Abstract

The purpose of this research and development (R&D) project is to create a Verse Puzzle-based learning tool that will help seventh-grade students at MTSN 1 Palangka Raya better memorize Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-19. This innovation is based on the discovery that traditional memorization techniques, such as listening and repetition, are often boring and ineffective, especially when considering the characteristics of seventh-grade students who require a lot of visual and kinesthetic stimulation. To ensure that the final product is methodical and measurable, this study uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The Verse Puzzle product uses color differentiation for two sets of verses (1-5 and 6-19) and is made of 310 gsm Art Paper cut per phrase or word. The trial results show that this media is very suitable for use: the practicality test on seventh grade students resulted in an average percentage of positive responses of 94.25% (Very Practical category), while the validity test conducted by material and media experts resulted in an average percentage of suitability of 90.50% (Very Valid category). The Verse Puzzle Media successfully transformed memorization from a passive process into a dynamic and interesting educational process by involving students in an active remembering process through visual and kinesthetic (composing verse fragments).   Keywords: Verse Puzzle Learning Media, Memorizing Surah Al-'Alaq Verses 1–19

Abstract

Grade XII students have diverse characteristics and learning abilities in understanding historical material, especially in the material of the struggle to defend Indonesian independence. The problem faced in learning history is the use of conventional learning methods so that students are less interested and have difficulty understanding history material. This research aims to develop a history learning website for the Trail of Independence and to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the website in learning history in grade XII. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4-D development model consisting of four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The website developed is then tested for feasibility through validation of material experts and media experts, teacher and student response tests, and effectiveness tests using pretests and posttests. The results of the study show that the level of website validity obtained a very valid category with an average material validation of 3.85 and media validation of 3.75. The level of practicality based on the students' responses obtained an average of 3.50 with the very practical category, while the teacher's response obtained an average of 3.79 with the very practical category. The level of website effectiveness can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes, with an average pretest score of 58.20 and posttest of 90.00. Thus, the Independence Trail history learning website is declared feasible to be used as a digital technology-based history learning medium that is able to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes.   Keywords: Website; History Learning; Traces of Independence.     Referensi Alghiffari, E. Abstract

Abstract Digital transformation in Indonesian higher education requires learning designs that not only place teaching materials on online platforms, but also strengthen interaction, collaboration, and student engagement. This study examines SPADA Indonesia-based digital collaborative learning through a quantitative model linking collaborative interaction quality, teaching presence, platform quality, digital readiness, student engagement, and perceived learning outcomes. An explanatory survey was conducted with 352 valid student responses using a five-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, construct validity and reliability testing, and hypothesis testing. The results show that all variables were in the high category, with platform quality obtaining the highest mean (M = 4.185; SD = 0.628) and digital readiness the lowest mean (M = 3.826; SD = 0.576). All constructs met validity and reliability criteria, with indicator loadings of 0.716-0.880, AVE of 0.564-0.704, composite reliability of 0.886-0.934, and Cronbach's alpha of 0.844-0.915. Hypothesis testing indicates that collaborative interaction quality had a positive but nonsignificant effect on student engagement (β = 0.056; p = 0.225). In contrast, teaching presence (β = 0.142; p = 0.018), platform quality (β = 0.410; p < 0.001), and digital readiness (β = 0.353; p < 0.001) significantly predicted student engagement, explaining 74.4% of its variance. Student engagement significantly affected perceived learning outcomes (β = 0.743; p < 0.001; R² = 0.553). The findings indicate that platform quality and digital readiness are the dominant determinants of student engagement in SPADA-based digital collaborative learning, while collaborative interaction needs more structured pedagogical design.   Arbaugh, J.
