Abstract

Everyone who will convey Tradition of The Prophet (hadits) must check his integrity so that not everybody can convey hadits. Appearance fake haditses push hadits experts to specify a method for proving hadits authenticity, by checking sanad (the transmission of hadits) and matan (text of hadits). Sanad and matan are two fundamental elements on every Hadits. There is a very tightly bearing that cannot be disassociated between sanad and matan. One  saying can be called as Hadits, if founded the existence of transmission of rawi (transmitterr) which waschronically up to the first source (Prophet Muhamad). On the contrary, the network of carriers, though to Prophet, without existence of message (text) which informed can not be called as Hadits. Existence of method for proving hadits authenticity is expected to become reference for everyone wishing to convey hadits correctly.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the effect of maintenance model to the incidence of coccidiosis desease in Bali calves at Musi Village, Gerokgak sub district of Buleleng Regency. The study involved 42 Bali cattle which consisted of 21 cows and 21 calves of Bali cattle. Those animal stall were divided into 3 groups of P0, P1 and P2. P0 groups did not adopt a healthy stall structure or termed as traditional rearing, with poor sanitation. P1 adopted a stall structure with a healthy level of sewage treatment plants with less sanitation. P2 groups adopted stall structures and sewage treatment plants healthy with good sanitation. Observed variables were the number of coccidiosis cases in calves of each group. Result showed that the case of calf coccidiosis in order from the highest incidence was 85.71%; 57.14% and 0% at the P0, P1 and P2 groups, respectively. This study indicates that good stall management suppresses the case of bovine calf coccidiosis in Bali cattle.

Abstract

Self-sufficiency of soybeans and sugar is one of main targets of  the Ministry of Agriculture’s strategic plan in 2014. This government’s target may not be achieved due to the lack of land for cultivation. This research aims to analyze the efficiency of land use by using monoculture and intercropping methods for growing sugarcane and soybean. The results of experiment studies showed that the Land Equivalent Ratio (LER) between sugarcane and soybean has a value greater than 1in overall, indicating that the intercropping pattern is more efficient and productive than the monocultures cropping. The highest LER is VMC76-16+Kaba varieties intercropped, which is 2.21, while the lowest LER is intercropped PSJK922+Argomulyo, which is 1.41. Based on financial analysis, the highest NPV is Rp126,852,727,00, the B/C ratio is 2.56 for intercropping of VMC 76-16 + Argomulyo. Based on these results, the area of 64501.99 ha sugarcane in Central Java can potentially increase the soybean area 32250.995 ha and its production  56,700 tons per year.

Abstract

Simple photometric determination of silver was developped. The determination incorporated 2,4,5,7-tetraiodofluorescein (erythrosine) as chromogenic reagent to form positive colloid with silver ion, not ion associate as initially assume. The colloid was then stabilized with starch and this ternary system erythrosine-silver-starch was applied as basis in determination of trace amount of silver (0–6 µg/ml). The developped method was successfully applied to determine silver in three synthetic samples and came with accuracy > 96.87% after compared to atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) results and reproducibility < 8.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the satisfaction level of researcher candidate training participants. it will testwhether the variabels of perceived service quality, expectation, perceived value and LIPI’s image affect the participantssatisfaction. The model analysis refers to ECSI model (European Customer Satisfaction Indeks) adjustedto the approach of partial least squares path modelling. The result shows that there are only two variabels whichaffect significantly to participants satisfaction, namely the perceived service quality and perceived value. Theoverall of participants satisfaction level to the training is at 74.74%, which is considered “satisfied”.

Abstract

The load following operation is a mode of operation, where the power level of nuclear power reactor is adjusted based on the load fluctuation at the electric grid. The changes of power level cause unbalance in the reactor. In order to keep the stability of reactor, it needs a specific control method. Three control methods for the PWR type reactors were developed for that purpose. Each method was tested by a numerical simulation, respectively. Since these methods were tested separately, however, it is difficult to compare the performance of all methods directly using the same initial parameters and various standard power patterns. In this work, we developed the simple simulator to simulate the control methods of PWR during the load following operation. By using the standard daily power patterns, it was showed that the simulator could be used well and all results agree with the previous results of the three control methods above. By using the same initial parameters and power pattern, the simulator could directly show the characteristic, superiority and disadvantage of each control method, respectively.

Abstract

Utilization of FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC satellite data using GPSRO for atmospheric Precipitable WaterVapor (PWV) estimating has been done. This research analyzed comparison between daily PWV profile from radiosondeand GPSRO observations during 2007. Used radiosonde data were from obervation at Soekarno-HattaAirport, Jakarta. While GPSRO data were determined by finding the nearest occultation locations with radiosondelaunching in the same day. Extrapolation method has been applied for estimating data which were not recordedabove surface. Results showed before and after applying extrapolation method on GPSRO data, the linear correlationbetween PWV derived from both of observations technique are 0.657 and 0.849 respectively. Applicationof PWV from GPSRO was shown in hovmoller diagram during 2 January to 19 May 2011. The estimation duringthat period are between 10 to 55 mm, which described the existence of Madden Julian Oscillation. Hence, theseresults depicted that GPSRO can be utilized for PWV estimation that could be continued to enhance precipitationmodelling.

Abstract

Kemiri sunan (Reutealis trisperma) is a potential tree plant for biodiesel source. However, information related to phenotypic and genotypic variabilities of intra- and inter-populations is very lacking. This work aims to identify morphometric traits which show any differences among three populations of kemiri sunan as variety candidates, i.e. Banyuresmi, Cinunuk, and Padahanten. Thirty mature leafs and 30 normal seeds were randomly collected from each population. Morphometric characters observed were length and width of leaf, length and width of seed, seed weight, and kernel weight. Analysis of variance showed a high significant (p ≤ 0.01) in inter-populations differences for almost all characters observed, except for seed weight character. Leaf width has high value of broad sense heritability (H2), so that it should be used as the most valuable character for distinguishing among the three populations of kemiri sunan. Based on dissimilarity matrices analysis, Padahanten population showed the highest dissimilarity.
