Tubectomy is one of the family planning method in Indonesia. Family Planning service can be performed in many health services. One of them is in Planned Parenthood Federation of Indonesia (PPFI) clinic. According to Indonesian Health Ministry data (2013) reported that the coverage of Tubectomy method only 1.52%. The effectivity of Tubectomy is 99%. Many benefit from using Tubectomy method but its coverage in Indonesia is low. The purpose of research is to identify participation factors of Tubectomy acceptor in Surabaya on PPFI clinic. Design of this research is using descriptive research method. The population of this research is woman that do Tubectomy in PPFI clinic of East Java on September 2017. There are 46 peoples for this research population. Sampling technic is population total. Variables are sociodemography factor, such as age, education, last child age, alive children and health factor which is contraception method and blood pressure. Result analized using descriptive statistic. The result showed that sociodemography factor in Tubectomy acceptor with high result were age that pass childbearing age (35–39 year) is 41%, education level in Senior High School (52%), having 3–4 children (57%), their last child age is 0–5 years old (74%).Many woman in Hypertension level I their last family planning method was injection 8 peoples in total.

Increased population growth was a problem faced by Indonesia. One of reason is because of the high unmet need for family planning. This research analyzed Influence factor family planning needs based on social cognitive theory. The research was quantitative study with a cross sectional design. Samples were married woman with the age of 15–49 years who don’t to have children or postpone their pregnancy either by using contraception or not as many as 70 womans and taken by simple random sampling. The independent variable were observational learning, outcome expectation, self efficacy, husband support, access to information, and access to health services. The dependent variable of this study was family planning needs. Quantitative data were analyzed using binary logistic regression test. A quarter of respondents were of unmet need for family planning. There was influence observational learning, husband support, and access information to family planning needs. This research concluded that was the determinant factor that influence to family planning need was access to information.

The problems usually faced by women during menstruation : amenorhea (menstruation doesn’t occur), premenstrual syndrome (tension before menstruation), abnormal uterinebleeding, disfungtion uterine bleeding, and dysmenorrhea (the pain during menstruation) (Price and Wilson, 2006). Forty to seventy percent women in their reproductive age have dysmenorrhea, and only ten percent that spoil their daily activities. Studied Result that was done by researcher on 20th of January 2014 towards to freshmen of Magelang Midwifery Studies Program Polytechnic Semarang Ministry of Health, shows that there are eight students have dysmenorrhea, six of them have dysmenorrhea with anemia. The purpose of this research is to know the relation between the level of hemoglobin and the dysmenorrhea case. The research type is analytic that is to know the relation between hemoglobin level with the dysmenorrhea case. The population of the research is all freshmen of Magelang Midwifery Studies Program that there are 119 students, 30 student samples were taken, hopefully it has coverred all exist population. Because of the limited time, limited researcher and cost so that the researcher uses sample population methode by Simple Random Sampling Technic and with checklist measuring tools as dysmenorrhea measuring tool and Haemometer digital as hemoglobin level measuring tools. The relation test result by using Kolmogorov-Smimov test, we get the result the p = 0.024 and p < 0.05 then it shows that there is relation between hemogobin level with dysmenorrhea case. This study resultsare expected tobean effort to raiseawareness and preventionof anemiaprevention will be one factor inthe occurrence of dysmenorrhea.

According to Health Ministry (2010), 25%-50% of Fertile Women’s death is related to the problems of pregnancy, labor, and childbirth. The government sets up the program Making Pregnancy Safer (MPS), one of which is by caesarean section delivery to reduce the Number of Maternal Mortality. According to Health Ministry at Nofitasari (2011), one of the indicators of quality care in obstetric and gynecology is by Caesarean Section Rate (CSR). For educational hospital or referral hospital the CSR is ≤ 20%, while for non-educational or non-referral hospital is ≤ 15% of total deliveries per year. At Panembahan Senopati Bantul Hospital, there are 3.365 birth cases in 2013 24.63% of them ends with caesarean section delivery. These cases are higher than the standard rate of caesarean section set by Health Ministry for educational or referral hospitals i.e. ≤ 20% of total deliveries per year. The purpose of this study to find out the indications of caesarean section deliveries at Panembahan Senopati Bantul Hospital in 2013. This is a descriptive research with cross sectional design. The location of study is Panembahan Senopati Bantul Hospital. The study is conducted on 2014. The data are taken from the register book of baby births between January 1-December 31 2013. The result shows that the cases of caesarean section at Panembahan Senopati Bantul Hospital was performed on medical indications 97.5%, non-medical indications 2.5%, medical-single indications 90.1%, elective-single 67.2%, and possibility-single 67.1%. Most medical indications were previous caesarean section (22.4%).

Women feel anxious when facing menopause, so many simple problems become so big and can even make a woman desperate. The menopausal phase is usually preceded by a premenopausal phase occurring at an age between 48–55 years. The attitude of women in the face of changes in the menopause is influenced by their knowledge. The purpose of this study was to know the description of knowledge and attitude of women aged 48–55 years about menopause in the Village Weru RT 02 RW 05, Sukoharjo. Descriptive research design with cross sectional approach. Research population of all women aged 48–55 years amounted to 44 people in Weru Village in April 2015. Using Sampling Purposive Sampling technique, 36 respondents can be sampled from the entire population. Data collection tools are questionnaires. Data analysis using univariate analysis of knowledge using percentage and attitude using scale range. The results of knowledge of women are on the category enough with the number of respondents 22 (61.2%). This can be seen that the knowledge of respondents about the majority of menopause already in the category enough even between the respondents are knowledgeable and less comparable. The desired expectations of the majority are experienced well but the results have not been as expected. While most women have enough attitude of 21 (58.3) categories less 8 respondents (22.3%) and minority in good category of 7 respondents (19.4). There are several factors that affect the knowledge and attitude of women 48–55 years in the face of changes in menopause.

Leucorhea is vaginal fluid, sometimes white or gray, can also colored yellow and green, smelling bad and foaming. Leucorhea is a frequent symptom experienced by most women. In Indonesia, about 75% of women had experienced on suffering leucorhea. Leucorhea is a common symptom of almost all reproductive health problem. In Indonesia, the risky age on suffering reproductive infections generally are still undergoing education in schools, so that we decide to conduct our research in senior high school which is SMP Negeri 3 Depok, based on the highest number of teenagers, in Depok, Sleman. The study was conducted to determine the relationship between genetalia’s hygiene behavior towards pathological leucorhea on 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Depok year by 2014. The type of research is an analytic observational with cross sectional aproach. The location is in SMP Negeri 3 Depok on May 9th 2014, with 7th grade students having menstruation record, have not suffered any reproductive health problem and not in stress condition as the subject, 53 in total. We use questionnaire as the instrument. The analysis use univariat and bivariat analysis. The result shows that most respondents had non-hygienic behavior (66.04%) and experienced phatological leucorhea (75.58%). Furthermore, there were 82.9% of respondents with non-hygienic behavior and 55.6% of subjects with hygienic behavior suffered pathological leucorhea. Therefore, given that subjects with genetalia’s hygiene behavior that is not hygienic to have a 1.5 times greater risk for experiencing pathological leucorhea compared with those in hygienic behavior. Chi-square value 4.5583, p value 0.03276, and PR 1.491.

Anemia is one of the health problems in the world especially in developing countries and it is estimated that 30% of the world population suffers from anemia. Anemia is one of the health problems that often occur in pregnant women and young women. According to WHO (2013), the prevalence of anemia in the world reaches 40–88%. According to Riskesdas (2013) got anemia patients in adolescent girls amounted to 2.7%. One cause of high rates of anemia in adolescent girls is the lack of awareness of consumption of Fe tablets during menstruation. Consciousness of Fe tablet consumption during menstruation can not be separated from information and knowledge, because of knowledge is one of several factors that influence one's consumption behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge with adolescent attitudes about consumption of Fe tablet during menstruation on students of Faculty of Public Health Unair Surabaya. This research was analytic with cross sectional approach. The samples were 50 respondents taken by simple random sampling technique. The instrument used a questionnaire. The result of this research was chi-square statistic test with significance level α = 0,05 or 95%. Statistical test results obtained p value = 1 < α = 0.05. The conclusion of this research is that there is no significant relationship of knowledge with attitude of Fe tablet consumption during menstruation on students of Faculty of Public Health Unair Surabaya.

Premarital period is the best time to prepare physical, psychological, and social condition. Health check-up program and reproductive health promotion for prospective wives are ways to form the quality of family’s health. The aim of this study is to figure out the difference of knowledge before and after reproductive health promotion for prospective wives. This study was conducted in September 2017 at Puskesmas Pucang Sewu. This study is a quntitative research with cross sectional method with paired t-test. The sample of this study was 32 respondents and were given some questionnaires which provided questions about prospective wives’ knowledge of reproductive health before and after the promotion. The promotion of reproductive health was done to increase their knowledge in terms of nutrition level, reproductive health to prepare the precious generation. This research found thatbefore counseling 62.5% of respondents had less knowledge. It then decreased to 12.5% after counseling. The average value of respondents before counseling was 50.62 and then increased to 66.25 after counseling. The mean value is 15.625 and the p value is 0.031 or α less than 0.05. Thus, there was a significant difference of prospective wives’ knowledge before and after promotion was given. Puskesmas Pucang Sewu is recommended to keep giving the premarital counseling with lectures and frequently asked questions method and using slide show media because it has been proven to improve wives’ knowledge. Beside, it is necessary to implement collaboration of wives’ program holder with nutrition and psycology officer related about promotion materials in order to improve knowledge about nutrition and psycology management at wives’.

The human development index is indicator to measure efficacy of human development. The human development index is composed of life expectancy at birth (health factor), average length of school and school life expectancy (education factors), and also gross national per capita (economic factor) expenditure. The human development index in East Java Province in 2016 was below national rate and still of medium status. This achievement depends on the factors that influence it. The goal was to analyze the effect of infant mortality rate, net enrollment rate for elementary school, and dependency ratio on human development index of East Java Province. This study includes the type of analytical research with non-reactive method. Sample size was 29 districts and 9 cities in East Java Province 2016. The analysis used multiple linear regression. The study showed that the three independent variables are simultaneously affect human development index (p-value = 0.000). Partially, the net enrollment rate for elementary school (p-value = 0.164) was insignificant whereas infant mortality rate (p-value = 0.0000) and dependency ratio (p-value = 0.000012) had negative affect and significant to human development index. The conclusion of this research is the value of human development index can be increase while decreasing infant mortality rate and dependency ratio.

In Indonesia, there are still many couples who married first at a young age and not in accordance with health policy. The desire to maturing age of marriage can be hampered because of low knowledge about impact of marriage in young age and number of young marriage around adolescents. The aims of this survey was to analyzed the correlation among knowledge and social culture with attitudes related to maturation age of marriage. This study use an observational research with crossectional design. This research was conducted in Tri karya high school on 9th September 2017 and used 37 students as sample. Technique of sampling used simple random sampling. Questionnaires is used to obtained the data and chi square test is used to analyzed research data. The level of knowledge, cultural and adolescent attitudes related to maturing age of marriage are variables in this study. The result of chi square test between knowledge level and adolescent attitude showed no significant relationship (p = 0.155 > α, α = 0.05). Analysis of the relationship between social culture with adolescent attitudes has significant relationship (p = 0.002 < α, α = 0.05). The conclusion in this research is knowledge level hasn’t significant correlation with adolescent attitude. Culture has a significant relationship with adolescent attitudes. An understanding about the ideal age for marriage need to be given by parents to their children. Primary Health Center can create Integrated Service for teens and socialization about maturation age of marriage can be done through it.
