Abstract

Tujuan penelitian, mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas dan keterampilan menyusun teks cerita inspiratif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas IXB di SMP Negeri 1 Teras Boyolali tahun 2019/2020.  Subjek penelitian, siswa kelas IXB sebanyak 30 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen dalam penelitian tindakan kelas dua siklus. Hasil penelitian, aktivitas siswa pada prasiklus rata-rata masih rendah, siswa pasif, tidak berani bertanya atau menjawab pertanyaan. Pada siklus 1 mengalami peningkatan. Siswa lebih aktif,  lebih percaya diri.  Siklus II rata-rata lebih aktif,  berani bertanya atau menjawab pertanyaan, lebih percaya diri. Berarti terjadi peningkatan akumulasi klasifikasi aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada siklus II. Akumulasi klasifikasi penilaian keterampilan menyusun teks cerita inspiratif pada prasiklus,  siklus I, dan siklus II mengalami kenaikan yang berarti.  Pada prasiklus,  nilai tertinggi 80,  nilai terendah 40,  dan nilai rata-rata kelas 60.  Prestasi belajar pada siklus 1,  nilai terendah 46,  nilai tertinggi 86, dan nilai rata-rata 65,60. Hasil belajar siklus I masih berada dibawah KBM yaitu 68. Hasil belajar pada siklus II, nilai terendah 66, nilai rata-rata 79,13, dan nilai tertinggi 93. Pada siklus II terjadi kenaikan yang signifikan.  Berarti pada siklus 2 telah berhasil dengan optimal.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are (1) to test the effect difference of problem based learning strategies guided inquiry and modified free inquiry on student learning outcomes, to (2) test the effect difference early ability categories of high, medium and low student to student learning outcomes, and (3)  to test the interaction between early ability category strategy with high, medium and low student to student learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative with quasi experiment Desain. The population are all students of class VII MTs Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta. The research sample two classes. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling by lottery. Data collection techniques used cognitive testing and documentation. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance of two different cell. The results of the study with α = 5%. The results are (1) there are differences in the effect of problem-based learning strategies guided inquiry and modified free inquiry on student learning outcomes, (2) there are differences in the effect of the initial capabilities categories of high, medium and low student to student learning outcomes, and (3) there is no interaction between early ability category strategy with high, medium and low student to student learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi faktual tuntutan peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang didukung dengan pelaksanaan kurikulum tigabelas melaluimodel discovery learning materi bangun segiempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peningkatan prestasi belajar materi bangun segiempat melalui model discovery learning pada siswa kelas 2017/2018. Subjek dan sumber data penelitian adalah sebanyak 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes, sedangkan alat pengumpulan data menggunakan butir soal. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kritis dan komparatif. Indikator keberhasilan menggunakan ketuntasan belajar minimal (KBM) sebesar 65 dan target ketuntasan kelas 100%. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan siklus.Kemajuan prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika materi bangunsegiempat, pada kondisi awal rata-rata sebesar 60 dan siklus I rata-rata sebesar 67 serta siklus II rata-rata sebesar 80. Dari data ini, tampak jelas bahwa terjadi kenaikan rata-rata nilai dari kondisi awal ke siklus I sebesar 7 digit (12%), dari siklus I ke siklus II terjadi kenaikan sebesar 13 digit (19%), dari kondisi awal ke siklus II terjadi kenaikan sebesar 20 digit (33%). Nilai tertinggi prestasi belajar pada kondisi awal sebesar 72, siklus I sebesar 78, dan siklus II sebesar 92. Terjadi kenaikan nilai tertinggi dari kondisi awal ke siklus I sebesar 6 digit (10%), dari siklus I ke siklus II terjadi kenaikan sebesar 14 digit (18%), dan dari pasiklus ke siklus II terjadi kenaikan sebesar 22 digit (28%). Nilai terendah dari kondisi awal sebesar 50, siklus I sebesar 58, dan siklus II sebesar 70. Terjadi kenaikan nilai terendah dari kondisi awal ke siklus I sebesar 8 digit (16%), dari siklus I ke siklus II terjadi kenaikan sebesar 12 digit (21%), dan dari pasiklus ke siklus IIterjadi kenaikan sebesar 20 digit (40%). Persentase ketercapaian belajar diperoleh pada kondisi awal sebesar 24% dan pada siklus I sebesar 56% serta siklus II sebesar 100%. Prestasi belajar siswa dari kondisi awal ke siklus I terjadi kenaikan ketercapaian kelas sebesar 22%, dari siklus I ke siklus II terjadi kenaikan sebesar 44%, dan dari kondisi awal ke siklus II terjadi kenaikan sebesar 66%. Hal ini bermakna bahwa prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika dari kondisi awal hingga siklus II terjadi kenaikan yang signifikan. Dengan demikian, ditegaskan bahwa melalui model discovery learning mampu mengoptimalkan prestasi belajar materi bangun segiempat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is Contribution of work discipline, work motivation, and teacher perceptions about headmaster leadership style towards teacher performance at SMP N with National Standard School (SSN) Semarang. This study includes quantitative expo facto research. The population in this study were teachers at SMP N with National Standard School (SSN) Semarang counted 302. The samples in this study are 161 teachers obtained from the table that was developed by Isaac and Michael. The determination of sampling in this study uses with a sample random sampling. The data are collected by survey or questionnaire. Data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis of test preconditions data that is normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation test and test. The results showed: (1) there is a contribution to the discipline of work, work motivation and teacher perceptions about headmaster leadership style towards teacher performance at SMP N with National Standard School (SSN) Semarang, as shown by the acquisition of the F test with probability value 0.000 0.05. From the results of data analysis, the R2 value counted 0.429 it means that there are contributions of work discipline, motivation, and teacher perceptions about headmaster leadership style towards teacher performance at SMP N with National Standard School (SSN) Semarang counted 42.9%; 2) there is a contribution of work discipline towards teacher performance at SMP N with National Standard School (SSN) Semarang, this is indicated with the acquisition probability value 0.05 with the effective contribution counted 12.82%; 3) there is a contribution of work motivation towards teacher performance at SMP N with National Standard School (SSN) Semarang, it is shown by the acquisition probability value 0.05 with the effective contribution counted 12.86%; 4) there is contribution of teacher perceptions about headmaster leadership style towards teacher performance at SMP N with National Standard School (SSN) Semarang, this is indicated with the acquisition probability value 0.05 with the effective contribution counted 17.25% and the classical assumption test results showed that the regression model is not biased or problems of classical assumptions (normality, linearity, and multicollinearity) that could otherwise BLUE (Best, Linear, Unbiased, Estimator).

Abstract

Teaching reading comprehension to the students is not easy. The teacher often finds a lot of students’ learning motivation problems from the students. The students’ problems are (1) students’ interest, (2) students’ effort, (3) self responsibility activity or persistence, (4) students’ optimal experiences; (5) reinforcement and teacher's method. One of the efforts to minimize the problems is by empowering the students in the learning process. One of the teaching techniques that can empower learners is Reciprocal Teaching Method. An action research was carried out and aimed at finding out whether Reciprocal teaching can improve the students’ learning motivation in reading comprehension in classroom when the teacher applies reciprocal teaching. Two cycles are applied. The data are taken by observing the learning process when an action is applied, by interviewing the learners involved, by giving questionnaires and by conducting interview. The finding of the research shows that Reciprocal Teaching Method can improve the students’ learning motivation in reading comprehension when it is applied.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the increase in communication through demonstration play props in simple language skills development in children kindergarten Pertiwi Kalikotes Klaten Regency second semester of academic year 2014/2015. Subject and source of research data as many as 21 students. Data collection method used observation, documentation, and testing. Analysis of data using critical and comparative analysis. Results of research and discussion were that the data obtained from precycle until the second cycle, obtained progress learning achievement of children in learning through demonstration using props, on precycle average of 72 and the first cycle by an average of 76.5 and the second cycle mean average of 84. It seems clear that an increase in the average value of precycle to the first cycle of 4.5 figure (6.3%), from the first cycle to the second cycle there is an increase of 7.5 numbers (9, 8%), from the second cycle precycle to an increase of 12 points (16.7%). The highest value precycle stage at 82 and 86 as well as the first cycle of the second cycle of 92. It is clear that from the stage of the first cycle precycle to an increase of 4 digits (4.9%), from the first cycle to the second cycle an increase of 6 figures (7%), and from the second cycle precycle to an increase of 10 points (12.2%). The lowest value obtained precycle stage at 66 and 70 as well as the first cycle of the second cycle of 76. It can be affirmed that the step of the first cycle precycle to an increase of 4 digits (6%), from the first cycle to the second cycle an increase of 6 figure (8.6%), and from the second cycle precycle to an increase of 10 points (15.2%). Percentage from precycle was obtained by 29% and the first cycle was obtained by 57% and the second cycle of 100%. It seems clear that the step of the first cycle precycle to an increase of 29%, from the first cycle to the second cycle there is an increase by 43%, and from the second cycle precycle to an increase of 71%. Thus, the learning achievement of children in learning through demonstration using props from the second cycle occurred precycle to a significant increase.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe and analyze the implementation of the artistic supervision of Selojari 1 elementary school and to describe and analyze any obstacles faced in learning supervision artistict. Type of this research research is called qualitative research. The collection of data carried out by means of in depth interviews, observations, and use of documents. Data were analyzed with data reduction, data presentation, and draw conclusions. The result of this research showed that artistic supervision planning in Selojari 1 elementary school is to make an systematic artistic supervision format. Implementation of artistic supervision through classroom visits, observe teaching learning activities and also classroom administration aspec. Supervision carried out periodically. Implementation feedback artistic supervision carried out by the headmaster as supervisor by making a connection humanist, harmonious and appreciate the personal character and talents of teachers.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendiskripsikan perangkat pembelajaran RPP Matematika (2) Mendiskripsikan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran RPP Matematika berbasis Konstruktivisme, dan (3) Menguji efektivitas pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran RPP Matematika berbasis Konstruktivisme. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Teknik triangulasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dengan metode observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari dua komponen yaitu reduksi data dan penyajian data. Hasil dan pembahasan dari penelitan adalah (1) perangkat pembelajaran RPP Matematika yang telah diterapkan masih menggunakan RPP Matematika sekolah pada umumnya, pada kegiatan inti siswa belum maksimal membangun sendiri pengetahuannya untuk penemuan konsep baru, (2) pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran RPP Matematika berbasis konstruktivisme dengan desain pembelajaran meliputi 5 tahap yaitu: Orientasi, Eliciasi, Restrukturisasi Ide, Penggunaan Ide, dan Review yang diimplementasikan pada kegiatan inti, dan (3) nilai tes pemahaman konsep menggunakan RPP berbasis Konstruktivisme, nilai rata-rata kelasnya adalah 79,02 dari 70,00. Siswa yang mendapat nilai ≥ 75 ada 18 siswa atau 78,26 %. (KKM Matematika = 75).

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) investigate the curriculum planning of Assalaam Modern Islamic Boarding School Surakarta (henceforth MIBS) and its multicultural values; (2) understand the implementation of Assalaam MIBS curriculum and its multicultural values; (3) reveal the curriculum evaluation of  Assalaam MIBS and its multicultural values; and (4) search a model of curriculum development for multicultural Islamic Boarding Schools. This research produces 4 find- ings. First, closely investigated from multicultural perspectives, the curriculum planning of Assalaam  MIBS  includes  both  multicultural  values  (democratic  and  justice  values)  and  antimulticultural values (discrimination and injustice values). Second, in the curriculum implementation, both multicultural and antimulticultural values are exposed to students. While the values of democracy, solidarity, togetherness, love, forgiveness, peace and tolerance are embedded in the learning materials, activities, and evaluation, the values of discrimination and injustice are found in the learning references, available only for special service program as opposed to regular programs. Third, the curriculum evaluation contains multicultural values such as democracy, peace, tolerance, and togetherness particularly embedded in the processes and product of curriculum evaluation. On the other hand, conflict, hegemony and domination values are found in the interac- tion among students in daily school environments. Fourth, the model curriculum of multicultural Islamic Boarding School needs to consider three aspects: (1) the planning of the multicultural Islamic boarding school curriculum is determined by its process and product; (2) the implementation of the multicultural Islamic Boarding school curriculum is determined by the textbooks that contain multicultural values; learning strategies that stimulate students’ active participation in democratic and interesting learning activities; and evaluation of contextual and comprehensive learning results by making use of oral and written tests, portfolios, and assignments; and (3) the evaluation of the multicultural Islamic Boarding School curriculum is determined by its process and product.
