Abstract

Road accident has been serious case in Indonesia, the big number of the cases is not decreasing for six years. Many ways have been done, one of example is exploiting smart camera or CCTV to observe mocement estimation explicitly or implicitly. One problem is when explicit-based technique is applied, the computation process would take more resource. Implicit-based technique like exploitting processing-based frequency domain must be tried to make a better study and produce more knowledge in this study field. Color magnification can helpful information to support better movement estimation. This eulerian-based technique may be the one useful method to help this study. This paper implements eluerian video magnification to get color magnification on road as observed environment. This technique produces unexpected result that unknown black color appears, it still ambiguous because some scene can be described as black color object magnification result and another is shocking camera effect so that the technique is difficult to obtain color magnfication result. PSNR results quite better value because in spite of color magnification result distraction, the scenery of the road is not covered fully. SSIM shows that some mapping in each video data can not results same pattern, it is suspicious that SSIM mapping is affected by this color magnification result.

Abstract

Due to the rapid evolution of web applications and computer techniques, visual incompatibility of web pages has become a problem across different browsers and platforms influencing the functionality of the web applications. At the present, researchers have made progress to address such issues; in addition, many commercial tools have emerged as well. However, drawbacks still exist in the existing work, where fully automate testing at the system level is still not achieved. In this paper, we attempt to propose a framework to detect the cross browser visual incompatibilities automatically. Highlights of the proposed framework include template based case organization, version based automation, and similarity embedded incompatibilities identification.

Abstract

The development of the digital world in the field of information technology is so rapid that making the exchange of information easy and fast. Such information may be general or specific. In general information there is no problem for the public, but specific information can not be free in the public. The main problem of the specific information is security, how the information is safe. To overcome these problems can be solved using cryptography and steganography. Cryptography is a technique for securing secret information from uninvolved parties, which the outcome is much different from the original information. Steganography is a technique to secure or hide the secret information on a digital object such as sound, image, vidio that applied results as seen the original information. In this paper proposed a combination of ECB Mode cryptographic method and LSB steganographic method on a digital image. The measurement method are PSNR and MSE to determine the quality of the stego image. Our results are excellent for digital image encryption of RGB and Grayscale type since the resulting image looks like the original image, with the best stego-image proof with MSE is 0.00013, PSNR is 87.00141, SSIM is 1 shown as excellent result.

Abstract

The largest source of protein needed by the human body comes from meat. Basically a high number of buyers and beef is much more expensive than other meats giving chances to irresponsible parties to mix beef with pork, In the Islamic religious teachings, pork is forbidden because consuming pork there is a physical, psychological and very easy to be contaminated by bacteria. Humans have the limitation of identifying beef and pork manually using the senses of human vision are still many weaknesses and less effective. In this research, meat image extraction applies histogram and clustering by applying K-Mean. By applying this method is expected to help to group the image of meat with a high degree of accuracy.

Abstract

Tomatoes have nutritional content that is very beneficial for human health and is one source of vitamins and minerals. Tomato classification plays an important role in many ways related to the distribution and sales of tomatoes. Classification can be done on images by extracting features and then classifying them with certain methods. This research proposes a classification technique using feature histogram extraction and Naïve Bayes Classifier. Histogram feature extractions are widely used and play a role in the classification results. Naïve Bayes is proposed because it has high accuracy and high computational speed when applied to a large number of databases, is robust to isolated noise points, and only requires small training data to estimate the parameters needed for classification. The proposed classification is divided into three classes, namely raw, mature and rotten. Based on the results of the experiment using 75 training data and 25 testing data obtained 76% accuracy

Abstract

This research paper presents our ongoing project aiming at translating in real time an Arabic text to Arabic Sign Language (ArSL). This project is a part of a Web application [1] based on the technology of the avatar (animation in the virtual world). The input of the system is a text in natural language. The output is a real-time and online interpretation in sign language [2]. Our work focuses on the Arabic language as the text in the input, which needs many treatments due to the particularity of this language. Our solution starts from the linguistic treatment of the Arabic sentence, passing through the definition and the generation of Arabic Annotation Gloss system and coming finally to the generation of an animated sentence using the avatar technology.

Abstract

There are many databases projects used by numerous number of organizations. However, embedding business intelligence, BI, technique is a qualitative impact and quite important factor to improve such project’s results and performance. Modern data mining algorithms have dramatically changed our business work, data model and the way we develop software projects. A database application that manages students’ attendance used in university classes is the objective scope that we adopt and work on in this paper. The main key of interest in this research is to improve such attendance system by participating one of data mining classification technique in which we then have a useful learned information and predicted reports about future students’ attendance. Beside this intelligent trait, our work would be crowned with pictorial analytic results that encourage us to have modern and well-mannered intelligent database application.

Abstract

The stage of region of interest (ROI) is the determining part to the next stage in image processing. ROI is a process of taking certain parts or regions in an image. ROI can be done by manual and automatic cropping. Some previous studies still use cropping manually for detection of malaria parasites. This study uses cropping automatically for detection of malaria parasites. The types of malaria parasites used were falciparum, vivax and malariae with ring stages, tropozoite, schizon and gametocytes. Data from malaria parasites were obtained at the North Sumatra Provincial Health Laboratory. The results show that the ROI image can crop the malaria parasite region. Keyword - malaria parasite, ROI.

Abstract

In this modern age, the impact of globalization is increasingly entering and expanding into most societies. One impact of globalization makes people prefer to learn the language and use a foreign language rather than the local language, especially the Java language. It is very influential on the knowledge of the community about the existence or the existence of Javanese Letter, especially in the field of education. In this study, In this research will be made an application to recognize the writing of Javanese Letter based on Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Matching templates correlation can be used as pattern recognition methods. How the Template Matching Algorithm works by matching the template image with the test image after going through the Pre-processing and segmentation process. From the research that has been done by using 10 character template and 20 data testing get accuracy equal to 93.44% and error rate 6.56%. So the Matching Template Algorithm can well recognize the Javanese Letter pattern.

Abstract

In this study, batik has been modeled using the GLCM method which will produce features of energy, contrast, correlation, homogenity and entropy. Then these features are used as input for the classification process of training data and data testing using the K-NN method by using ecludean distance search. The next classification uses 5 features that provide information on energy values, contrast, correlation, homogeneity, and entropy. Of the two classifications, which comparison will produce the best accuracy. Training data and data testing were tested using the Recognition Rate calculation for system evaluation. The results of the study produced 66% recognition rate in 50 pieces of test data and 100 pieces of training data.
