Abstract

Pada makalah ini disampaikan kajian mengenai redesain terhadap shelter bus Trans Jogja dengan pendekatan anthropometri dan aksesibilitas agar didapatkan fasilitas shelter yang mengakomodasi semua kepentingan (universal design) termasuk para penyandang cacat. Setelah dilakukan penelitian maka diperoleh rancangan ulang dimensi pintu masuk dan keluar sebagai berikut: tinggi pintu shelter 190,38 cm dan lebar pintu 118,9 cm yang sangat memungkinkan untuk penyandang cacat dapat masuk dan keluar dari shelter. Alat ticketing meliputi dimensi lebar portal alat ticketing sebesar 118,9 cm dan tinggi lubang tiket adalah 82,33 cm. Desain ramp yang didapat dari hasil perancangan adalah ramp desain bentuk S. Dengan pembagian menjadi 3 muka datar pada awalan atau akhiran ramp. Hasil perancangan tinggi dari sudut kemiringan ramp adalah 70 dengan tinggi ramp 85 cm dan panjang dari ramp 400 cm serta lebar yang disesuaikan dengan lebar kursi roda agar ramp lebih landai.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah  mengidentifikasi masalah diperusahaan tentang system penggajian karyawan yang paling efektif. Microsoft access merupakan salah satu program pengolah database yang cukup canggih, untuk yang digunakan untuk  mengolah beberapa jenis data dengan cara kerja pengoperasian yang  mudah. Dalam Microsoft access  tidak ada fasilitas kompilasi, karena itu tergolong pada kelompokinterpreter.  Program Microsoft access merupakan program yang bekerja windows. Dari  hasil perancangan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitianini memberikan masukan yang sangat berarti bagi manajemen keuangan.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to review the research on knowledge creation in small and medium industries, to identify gaps in research that exist today as the direction of future research. The study was conducted by reviewing systematically at 9 articles in the field of knowledge creation in small and medium industries. Area of knowledge management in small and medium industries are still very rare, especially in the measurement of output and outcome results from the process of knowledge creation. In the process of knowledge creation there have been several studies but still generally in the form of exploratory research. Research to measure knowledge creation process with quantitative methods still exist. This study only uses an article published in Inside Emerald alone so it can not identify the research in the field of knowledge creation in small and medium industries in full. However, this study has contributed in terms of the direction on knowledge creation in small and medium industries to do in the future. Based on the author's understanding there has been no systematic systematic literature review in this field, published in scientific journals.

Abstract

PT. Gudang Rabat Alfa Retailindo Solo merupakan sebuah usaha yang didirikan untuk memberi kemudahan dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perilaku sering beli dan jarang beli pada konsumen, mengetahui variabel bebas yang membedakan perilaku konsumen. Penelitian ini melakukan pengujian dengan model diskriminan, mampu atau tidak melakukan klasifikasi responden dengan tepat. Manfaat penelitian ini memberikan informasi tentang kebutuhan yang diharapkan oleh konsumen, kepada PT. Gudang Rabat Alfa Retailindo Solo dalam mengambil kebijakan  untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen, sehingga dapat memahami peluang pemasaran yang efektif. Tahap awal penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi populasi dan sampel, setelah itu dilakukan penyebaran kuisioner terhadap konsumen yang telah berbelanja di ALFA. Tahap berikutnya melakukan pengujian instrumen dengan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis diskriminan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, terdapat perbedaan perilaku antara konsumen yang sering berbelanja dengan konsumen yang jarang berbelanja. Variabel yang paling membedakan perilaku konsumen adalah variabel harga dan fasilitas pendingin udara (AC).

Abstract

The machining strategy is one of the parameters which practically influences the time of the different manufacturing geometric forms. The machining time directly relates to the machining efficiency of the tool paths. In area milling machining, there are two main types of tool path strategies: a direction-parallel milling and contour-parallel milling. Then direction-parallel milling is simple compared with a contour-parallel strategy. This paper proposes a new model of the direction-parallel machining strategy for triangular pockets to reduce the tool path length. The authors develop an analytical model by appending additional the tool path segments to the basis tool path for cutting un-machined area or scallops, which remained along the boundary. To validate its results, the researchers have compared them to the existing model found in the literature. For illustrating the computation of this model, the study includes two numerical examples. The results show that the proposed analytic direction-parallel model can reduce the total length of machining. Thus, it can take a shorter time for milling machining.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of halal certification on the performance of food small-medium enterprises (SMEs). Specifically, this research aims to prove empirically whether there are significant differences in (1) profit margin of SMEs before and after obtaining a halal certificate; (2) profit margin between halal certified and non-certified SMEs; and (3) operational performance between halal certified and non-certified SMEs. Operational performance measures used in this study include production capacity, product quality, sales, net profit, amount of customers, customers' loyalty, and market share. A survey was conducted in 85 food SMEs in Surakarta city. Administered questionnaires were used to collect primary data from SMEs' managers. The differences regarding profit margin were analyzed using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. We determined the operational performance differences through non-parametric tests, namely the Mann Whitney U-test. Results based on objective data showed that there was no significant difference in the profit margin of SMEs before and after obtaining a halal certificate as well as between halal certified and non-certified SMEs. Results based on mean rank differences of subjective data of performance using the Mann Whitney U test showed that there were significant differences concerning all performance measures between halal certified and non-certified SMEs.

Abstract

This paper develops Banerjee’s model (2005), on concurrent pricing and lot sizing for a supplier on the bases of contractual agreement with a buyer, by considering condition that the supplier’s production system deteriorates over time/usage. Further, it is also assumed that the bargaining position of the buyer is stronger than that of the supplier so its economic lot size policy is used to determine the supplier’s production batch size (i.e. the supplier production batch size is an integer multiple of the buyer’s order quantity). The objective of the supplier here is to determine the product’s selling price, in conjunction with an appropriate lot size policy, to maximize targeted gross profit per unit. Any relevant costs considered by the supplier are setup cost, manufacturing cost, holding cost, restoration cost, and repairing cost. To solve the model, a simple algorithm is employed, and a numerical example using Banerjee’s parameter is implemented to illustrate the works of the model.

Abstract

This paper reported the factors affecting the adoption of green procurement in Indonesian educational institutions.  A quantitative method is used to understand the effects between variables on green procurement implementation. Data from respondents working on the divisions of procurement from higher degree institutions in the province of East Java Indonesia are collected in this study. The results were indicated that there are no significant effects on middle management staff, awareness, and corporate responsibility on the implementation of green procurement on educational institutions. At the same time, there is a significant impact of green supply approaches such as ISO certification and eco-design product strategy on the adoption of green procurement.

Abstract

Meminimalkan pemborosan dalam proses produksi adalah salah satu tujuan dari suatu perusahaan. Lean adalah metode yang dapat meminimalkan pemborosan dalam proses produksi. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan untuk meminimalkan limbah di PT. Bonindo Abadi adalah Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT) dan Value Stream Mapping (VSM). VSM digunakan untuk melihat kondisi peta keadaan pada perusahaan. Pengurangan pemborosan dilakukan dengan menggunakan salah satu alat dari VALSAT yaitu Process Activity Mapping (PAM). Jumlah non value added (NVA) yang ditemukan dalam proses produksi PT. X adalah 90,17% diikuti oleh necessary but non value added (NNVA) dengan jumlah 9,79% dan value added (VA) sebesar 0,04%. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan adalah dengan mengurangi jumlah waktu aktivitas NVA atau menghilangkannya.

Abstract

Product developments of post stroke rehabilitation robot have being done either by local universities or by foreign ones. In this development processes, customer needs were identified prior to the use of QFD method, assuming that improved performance of customer needs linearly affects satisfaction level. This assumption frequently does not fit real condition in the market, wherein customer satisfaction on certain needs dramatically increases by an improvement on their performance and, on the other hand, improved performance on other needs does not affect customer satisfaction at all. In this research, we conclude that almost all of attributes under study belong to one-dimentional categories. Exceptions are associated with portable attribute that belong to must-be categoris and moveable attribute that belong to attractive categories. Moreover, price attribute will affect consumer satisfaction the most given it is fullfilled and control attribute will influence customer dissatisfaction the most if it is not fullfilled.
