Abstract

The study of Morphophonemic on Javanese of Banyumas Dialect is part of phonology and morphology. Morphophonemic process is the change processes of morphemic form in the process of morphologic, either affixation, clitich, composition, reduplication or internal modification. To answer the problems in this study, the writer uses the structural theory and qualitative descriptive approach. The result of the study shows that morphophonemic process in Javanese of Banyumas Dialect occurred on affixation and internal modification cause the process of phonemic as the change of phoneme, phoneme appearance, phoneme omission, and phoneme perpetuation. One of four kinds of phonemic processes that mostly occured in morphophonemic process is affixation and internal modification process seldom occured.

Abstract

The concept of leadership is not only useful for the leader but it is also useful for everyone who is led, meaning that by understanding the concept of good leadership, a leader will be able to do what he should do and how the follower should shows their loyalty and dedication to the leader. By using the leadership role contained in the Arok Dedes novel written by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, the objectives to be achieved in this study were (1) reveals patterns how Arok leads, (2) reveals leadership perspective of Asthabrata Arok, and (3) knowing the relevance Arok leadership in relation to the present leadership and the future leadership. The method used in the data collection is the literature study. The data analysis is carried out by reconstruction and reflection text (text meaning), then proceed with interpretation by evaluating the perspective of Asthabrata leadership and correlate the text with the concept of leadership in the future leadership. The result of the analysis shows that the leadership pattern of Arok reflects strong leadership and fairness. Arok leadership represents the leadership of Asthabrata. The character of leadership is very relevant to be applied in order to leading a nation in which experiencing a crisis of leadership like today.

Abstract

The Asymmetric leaves2 (AS2) gene is an important gene of a model plant, Arabidopsis thaliana, that involved in leaf development. To understand the molecular mechanism of leaf development in orchid, we transformed the AS2 gene into the Phalaenopsis amabilis orchid protocorms (developing orchid embryos). Agrobacterium tumefaciens LBA4404 that contained T-DNA with 355:: AS2 construct and pGreen vector were used for transformation. The-21-day-old protocorms that co-cultivated with Agrobacterium culture containing pG35S::AS2/LBA 4404 and pG35S/LBA4404 were maintained on 100 mg/1 kanamycin containing medium. The growing plants were selected as candidate of transformants. The putative transformants were analysed by PCR with a pair of AS2 gene specific primers (ORF15 F2 and ORF I 5 R2), that amplifying 600 by fragment of AS2 gene. The result showed that 79 plants out of 7966 protocorms transformant p35S: : AS2 and 64 plants out of 4622 protocorms transformant pG35S were kanamycin resistants, the efficiency of transformations were 0.99% and 1.38%, respectively. Phenotype characterization of the transformation showed that they produced various abnormal leaves shapes: oval (34.18%), wildtype-like (30.38%), rectangular (26.58%), lobed (3.80%), fused (2.53%) and trumpet (2.53%). These data indicate that abnormal shape of leaves might be due to the expressions of AS2 transgene in P amabilis.

Abstract

In order to implement the function of government, it is needed civil servants who have certain characteristics namely professional, aware and responsive. It is the fact that the function of government is less implemented. In this case, the role of leaders is really required to deal with these matters. The aims of this research are to explain the role of apparatus’ leadership in developing professional state apparatus, to identify the dominant factor, and to formulate a policy which is needed to develop professional civil servants. This study uses a qualitative method.Finding of this research shows that the role of new leader as a planner, teacher, and servant is less optimal. The main factor to realize such role is enhancing professionalism by developing competency of formal education and formulating career pattern development as well as enhancing discipline of civil servants.

Abstract

Bank is an entity that acts as a financial intermediary that puts the public funds entrusted to it, to be dis- tributed back to the community in form of loans, and the business world at large in form of credit. Outstanding funds through banks can be optimized to support the investment, which in turn encourages economic growth, and improves standards of living and equitable development. Therefore, the banking operations should be monitored closely by the stakeholders. The purpose of this study was to analyze the probability of bankruptcy of the banking sector and to analyze the relationship between accounting information in form of financial ratios (APB, ROA, ROA, ROE, LDR, NPL, ATTM, CAR, and NIM) to the probability of default (PD) by using KMV Merton. The object of this study is banks that are consistent listed in LQ 45 period 2009–2012 and issuing bond. The research result showed that the probability of bank failure from KMV Merton models give an indication of low level of bank failures with the highest rating of AAA, so PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk., PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, PT Danamon Indonesia Tbk., and PT BPD of West Java and Banten Tbk. are worth to be invested. The regression analysis of financial ratios can explain 88.44% in PD equation model. Based on the regression analysis performed, the independent variables in the regression have a significant effect on the dependent variable of the banks listed in LQ-45, which is the Operating Expenses to Operating Income (ROA) has a positive influence on PD and Against Capital Fixed Assets (ATTM ) has a negative effect on PD.

Abstract

The Lembang fault was located approximately 10 km to the north of Bandung City that crossed the Kecamatan Lembang City directe in east-west direction for 22 km length. The existence of this fault became very important because this fault crossed the densely-populated settlement and tourism area. Up to now, the level of the activity of this fault was still in matter of debate due to the insufficient of seismicity data and history resulted by the activation of this fault. One of the approaches to determine the level of the activity of the Lembang Fault is morphometry analysis. Paramater used to morphometry analysis comprise of ratio of valley floor width to valley height (Vf) and drainage basin asymmetry (AF). In addition to morphometry, sediment analysis sagpond also used to determine the fault activity. Result analysis of the two methods above, indicates that the Lembang an active fault with the movement down (normal fault).

Abstract

The calibration is important for many people as it can guarantee the traceability of measurement. Universalmeasuring machine is one of the coordinate measuring machine which is capable to calibrate the amount ofdimensional measurement standards, while, the UMM was calibrated by displacement laser interferometer. Inthe UMM calibration, cosine error was occurred, where the measurement result value is greater than the actualdimension value. The aim of this research was to reduce the cosine error in the UMM calibration using the DLIby adjusting the DLI optics. The results showed that the cosine error was decreased 10 μm compared to the 2006calibration data, and the uncertainty of measurement decrease of 61.5%.

Abstract

South Konawe is a regency in Southeast Sulawesi which is dominated by dry land around 42,151 ha. Out of this area, only 2,100 ha was utilized for soybean planting with yield of 1.051 t/ha. One of problems for this low productivity is not optimal use of the technology in terms of usage time of planting. From the analysis of the water balance sheet, it shows that the surplus occurs in January, March, April, May, June, and July. However, soybean can only be planted in May because it meets the water requirement for soybean that is 250–300 mm/month. On the other hand, deficit months occur in February, August–December.
