Abstract

Some students feel difficult when they have to speak in the classroom condition because there is always an audience. They feel so anxious in practicing their speaking skill in foreign language. The objectives of the research were to investigate the effect of using task-based language teaching (TBLT) approach in developing students’ speaking skill and to explore students’ attitude toward the use of task- based language teaching (TBLT) approach in teaching English speaking. Involving two classes as the experimental class and the control class which consisted of 60 students, selected by using Cluster Random Sampling technique. The research applied quasi-experimental method. The population of the research was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Watampone  in academic year 2015/2016.The data were collected through speaking test and questionnaires then analyzed by paired-sample t.test. The result of the research showed that (1) The use of task-based language teaching (TBLT) approach in teaching speaking significantly improved the students’ speaking skill. It was proved by the mean score of students’ posttest in experimental group was 70.00 and the mean score of students’ posttest in control group was 58.66. It means that the improvement of experimental group was higher than that of the control group. (2) The students’ attitude toward the use of task-based language teaching (TBLT) have strongly positive attitude. It was proved by the mean score of students’ attitude was 90%. It was categorized as strongly positive attitude.

Abstract

Menganalisis potensi lahan untuk menentukan pola penggunaan lahan optimal dalam hubungan, dengan pengelolaan Balangtieng DAS di Kabupaten Bulukumba, penelitian ini dilakukan di DAS Balangtieng Kabupaten Bulukumba yang meliputi 24 desa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data primer dikumpulkan dengan metode survei atau pemetaan dan kuesioner, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari instansi terkait. Data colleted kemudian dianalisis dengan statistik dan Geografphical Informasi System (SIG).Hasil menunjukkan analisis itu; 1) Kondisi pola penggunaan lahan di DAS Balangtieng telah berubah fungsi; 2) degradasi erosi menyebabkan tanah ampunt dari 64.053,69 ton / ha / tahun; 3) pelaksanaan untuk perubahan pola penggunaan lahan yang dianjurkan adalah mengurangi jumlah erosi di setiap pengobatan, yaitu 281,19 ton / ha / tahun, 276,87 ton / ha / tahun, 4.201,66 ton / ha / tahun dan 383 , 40 ton / ha / tahun di pertama, kedua, ketiga dan fourt freatments.Berdasarkan hasil analisis, beberapa upaya yang bisa dilakukan untuk mengurangi degradasi lahan dan penggunaan lahan yang optimal adalah sebagai follows; 1) pola penggunaan lahan harus diubah: 2) sistem konservasi tanah harus dilaksanakan exaltly dan cepat; dan 3) partisipasi pemerintah, sektor swasta, organization sosial non-pemerintah, dan masyarakat dalam relatif terhadap pengelolaan Balangtieng atershed Kabupaten Bulukumba harus juga terlibat. Kata Kunci: Analisis, Lahan, Aliran Sungai  The analyze potency of land to determine the optimal land use pattern in relation, with the management of Balangtieng Watershed at Bulukumba Regency,The research is carried out at at Balangtieng watershed of Bulukumba Regency which include 24 villages. The methods used are qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The primary data is collected by survey or mapping method and questionnaire, meanwhile the secondary data is obtained from related departments. The colleted data are then analyzed by statistical and Geografphical information System (SIG).The result of the analysis show that; 1) The condition of land use pattern at Balangtieng watershed has changed its function; 2) the degradation of land causing erosion is ampunt of 64.053,69 ton/ha/year; 3) the implementation for the change of land use pattern recommended is reducing the erosion quantity in each treatment, namely 281,19 ton/ha/year, 276,87 ton/ha/year, 4.201,66 ton/ha/year and 383,40 ton/ha/year in the first, second, third and fourt freatments.Based on the analysis result, some effort could be done in order to reduce the land degradation and the optimal land use were as follws; 1) the land use pattern should be changed: 2) the land conservation system should be implemented exaltly and quickly; and 3) the participation of the government, private sector, non-government social organozation, and society in relative to the management of Balangtieng atershed of Bulukumba Regency should be also involved. Key Words: Analysis, Land, Watershed

Abstract

Bahkan dapat dikatakan masa depan bangsa bergantung pada keberadaan pendidikan yang berkualitas yang berlangsung di masa kini.Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data primer dikumpulkan dengan metode survei atau pemetaan dan kuesioner, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari diperoleh melalui observasi pengolahan kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan gabungan metode ceramahdengan metode simulasi, dan tes formatif.Hasil menunjukkan; 1) penerapan gabungan metode ceramah dengan metode simulasi memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa; 2) meningkatnya nilai rata-rata mahasiswa pada setiap siklus yang terus mengalami peningkatan.; 3) bekerja dengan sesama mahasiswa, mendengarkan/memperhatikan penjelasan dosen, dan diskusi antar mahasiswa/antara mahasiswa dengan dosen. Jadi dapat dikatakan bahwa aktivitas mahasiswa dapatdikategorikan aktif.Kata Kunci: Penerapan, MetodeCeramah, Metode Simulasi Abstract One of the pillars of human resource development is significant, very important for national development. It can even be said to be the future of the nation depends on the existence of a quality education that takes place in the present. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Primary data was collected by surveying or mapping methods and questionnaires, while secondary data obtained through observations obtained from the processing of teaching and learning activities with a joint lecture with simulation method, and formative tests.Results show; 1) implementation of joint lecture with simulation methods have a positive impact in improving student achievement .; 2 increase in the average value of students in each cycle which is constantly increasing .; 3) work with fellow students, listening / observing explanations lecturer, and discussions between student / between students and lecturers. So it can be said that the student activities can be categorized as active.Keywords: Application, Lecture Method, Simulation Method

Abstract

Abstract The writing skills are complex and sometimes difficult to teach , The  difficulties are due  to weaknesses in grammar and vocabulary. Another problem, the students have a lot of ideas in their minds but they worry to start and even they don't know how to develop ideas. Uninteresting topic and unsuitable teaching techniques can influence students interest in writing English. To solve this problem, the English teacher should have to be more creative in choosing the material and techniques which can make the writing class more interesting, exciting and enjoyable. Materials are divided into two points they are visual and non visual material. Visual material offers, an attractive and stimulating framework for writing practice. One of the visual materials is picture. Picture is very suitable to be applied to the students of senior high school as a method writing skill. The objective of the research will find out the improvement students writing ability by using sequence picture and the interest of the students to use sequence picture at SMAN 1 Sungguminasa this research will use class action research that consisted two cycles the research population was the first grade of SMAN I Sungguminasa academic year 2015/2016the sample of this research consisted of 30 students. This will obtain the data by using writing test and questionnaire sheet. The reason why this research focuses on the sequence picture technique was that it will give the stimulate and motivate the students to study English special in writing skill. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media wall chart dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan argumentasi siswa kelas X.1 SMA Negeri 1 Sesean. Manfaat dari penelitian ini (1) Sebagai acuan bagi guru bahasa Indonesia  untuk memperbaiki dan menentukan media yang akan digunakan dalam pembelajaran, (2) Sebagai bahan referensi bagi peneliti selanjutnya terutama yang menyangkut pengajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA yang mempergunakan alat praga sebagai media pembelajaran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ada semua siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sesean sebanyak 285 siswa, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X.1 SMA Negeri 1 Sesean yang yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik tes. Sedangkan data dianalisis dengan teknik komperatif yaitu membandingkan variabel nilai yang diperoleh antara kedua kelompok, baik kelompok kontrol maupun kelas eksperimen. Selain itu data dianalisis dengan teknik statistik untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan media wall chart berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar menulis siswa kelas X.1 SMA Negeri 1 Sesean. Hal tersebut terlihat pada nilai t hitung yang diperoleh lebih besar di banding nilai t tabel (2,10 ≥ 1,711). Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Media, Menulis, Karangan ArgumentasiThis study aims to determine the effect of the media wall chart to improve essay writing argumentation X.1 grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sesean. The benefits of this research (1) As a reference for Indonesian teachers to fix and determine the media that will be used in teaching, (2) as a reference material for further research especially concerning the teaching of Indonesian in high school who use the tool praga as a learning medium. The population in this study there was all class X SMA Negeri 1 Sesean as many as 285 students, while the sample in this study were all students of class X.1 SMA Negeri 1 Sesean totaling 26 students. Collecting data in this study conducted by the testing techniques. While the data were analyzed by using comparative comparing variable values obtained between the two groups, both the control group and the experimental class. In addition, data were analyzed using statistical techniques to test the research hypothesis. The results of this study is that the use of the media wall chart effect on learning outcomes of students' writing class X.1 SMA Negeri 1 Sesean. It is seen on the t value obtained is greater in the appeal t table (2,10 ≥ 1.711).Keywords: Effects, Media, Writing, Writing Arguments

Abstract

Abstrak Usaha kecil di negara maju ternyata memiliki peranan yang sangat besar. Di Amerika Serikat saja yang terkenal dengan usaha-usaha industri besarnya ternyata 44,3% dari total gaji di sektor swasta dihasilkan oleh usaha kecil juga berperan mempekerjakan separuh dari seluruh tenaga kerja di sektor swasta, dan selama satu dekade terakhir, negara adidaya tersebut mampu menciptakan 60% hingga 80% lapangan kerja baru. Hal serupa juga terjadi di Indonesia. Menurut data Biro Pusat Statistik dan Kementrian Koperasi dan UKM 2005, jumlah UKM di Indonesia terbukti telah menyerap 79,6 juta tenaga kerja atau 88% dari seluruh tenaga kerja, mempunyai andil terhadap 19,94% nilai ekspor dan 55,67%  produk Domestik Bruto. Khusus di Kota Makassar, perkembangan usaha kecil juga sangat pesat. Ini ditandai dengan banyaknya usaha-usaha kecil yang berdiri  di kota ini. Sensus ekonomi pada tahun 2014, total usaha industri kecil berjumlah 8.481 unit dengan jumlah tenaga kerja yang tersebar sejumlah 13.876 orang.Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis data yang dilakukan oleh penulis, terlihat adanya peningkatan koefisien baik dalam uji regresi, uji t, maupun uji F kedua variabel independen terhadap variabel dependennya dari pengujian bagian pertama yakni pada saat responden belum menyelenggarakan dan menggunakan informasi akuntansi ke pengujian bagian kedua dimana responden telah menyelenggarakan dan menggunakannya. Oleh karena itu, kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik adalah terjadi perubahan “positif” pada persepsi pengusaha kecil atas informasi akuntansi dikarennakan pengaruh penyelenggaraan dan penggunaan informasi akuntansi tersebut oleh mereka.Kata Kunci:Perlakuan Akuntansi, Persepsi Pengusaha Kecil, Sistem Informasi Akuntansi.Abstract Small businesses in gatra advanced Turns Own Role the Very big. Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine whether or not the use of semantic feature analysis is effective to develop English vocabulary of the second grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Gowa.This research design was a quasi experimental research. The research conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Gowa in academic year 2010/2011 with 315 students as a population of the research. The sample of the research was 90 consisted of 45 students as the control class and 45 students as the experimental class selected by cluster random sampling tehnique. The instrument employed in collecting data was vocabulary test. Data was obtained through pretest and posttest for both classes and the result of the test was processed by using SPSS 17.0 version.The result revealed that the application of semantic feature analysis could effective to develop the English vocabulary of the second grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa proved by the mean score of control class in pretest was 58.98 and the mean score of experimental class was 57.64. Whereas, the means score of control class in the posttest was 60.27 which was taught without the aplication semantic feature analysis and the means score of experimental class was 76.09, which was taught semantic feature analysis. The result of t-test was 0.000 or the probability, is less than 0.05 as the level of significance (0.000 0.05). The conclusion based on the result was the application of semantic feature analysis was more effective than teaching withou applying semantic feature analysis in developing English vocabulary for the second grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Gowa.Keyword : vocabulary, semantic feature, analysis

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas penerapan strategi Modelling the Way dalam pembelajaran membaca puisi pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tompobulu Kabupaten Bantaeng. Tujuan umum itu dirincikan ke dalam tujuan khusus, yakni (a) keterlaksanaan RPP, (b) lembar observasi, dan (c) tes hasil belajar membaca puisi.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang terdiri dari analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel melalui perhitungan rata-rata dan persentase.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas kontrol yakni kelas VII.2 dari 19 orang siswa hanya 8 orang siswa yang tuntas dengan persentase 42,1% yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Secara klasikal belum terpenuhi karena nilai rata-rata diperoleh sebesar 73 atau berada pada kategori rendah dan belum mencapai KKM. Dan pada kelas eksperimen, yakni kelas VII.3 dari 21 orang siswa, terdapat 16 orang siswa atau 76,1% yang tuntas dan telah memenuhi KKM serta secara klasikal sudah terpenuhi yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 80,1 atau berada dalam kategori tinggi. Kata Kunci :  Penerapan strategi Modelling the Way, membaca puisi.His study aimed to describe the general effectiveness of the implementation of the strategy Modeling the Way in learning to read poetry in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tompobulu Bantaeng. The general objective was detailed in a specific purpose, namely (a) the enforceability of the RPP, (b) the observation sheet, and (c) the test results to learn to read poetry.This research is experimental study consisted of quantitative descriptive analysis and presented in tabular form through the calculation of average and percentage.The results showed that in the control class VII.2 class of 19 students only 8 percentage of students who completed the 42.1% who meet the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). In classical unmet because the average value obtained for 73 or in the low category and has not reached the KKM. And the experimental class, the class VII.3 of 21 students, there are 16 people or 76.1% of students who completed and have met KKM and classically been met and that the average value of 80.1 or are in the high category Keywords: Implement strategies Modeling the Way, read poetry.

Abstract

As for research question is 1. How technique write imagination can improve ability of student in writing deskritip test from to content of technique write imagination at class student early SMA Negeri 17 Bulukumba 2. How technique write imagination can improve ability of student in writing content about understanding of them to article imagine at class early SMA Negeri 17 Bulukumba 3. How technique write imagination can improve livelines of student in writing tes descritive by using theory write imagination at class early SMA Negeri 17 Bulukumba .Class action research (PTK) this  aim to  know improve  of skill writing at  their effective  and student in course of study through technique write this research imagination .is conducted by 2 cycle of each cycle four times meeting with instrument using writing  test. this Research Subject there is 30  student  class early SMA Negeri 17 Bulukumba. Result of research  obtained for the cycle of 1 and 2 there are difference of score that is ,there is final improvement of cycle both . this Research finding indicate that use oft technique writing  imagination can improve ability write diagnostic tes score student 41 becoming 42,83 at first cycle and after revise at  second cycle by applying descritive text reach 68,16 . Minimum successfulness  criterion ( KKM) is 65 where at cycle there is 1 student ( 3.33%) less , 28 student ( 93,33%) student fair,1 ( 3,33%) goodness whereas at cycle to 2 there is 13 student ( 43,33%) goodness and 17(56,66) obtaining very good. This means that tired student efficientcacy of minimum criterion ( KKM) more than semi from them.

Abstract

Failure of earnings reflects stock prices fully implies there is other information that can be used to invest. This aims to research were to investigate alternative information of non-profit (earning) in investing by examining (1) relationship between fundamental signals (accounts receivable, inventory, gross margin, sales and administrative expenses, effective tax rate, labor force and capital expenditure)and stock returns, and (2) the information of cash flow component (operating cash flows, investing cash flows and  financing cash flow)on  stock return. The research was conducted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) using secondary data. The samples were selected using purposive sampling method consisting of 105 data observed from 2009 to 2011. The data were analyzed using multiple linear analysis. The results of the research indicate that fundamental signals such as inventory, gross margin, sales and administrative expenses and capital expenditure have a significant influence on stock returns, while the fundamental signals such as accounts receivable, effective tax rate, and labor force indicate an insignificant influence. Similarly, information of cash flow components such as operating cash flows, investing cash flows and financing cash flow indicate an insignificant influence either. Based on the results of these studies we can conclude that the fundamental signals such as inventory, gross margin, sales and administrative expenses and capital expenditure information can be used as an alternative to investing.
