Abstract

The stage of region of interest (ROI) is the determining part to the next stage in image processing. ROI is a process of taking certain parts or regions in an image. ROI can be done by manual and automatic cropping. Some previous studies still use cropping manually for detection of malaria parasites. This study uses cropping automatically for detection of malaria parasites. The types of malaria parasites used were falciparum, vivax and malariae with ring stages, tropozoite, schizon and gametocytes. Data from malaria parasites were obtained at the North Sumatra Provincial Health Laboratory. The results show that the ROI image can crop the malaria parasite region. Keyword - malaria parasite, ROI.

Abstract

Gaji pegawai merupakan hasil kinerja yang diperoleh pegawai selama bekerja, adapun dari kenaikan gaji dikarenakan dari kelayakan atau keberhasilan pegawai dalam mencapai progress yang telah ditentukan oleh pihak perusahaan. Suatu upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja pada PT. Dwi Tama Prima Sakti adalah memberikan kenaikan gaji kepada pegawai  yang layak mendapatkannya. Dalam pemberian kenaikan gaji kadang kala tidak sesuai dengan hasil kinerjanya. Pemberian kenaikan gaji sering kali dipukul rata  atau kadang kala pemberian kenaikan gaji hanya dengan memperkirakannya saja, tanpa penerapan perhitungan. PT. Dwi Tama Prima Sakti bergerak di bidang rental construction equipment dimana perusahaan ini menerima jasa pengerjaan tanah, memindahkan bahan bangunan, serta rental alat untuk bangunan yang mana dalam penentuan kenaikan gaji pegawainya belum menggunakan aplikasi komputer. Penentuan kriteria dalam pemilihan kelayakan dari kenailkan gaji ada 4 kriteria diantaranya masa kerja, prestasi, beban kerja dan pendidikan. Sehingga dari 20 data pegawai yang bisa diambil keputusan Layak atau tidaknya  dalam  penentuan kenaikan gaji diranking lebih besar dari nilai 8 terhadap perhitungan metode WASPAS.

Abstract

Malaria is a health problem in Asia, especially in Indonesia. Malaria is an infectious disease, through the bite of a female Anopheles mosquito. Data sourced from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, there are 261,671 cases of malaria in Indonesia, one hundred of which claimed human lives. There are 28% in Indonesia living in malaria endemic areas for low, medium and highlands. Medical examination takes a long time, one example for examination of malaria parasites is with a microscope. The examination microscope has a hundred fields of view. Digital image processing is an image manipulation process to get better image results. The stages begin with ROI (Region of Interest), image improvement, segmentation with Otsu thresholding, extraction of shape and texture features and classification using LVQ. Digital image processing can help in the medical field, especially for disease identification.

Abstract

The rapid growth in the use of electric motorcycles has increased the need for a damage diagnosis system that is fast, accurate, and easily accessible. The process of identifying faults, which still relies on manual inspection, often requires considerable time and depends heavily on the expertise of technicians. This study aims to develop a web-based intelligent system capable of automatically diagnosing electric motorcycle faults using the Naïve Bayes method. This method is chosen due to its ability to perform probabilistic classification with good accuracy, even when dealing with limited data. The developed system utilizes symptom data and types of faults as the basis for probability calculations to determine the most likely damage. The system development process includes data collection, model design, algorithm implementation, and system testing. The testing results indicate that the system is able to provide fast and consistent diagnostic recommendations based on the symptoms input by users. With the implementation of this system, it is expected to assist both users and technicians in conducting initial identification of electric motorcycle faults more efficiently, thereby accelerating the repair process and reducing the potential for diagnostic errors.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan untuk menyediakan sistem pembayaran Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan (SPP) berbasis Android di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Azrina sebagai alternatif dari proses pembayaran manual yang selama ini digunakan. Sistem pembayaran konvensional dinilai kurang efisien karena menimbulkan antrean, membutuhkan waktu lama, serta rentan terjadi kesalahan dalam pencatatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi pengamatan langsung, pemetaan kebutuhan mitra, sosialisasi kepada pihak sekolah dan wali murid, serta penerapan aplikasi Android yang memungkinkan transaksi dilakukan secara digital. Berdasarkan hasil implementasi, penggunaan aplikasi mampu mempercepat proses transaksi, mempermudah proses pengecekan pembayaran, dan meningkatkan ketepatan penyimpanan data keuangan sekolah. Meski demikian, tidak semua pengguna dapat memanfaatkan sistem dengan optimal karena terbatasnya pemahaman teknologi dan akses internet yang tidak merata. Secara umum, sistem pembayaran SPP berbasis Android ini dinilai layak diterapkan dan berpotensi digunakan secara lebih luas apabila disertai pelatihan lanjutan dan integrasi dengan sistem keuangan digital. Abstract

The development of digital technology requires vocational high school students to have additional skills relevant to the needs of the creative industry, one of which is graphic design. This community service activity aimed to improve the skills of students at SMK PAB 8 Sampali, Department of Computer and Network Engineering, in creating graphic designs using Adobe Photoshop and applying them to creative printed products on hardcase media, such as wooden clocks, mugs, phone cases, and other merchandise products. The activity was carried out through training, demonstration, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation of participants’ works. The materials included an introduction to basic graphic design concepts, the use of Adobe Photoshop tools, layout arrangement, color selection, text application, image editing, and file preparation for printing or screen-printing processes. The results showed that participants were able to understand the basics of graphic design, use basic Adobe Photoshop features, and produce simple designs that could be applied to hardcase media. This activity also provided students with insight into creative business opportunities in design, digital printing, screen printing, and custom merchandise.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital, khususnya programming (coding) dan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence), menuntut generasi muda untuk memiliki literasi digital yang memadai. SMA Islam Alulum Terpadu sebagai institusi pendidikan berbasis keislaman membutuhkan penguatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan agar mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dasar tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan mengenai coding dan AI melalui pelatihan praktik langsung. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan participatory training yang melibatkan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan secara aktif dalam sesi pengenalan konsep, praktik membuat program menggunakan Chat GPT dan Canva, serta pemanfaatan platform AI generatif dan AI no-code. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada tingkat pemahaman tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, yang ditunjukkan melalui perbandingan nilai pre-test dan post-test, peningkatan kreativitas dalam mini project, serta antusiasme tinggi terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi fondasi bagi pengembangan kurikulum ekstrakurikuler berbasis teknologi di sekolah.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan visualisasi konsep matematika siswa melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan Web GeoGebra sekaligus memperkuat kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital ke dalam pembelajaran. Program dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep abstrak matematika, khususnya geometri dan fungsi, terbatasnya penggunaan media visual interaktif dalam pembelajaran, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi oleh guru di sekolah mitra. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan metode pelatihan partisipatif berbasis workshop dan pendampingan implementatif yang mencakup tahap koordinasi, asesmen kebutuhan, pelatihan penggunaan GeoGebra, workshop pembuatan media visual, pendampingan implementasi di kelas, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut keberlanjutan program. Peserta kegiatan terdiri atas guru matematika dan siswa sekolah mitra dengan instrumen kegiatan berupa modul pelatihan, pre-test dan post-test, lembar observasi, dokumentasi kegiatan, serta evaluasi persepsi mitra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang ditandai oleh kenaikan capaian hasil belajar, peningkatan partisipasi dan keterlibatan siswa selama pembelajaran, serta bertambahnya kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan GeoGebra sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif. Secara kualitatif, kegiatan juga menghasilkan perubahan suasana pembelajaran menjadi lebih eksploratif, interaktif, dan berpusat pada siswa, disertai meningkatnya komitmen sekolah untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam praktik pembelajaran matematika. Analisis temuan menunjukkan bahwa model pelatihan, workshop, dan pendampingan yang diterapkan tidak hanya menjawab permasalahan mitra terkait visualisasi konsep matematika, tetapi juga berkontribusi terhadap penguatan digitalisasi pendidikan dan pengembangan praktik pengabdian masyarakat berbasis inovasi pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, program ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan Web GeoGebra efektif sebagai strategi penguatan visualisasi konsep matematika sekaligus model pengabdian berkelanjutan untuk peningkatan mutu pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the computer network competency of Vocational High School (SMK) students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) through simulation-based network configuration training. The methods used include partner needs analysis, preparation of training materials and modules, implementation of training using network simulation software, and evaluation of participants' understanding and skills through observation and discussion. A simulation-based approach was applied to overcome the limitations of physical practice devices and increase learning effectiveness. The results of the activity showed that the training was able to improve students' understanding of computer network concepts and their ability to perform basic network configuration independently. Students also showed increased confidence and readiness in facing network practices in school and the workplace. Thus, simulation-based network configuration training can be an effective learning alternative in supporting the improvement of SMK TKJ students' competency.

Abstract

This community service program implemented practice-based digital marketing and coding training to strengthen students’ digital entrepreneurship competencies at Bina Satria School. The program integrated experiential learning and project-based learning through website development using HTML, PHP, and MySQL, product catalog management, and digital promotion activities. Thirty students participated in six groups. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, identical pre-test and post-test questionnaires, and project assessment. The 12-item questionnaire was reviewed by three experts. Internal consistency testing yielded Cronbach’s α = 0.683 and standardized Cronbach’s α = 0.715. Before the training, 83.3% of participants reported no or limited understanding; after the training, 73.3% reported understanding or high understanding. All six groups completed functional website projects with scores ranging from 88 to 91. The findings indicate an aggregate shift toward higher understanding and support the practical feasibility of integrating coding and digital marketing in contextual entrepreneurship training. Because the evaluation used categorical descriptive data without a comparison group or paired inferential analysis, the findings do not establish the program’s causal effectiveness.
