Abstract

Learning social studies in elementary dominated by the monotonous teaching methods, conventional and less effective, the teacher dominated learning, teaching by lecturing andrecorded material, and using instructional media. This needs to be an improvement oflearning. Researchers trying to implement cooperative learning methods through the mediagame of snakes and ladders as an attempt to create learning interesting, active, and canmotivate student learning. This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learningthrough the media cooperative game of snakes and ladders on learning outcomes of fourthgrade students in academic year 2014/2015 Tembi Bantul. The study population was allstudents in fourth grade Tembi as experimental class and fourth grade students Bangeran asthe control class. The samples were overall Tembi fourth grade students were 22 students andfourth grade students Bangeran as many as 11 students. This study design used quantitativeresearch methods. Collecting data in this study used the test method. The test method used isthe pre-test and post-test were given to the experimental group and the control group.Analysis of the data used is a statistical method t test (t-test). Results of the data analysis t test (t-test) obtained value = 12.7754. At the significance level (α) = 0.05 earned value = 2.0441.Then thitung ≥ t tabe is 12,7754 ≥ 2,0441, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion of this study was the influence of cooperative learning through the medium of snakes andladders game on learning outcomes of students Subjects IPS in Tembi Bantul elementaryschool year 2014/2015.Keywords : Cooperative Model, Media Snakes and Ladders, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Language learning is aimed to achieve proficiency properly. To achieve objectivesof language learning cannot be separated from aspects of grammar. One way toachieve the grammatical aspect is by using a test. The purpose of language test isability and skill in language not knowledge about language. Range of aspects aremeasured based on the types of tests used in the test questions at the end of thelearning/ formative. This research aimed to determine language aspects tested at theend of each semester. This study used a qualitative approach and data sources in theform of the exam end of semester 1 and 2 grade 1 to grade 6. Techniques of datacollection is done by collecting data source in the field and read the data source.Data analysis phase consists of three stages: data reduction, classification,presentation of data and drawing conclusions.The results showed there were aspectsof language such as phonology, morphology aspect which consists of free and boundmorpheme, the process of reduplication or repetition, syntactic aspects that formphrases and sentences as well as aspects such as semantic meaning.Keywords: Final Exam, Linguistic aspects

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of learning models to studentachievement. Learning models compared between NHT-CTL, NHT and direct instruction.Method of research used quasi experimental with the factorial design of 3x1. Populationof this research was all students class VIII in SMP Negeri at Madiun City. The samplingtechnique using a stratified cluster random sampling. Samples in this research were 266students with 91 students as experimental class I, 88 students as experimental class II and87 students as control class. Data collection methods used documentation andtest.Hypothesis testing was performed using one-way analysis of variance with unequalcells. Based on the results of hypothesis testwere concluded that NHT-CTL learningmodel gave better achievement than NHT learning model and direct instruction, whileNHT learning model and direct instruction gave the same achievement. Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive multimedia – based instructional mediain order to improve students listening and reading skills. This research refers to thedevelopment of 4-D method. 33 test subjects as children. Validation of researchinstruments are sheets, observation sheets, questionnaires, and learning tests. Datacollection techniques used validation and observation techniques. Techniques of dataanalysis used qualitative descriptive data. Lesson plan results demonstrate feasibility canbe trusted with a good reliability of the instrument category. The observation of studentactivity meets the criteria specified limits effectiveness. Based on the questionnaireresponses of students, learning with interactive CD was interesting. Student learning outcomes showed positive development. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of a Science Technology Society model accompanied with Mind Map to empower the ability to science procces skills. This study was a quasi-experimental study. The study used a one-group pretestposttestdesign.The populationofthestudywasallstudentsofgradeXofPublicSeniorHighSchool 7 Surakarta in the academic year of 2013/2014. Sample was take nusingcluster random sampling technique with a sample of 27 students. The instrument usedwas questionnaire, observation sheets, interviews, and tests. The ability to KPS data wastested with the Paired sample t-test and calculated by N-gain. The results showed theeffectiveness of STS models accompanied with MM, in whichit had been successful inincreasing the ability to KPS with a value of N-gain of 0.54 and the result was significanceat p = 0.000, making the ability be long to “medium” category. Based on the results ofresearch and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that STS model accompanied withMM was effective in empowering the ability to KPS of the tenth graders of Senior HighSchool 7 Surakarta in the academic year of 2013/2014.Keywords: Science Technology Society (STS), Mind Map (MM), ScienceProccesSkills

Abstract

The objective of this research is to found out the influence of transformational leadership and job satisfaction toward organizationalcitizenship behavior of the teacher in primary school Kras District of Kediri.This research used quantitative approach. The participants of the research are159 teachers of 30 primary school Kras, District of Kediri. The data foundusing closed model questionnaire instrument. The data analyzed using pathanalyzing, with the help of SPSS PASW Statistics 18 program. The results of theresearch show that there is a significance influence between transformationalleadership and job satisfaction toward organizational citizenship behavior ofthe teacher in primary school Kras, District of Kediri. The transformationalleadership contributes 15.1% while the job satisfaction contribution is 20.4%.Other variables beyond this research contribute 64.5%.Keywords: transformational leadership, job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior

Abstract

The character is a distinctive personality of each individual to live and work,both in the scope of the family, community, nation and state. Arts and culture inelementary school in 2004 as a core curriculum capacity building in the field ofaesthetics has a potential role to support and realize the whole Indonesian humancharacter. This study describes the implementation and building constraints positivecharacter of students in arts and culture in SDN Jogodayuh 1, District Geger, MadisonCounty. This study used a qualitative research design with a phenomenologicalapproach. Triangulation of data is done by using triangulation and triangulationmethods. The results of this study indicate that many of the benefits obtained by thestudents in the study of art and culture in primary schools include: (1) deepenwonderfully flavors, (2) knowledge of the objective and subjective elements, (3)strengthen the love for the arts and culture, (4) foster subtlety of flavor, (5) deepen theculture, (6) assess the work of art, (7) awareness on the negative effects, (8) to strengthenpublic confidence, (9) discipline, and (10) provide extensive insight and provision forspiritual and psychological life.Keywords: character education, elementary school, learning art and culture.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the vision SETS elementary science learning with discovery learning method. To know effectivity elementary science teaching tools in growing SETS visionary science process skills and instill values in themselves and to know the implementation learning devices in the classroom. This study is a research & development (R & D / Research and Development) is a software product developed science learning in Fifth Grade Elementary School envisions SETS with discovery learning method. Based on the results of analysis show the validity of the learning value is 4.12 on a valid category. Average student has good science process skills, the average percentage of the value of > 70 %, the effective development of learning tools for to build values in students. Average student learning outcomes in the category of either > 70, the development of learning outcomes appropriate to apply > 80 % of students gave positive responses. SETS visionary science learning by discovery learning methods to actively engage students in learning, can improve science process skills, instill values in students, and provide an average of student learning outcomes that achieve average scores > 70. Implementation LKS and LDS assist students in learning, apply science concepts and provide opportunities for students to apply as scientists so as to provide a more in-depth experience of the concept of science.Keywords: development, methods of discovery learning SETS vision, value

Abstract

Mathematics has characteristic in good abstract object. That cause students have difficulty in understanding of mathematics. Therefore, thereal-lifeexperiences ofchildrenin the classroom are important for learning and students will understand thematerial quickly. This study is aimed to describe the activities of students during thelearning process that takes place in the material realistic arithmetic addition andsubtraction and describe the learning completeness students after being taught withrealistic learning the material arithmetic addition and subtraction of integers. This typeof research used in this research is qualitative research. Subjects in this study werestudents of class IV SDN Jenangan, Kwadungan, Ngawi. Based on this research, studentactivities relevant to teaching (teaching and learning) of 98.83% classified in thecategory very well. While the student activity whichis not relevant to the teaching of10.15%. Completeness students in realistic mathematics learning on the materialarithmetic operations of addition and subtraction of integers for fourth grade students ofSDN Jenangan, Kwadungan, Ngawi gained mastery learning students individually of 12students from the number of students as many as 15 students altogether, whichis notcompleted individually as 3 students. Abstract

Many social skills may be learned implicitly, all children can benefit from being taught social skills explicitly, not only children who are developmentallylagging behind their peers. Social skills are not always learned easily. Somechildren may require repeated instruction and reinforcement of learning. It is alsopossible for children to have well-developed social skills in one area but not inanother. The primary objective of the Social Skill Scale (SSS) is to describe thechilds behavior for purposes of socialization and education, rather thandiagnosis. It focuses on the childs adaptation to and functioning within his or herenvironment which is particularly relevant to teachers. The SSS helps teachersdesign classroom interventions that address both the childs strengths andweaknesses. It includes 115 items that can be completed in just 15 minutes byEarly Childhood, a preschool, or Kindergarten teacher.
