Abstract

Ontologically, Gamal al-Banna viewed that interpretation is the process to understand the Koran. Therefore he did the deconstruction of classical commentaries domination which is loaded with influences of the political uproar in the past Middle East. From such a deconstruction, he went to the reconstruction of the Koran within the concept of Tatwîr al-Qur’ân. There is a dimension of art that must be understood from the essence of Koran and should be permeated by all Muslims. For him, the Koran is an art book, and its largest or greatest miracle is language as a tool to understand the art found within it. The secret miracle rises from the musical reading of the Koran which could be a psychological approach, just by listening the reading. Through this stage of irfani, the Koran could be the media of human civilization revolution. In his concept, Gamal didn’t assert one method or restrict to a current science or method. He refused if one current method has a warranty as the only way to find the truth, because the Koran itself should not be restricted

This theory is found when doing integration-author of the study interconnect traditions of the Prophet with the theory of communication semiotics Umberto Eco. Methods of understanding hadith contained in destination components that implement the method of unlimited semiotics to find the final logical interpreting. Abstract

The emergence of comprehension to back to the Koran and Sunnah in Indonesia is not only driven by the reality of Islamic beliefs which is mixing with other elements, but also caused by the system of understanding of Islamic teaching which are considered less precise. Call it like understanding the meaning of sunnah, ijtihâd, ittibâ‘, taqlîd, and others. Ahmad Hassan, a Muslim thinker who is affiliated to the organizations that called PERSIS, came up to take a role in the struggle of the above problems. Armed with a depth of knowledge, a breadth of knowledge and mastery of sciences, Hassan appeared to prove that the Koran and Sunnah has been more than adequate as a source of Islamic teachings without requiring additional elements. In this regard, it is important to listen to his ideas in the field of hadith as the second source after the Koran. This simple paper tries to capture the thought of Hassan’s hadith and his contribution to the development of hadith studies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Koran has condemned those who do not pay attention to abortion, and that the companions themselves often do not know or understand the meaning of different opinions in the words of God, so that from their early discussions have arisen in the interpretation of the Koran. Being an authoritative expert on the interpretation of the Koran is a noble task and position. As commentators not only to explain the verses are not clear, but also explain the law and all its consequences as the main guidelines of Muslims. But commentators are not as easy as imagined. There are conditions of knowledge and personality that must be met. This is important because the Prophet himself has given strict guidelines for those who want to interpret the verses of the Koran are not stuck on subjectivity and personal interests. This article tries to discuss the intellectual and personality prerequisites that must be owned by an interpreter as seen by scholars.

Activity of hadith external criticism (sanad) and also internal criticism (matn) is the obligation of the observers in order to put its existence together with the Koran as the base of religious argumentation. The process of criticism should be done, knowing that there is no guareantee of hadith which are up to the Muslims society categorized of accepted hadith. In addition to a wide variety of methods to criticize sanad, there are also various offers for hadith editorial criticizing. One of them is the science of mukhtalaf al-hadîth. The existence of this knowledge arises when doing data documentation (takhrîj hadîth) in the shade of the same-similar meaning. It will not be separated from the findings of controversial-looking hadith, and therefore the existence of such controversy should be sought in order to offer solutions with a strong suspect and also sort out the existing data to be placed in the proper position. Thus, this paper focuses on any viable solutions when dealing directly with the hadiths suspected controversial
