Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of social media in the delivery of student aspiration. Using a qualitative approach to the data collection techniques performed with primary data obtained by direct observation and the observation depth interviews with informants. While it is used with the photo documentation of secondary data field notes, journals, papers, and articles online. Data analysis techniques used to gather research data that is complete, reducing the data to focus on research, data presentation and conclusion. the results are confirmed the validity of the data by using the technique of triangulation. Informants were students who use social media Facebook Ilmu komunikasi Unras for give aspirations. The results showed tlat the use of social media in the delivery of student aspirations through'a Facebook Ilmu komunikasi Unras is also a concern of students and student participation to provide a solution to the problems faced by students. Meanwhile, based on thetheory of Cyber Community mown that the formation community Facebook Ilmu komunikasi Unras due to the same status as a student member ilmu komunikasi unras and becomes a means of delivering the aspirations of students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of members of the Regional House of Representatives of Central Bengkulu Regency in carrying out the supervisory function of the Regional Regulations. This research was used descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data collectionwere used interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The result of the research shows that the performance of members of DPRD of Central Bengkulu Regency in carrying out the supervisory function of the regional Regulation through the established mechanism that is through work meeting, go down to the field area for checking the monitoring objects , and synchronize the planning documents and the implementation documents. Supervision conducted by members of DPRD of Central Bengkulu Regency implemented after the exit policy. The form of supervision of the Regional Regulation conducted by members of DPRD of Central Bengkulu Regency is directly monitoring the spaciousness, listening to community input, and hearing together to carry out the supervisory function of the existing Regional Regulation. Obstacles faced by DPRD members in carrying out supervisory functions are topography of Central Bengkulu that is difficult to reach, technical constraints, lack of transparency, and openness of Local Government.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the intercultural communication in Kedurai Agung ritual atTaba Tembilang Village Argamakmur District North Bengkulu. The data collection method used is observation, interview, and documentation. The theory used in this study is the theory according to Deddy Mulyana about intercultural communication that has a personal function and social function. Social function consists of social identity, declaring social integration, and adding knowledge. Social function consists of supervisory function, bridging function, socialization and entertaining.The results showed that intercultural communication express social identity can be viewed from the origin of tribes, religions, and different cultures. Social integration accepts the differences between each of the existing tribes, and appreciates each other in spite of different tribes. Adding knowledge to each other learns the values of culture in Kedurai Agung ritual.The social function of supervision supervises each other. Different cultures are a bridge over the differences to unite hospitalitywith people of different tribes and cultures. To socialize the cultural values in this village is very good because they realize the important of study the existing cultures. Intercultural entertainment is clearly visible from the information obtained because Kedurai Agung ritual held in Taba Tembilang village is held only once a year and although many different tribes have a sense of caring and mutual respect for others.

Abstract

This scientific research was conducted to find out the description of the implementation of the Regional Regulation on Regional Spatial Planning in realizing environmentally sustainable development in Bengkulu Tengah Regency. The focus of this research is on the implementation of the policy of providing Green Open Space in the development of urban areas, namely the City Parks that have been built. The method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data analysis is based on techniques commonly used in communication messages, namely data collection, data classification, data interpretation and meaning of research results. The results of the study were viewed from four aspects, namely the determination of zoning, licensing issues, choice of incentives and disincentives, and community participation. From this aspect, it is known that in the construction of City Parks as a form of implementation of the policy of providing Green Open Space in the development of urban areas in Bengkulu Regency, the principle of environmentally sustainable development has not been maximally realized. First, the determination of City Park zoning is carried out unilaterally by the government without coordinating with the community. Secondly, the issue of licensing where the construction of the City Park permit location is unknown to the public. Third, the choice of incentives and disincentives provided by the government is still too small and does not prioritize the interests of the community. Finally, the participation of the community in the construction of the City Park is still very lacking because the government is not transparent regarding the development planning that will be carried out.

Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the communication network in the management and provision of public information in Government Public Relations and Regional Work Unit (SKPD) in Solok City. The description of the communication network was obtained using descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques of interview, observation and documentation. The communication network observed revolves around the functions of the communication network, connectivity, communication network typology, and separator of Solok City Public Relations Division and other Regional Work Units (SKPD). The results of the study illustrate that; 1) The function of the Government Public Relations communication network with other SKPD in the City of Solok as a technical person in charge of being able to manage the organization's internal communication. The Public Relations Department has provided information technology in the form of an application system in the form of integrated internet in each organizational unit, 2) Connectivity of the Public Relations Section of Solok City Regional Secretariat and other SKPD have strong and close connections because they use informal communication that prioritizes interpersonal closeness, the Public Relations and other SKPD departments in Solok City Government are running decentralized, 4) In the communication network of the Solok City Regional Secretariat and other SKPD, each member of each agency can communicate with each other, either directly or using media, such as telephones.

Abstract

TVRI Bengkulu Public Broadcasting Institution (LPP) which is supposed to be responsible for the welfare of its workers, especially freelancers, is more concerned with the workload of its workers because a person's workload must be appropriate and balanced against the physical and psychological abilities of workers. This study aims to determine the commoditization of workers carried out on TVRI Bengkulu television station. This research method uses qualitative research methods which are presented descriptively. Informants in this study used purposive sampling, namely Kasubsi TVRI Bengkulu Program, Journalists, News Administration, News Broadcasters, and employees who had worked at TVRI Bengkulu from various fields such as Journalists, Production Engineering, and Program Staff. Methods of collecting data using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the method of constant cooperative technique. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the occurrence of Commoditization of Workers in the TVRI Bengkulu Public Broadcasting Institution is true, this is indicated by the existence of work inequality ranging from additional work to the salary system obtained. When referring to the theory put forward by Vincent Mosco the media make optimal use of energy and mind by forcing them to do more than one job as a form of employee loyalty to the media industry.

Abstract

Resolving the problem of land maladministration by the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia through a mediation mechanism is a very important method for both reporting parties and the reported party to find the best solution that benefits both parties. This study aims to find out how the process of problem solving through a mediation mechanism by the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of Bengkulu Province. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with informant retrieval techniques, namely purposive sampling. The informants in this study were the Chief Representative; Head of Report Inspection and Verification, Head of Report Inspection Division, Member of Report Inspection and Verification, Member of Report Examination, Secretariat of Ombudsman of Republic of Indonesia Representative of Bengkulu Province and 2 Reporting Persons / General Communities, using data collection techniques for Observation, Interview and Documentation. The results of this study are the process of resolving the land problem through a mediation mechanism carried out by the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Bengkulu Representative through 3 processes, namely the process of summoning the reporter and the reporter, the Communication Process in Mediation and the Solution produced in the mediation. a case of maladministration using the mediation method, and a solution from the reporting party and the reported party that has been agreed upon in the mediation is completed with the minutes as a result of the mediation on the joint decision.

Abstract

According to research it is obtained: attention, interesting display and pictures of electric balance which can attract customer and make them interest to try and top-up balance because the transaction is fast, easy on delivery and cheap also various model which displayed. Society can also a new agent, kios cell open for 24 hours so customer can always be served. Interest because of online advertisement by showing the price is cheaper than other sellers, but the problem comes from internet connection so it delays in sending the electric balance. Desire is still in customer who being aware in top-up electric balance with online media, cheap and fast in every transaction makes customers satisfy. The loss when sending the balance get delayed so that account will use personal balance which caused the customer loss. Action of kios cell owner can give a guidance through brochure and give direct guidance to customer about how to do a transaction in purchasing electric balance through facebook or token.
