Abstract

Farming becomes one of the parts of agriculture development which has values in supplying the food needs in Indonesia. Now, the milk quality from dairy farmers is still below the standard determined by the dairy company, so it causes the milk’s selling price is staying low. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a device to ensure the production process has qualified the standards and it also functions in supervising the production quality. This research aims to analyze the breakdown and its factors that influence it in CV. Cita Nasional’s milk production. This research used quantitative descriptive approach, a research that describes the occurring events to explain and solve the studied problem. This study used some ways of data collection method, which are: observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, the data analyzing was using assistant device of Statistical Process Control (SPC). Check sheet, Pareto diagram, Histogram, Control chart, Cause and effect diagram. From the calculation result using Statistical Process Control (SPC) (Control Chart) tool aid, we can know about the greatest damage in milk production in CV. Cita Nasional, which is the damage due to 2026, 1 liters of leaking milk, the damage due to the different milk volume with the number of 871, 6 liters damage, and the damage caused by broken packaging with the numbers of 992, 2 liters.

Abstract

Red palm oil contains carotenoids (β, α, ϒ-carotene) so that it has the potential to be developed into a healthy oil. This study aims to obtain physical characteristics (viscosity and stability) and sensory of red palm oil emulsion drink at various concentrations of the addition of CMC and mango flavor. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 2 factors, namely the CMC concentration (0.5%, 0.75% and 1%) and the mango flavor concentration (1.5% and 2%). Red palm oil emulsion drink has a viscosity of 137.93 - 314.92 cP and stability of 77.66 - 94.06%. Sensory score for color 3.44 - 3.80, aroma 3.0 - 3.53, taste 2.72 - 3.00 and viscosity 3.16 -3.32. The higher the CMC concentration and the added manga flavor, the higher the viscosity and stability as well as the sensor score.

Abstract

The demand for eggs is always high, but the availability of goods is often not balanced with the availability of products on the market. The imbalance between the demand for eggs and the supply makes the price unstable. Chicken eggs are a food commodity that has variable price fluctuations. . Therefore an estimate of future prices is required. Various models can be used as a method of forecasting egg prices. The study was conducted to determine and test the best forecasting model for the retail price of eggs in Bengkulu City. The retail selling value of chicken eggs in the capital city of Bengkulu Province from early 2010 to May 2020 was used as the main variable to be analyzed. ima price forecasting model used to determine the best model based on the lowest MAD, MSE and MAPE values. The results showed that the best model for predicting the retail price of eggs in Bengkulu City is the ARIMA model because it has the smallest MAPE, MAD and MSE values compared to other models.
