed to obtaining empirical data on relationship between future orientations of working area with achievement motivation among student of psychology faculty UIN SGD Bandung class of 2001. Research design was a correlational study. The result shown there was a positive correlations between future orientation of working area and achievement motivation. It means that student who optimism on future orientation of working area so their achievement motivation increasing, in reverse, if student future orientation working area pessimism so their achievement motivation decreasing.]]>
