Abstract

This study aimed to correlate between output test from Intelligenz Struktur Test (IST) and Standard Progressive Matrices (SPM). These tests measure intellectual capacity. SPM is intelligence test that has been formed set of pictures A, B,C,D. Subject must continue and complete that picture so that reflected his/her abstract reasoning. SPM is a general test, however IST is a special test but the two test produce IQ score. IST has been formed nine aspect: SE (complete sentences), WA (complete word), AN (similarity of words), GE (the same things that belongs to), RA (numerical reasoning), ZR (line of numeric), MA (choice of shape), WU (design of beam), ME (read of symbol). Subject of this research was university student of department of Psychology Islamic University of Indonesia. They did classical test of two measured test. Coefficient correlation between two test is 0.336; p – 0.000 (p

Abstract

This research focused on the existence of the Institute of Coastal Economic Development Micro Mina Partner " (LEPP M3) was considered quite successful in improving the entrepreneurial culture by forming partnerships"Swamitra Mina". The presence of Partnership "Swamitra Mina" in coastal areas, it will directly reduce the role of moneylenders, so that the partnership of Swamitra Mina can mobilize public funds to be used in fishing activities at sea and fish farming. LEPP-M3 very important role in enhancing the economic welfare of coastal fishingcommunities, especially fishermen working with coastal communities to create self-reliance through the promotion of economic activity, strengthening capital and business development, developing partnerships with cooperatives, other private and government institutions, venture capital fulfillment of coastal communities for more improve their business, expand business activities thereby expanding employment opportunities andstimulate business and increase arousal, which in turn will boost economic growth. Abstract

Analysis at a boundary of brain-fat tissue has been concerned with use of terahertz radiation for fundamental studies in cellular organization and as tools in medical practice. The penetration in these two tissue is analyzed by means of numerical analysis. The 0.1-10 THz gap radiation frequency range is used for realistic theoretical analysis while it is compared to the 0.1-10 MHz and 0.1-10 GHz radiation frequency , respectively. The result of dielectric constant for brain and fat show remain constant for all frequencies in ultrasound and microwave ranges which describe dependence of dielectric constant on frequency. The sharp decrease of K in this specific THz range due to its phenomena absorbs water strongly in near infrared rotational-vibrational spectra and brain tissue included a kind of dielectric medium loss. In addition to in fact the brain tissues consist of most of glucose contained discrete tissue structures relate to water content. The result of the numerical calculation in the THz-MHz signal radiation penetration in interface of brain-fat tissue indicates reduction of electric field intensity amplitude ratio values is caused by properties of dielectric loss tissue from fat ( K = 100 ) to brain (K = 200) and also this radiation absorbs water strongly in the liquid contained tissues. The ratio of magnetic and electric field intensity amplitude is a rise linearly with increasing ranges of higher frequencies. This fact caused besides the higher frequency the higher magnetic field intensity, also THz radiation transmission includes light emissions traveling in a straight line. Abstract

The majority of the Manding’s leather manufacturers are small medium entreprise (SME), with limited productive resources. The paper try to identify problems of leather’s manufacturers and formulate strategy to enhance their competitiveness in domestic and overseas market. Most of the SMEs have characteristic as follow : utilization of old manufacturing processes, traditional management, low labor productivity poor intelligence and information systems on trade and marketing, rarely work with other firms, have no development activities, lack of technology adoption, and hardly ever bring new products on the market which lead their product being uncompetitive in market. To attain the competitiveness, SMEs need to consider some of the principle strategies, first, the innovation strategy, in which SMEs try to appropriate returns from their knowledge base. Second, the information technology strategy, which makes innovative uses of information technology in order to reduce SME costs and increase productivity. Third, the network strategy, in which SMEs work and co-operate with other firms, be they SMEs or large enterprises in order to improve their ability to access and absorb innovations. Fourth, the cluster strategy, in which SMEs locate in close proximity with competitors in order to take advantage of knowledge spill- overs, especially in the early stages of the industrial lifecycle. Abstract

Jangilus fish ( Istiophorus orientalis) is one of pelagic commodities which is commonly consumed by society and used for traditional foods. The objective of this research was to determine the effect of immersion solution on tsukuda-ni from Jangilus fish (Istiophorus orientalis). The steps of the research were determine the best type of immersion solution (carbonated drink, rice vinegar, soy sauce, or sweet sake) and the best concentrations of solution (10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% dan 60% [v/v]). The experimental design used in this experiment was complete random design with Tukey test. The study showed that carbonated drink was the best type of immersion solution. The statistical analysis results showed that concentrations of solutions immersion gave significant effect on protein, lipid content, cutting strength, and water activity. The study showed that 40% carbonated drink was the best concentrations. Tsukuda-ni with 40% of the carbonated drink had 30.95 ± 1.20 kg/cm2 power cut, 0.73 water activity (aw), 61.02% water, 4,48% ash, 28,89 % protein, 0,34% fat, and 4,49% carbohidrat content. Keywords: Fish jangilus (Istiophorus orientalis), tsukuda-ni, nutrient content

Abstract

Product development is necessary for companies to be able to survive in an increasingly turbulent business environment. This study aims to (1) to formulate an alternative strategy product development kurma salak based on product life cycle analysis and SWOT (2) choose an alternative strategy that prioritized for implementation. In this research which become sample is Kelompok Tani Ambudi Makmur II in district Bangkalan that produce food and beverages processed from Salak especially kurma salak that becomes Bangkalan flagship product. The method usedis the SWOT matrix, Product Life Cycle (PLC) and QSPM matrix. Technique analyse used by data is descriptive analysis technique. Conclusion from research show there are ten alternative strategies which is then sorted by total value of attractive scores. Three alternative strategies with the greatest Total Attractive Score (TAS) is expanding its marketing area, to develop production sites in other areas, increasing the production of kurma salak. Keywords: product development strategy, PLC, SWOT
