Abstract

Aceh is one area in Indonesia which has the best sunshine throughout his season. Banda Aceh region of Indonesia, especially in continual sunlight for 11-13 hours a day. From these facts, Banda Aceh is an area with the potential to make solar electricity as an energy source. From the research that has been previously applied solar energy is an energy efficient and economical and reliable environment because solar energy is harnessed as a clean electrical energy with no pollution, easy to transport, close to the center so that the burden of the energy distribution is very simple. This research aims to develop technological innovations sourced electricity generation from solar energy. Converting solar energy into electricity using Photovoltaic working principles. Abstract

The use of electronic devices cannot be separated from the electricity usage. Meanwhile, the continuously device use willimpact on the electricity cost incurred to the users. An electricity price is increasing steadily, particularly in Aceh province, while the power base is still insufficient. A Light bulb for the lighting purposes in one of the electricity devices used in households, offices and other institutions. Switching on the bulb for unoccupied room is not rare to happen, which lead to the inefficiency usage of electricity. An automatic control device which incorporates the sensor technology is needed to address the issue. This automatic sensor deviceuses a passive infra red sensor and microcontroller Arduino Uno. Implementing this sensor system, the incurred electricity cost to the customers can be reduced. Abstract

Betacyanin pigments from red pitaya fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) could be an alternative source of natural red colourant for food application. The extraction of betacyanin pigment was extracted from the flesh of red pitaya fruits grown locally in Malaysia by using water as the extracting solvents. Spray-drying technique was also performed on the pigment extracts to increase the stability and shelf life of the pigment extracts obtained. Two types of maltodextrin with different DE’s (10 DE and 25 DE) and mixtures (10 DE + 25 DE) were used as coating agents in the spray drying technique to give a total soluble solid (TSS) ranging from 20 % - 30 %. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of different types of maltodextrin on the morphology of pigment powder. The morphology of the red pitaya pigment powders produced at drying temperatures (200 ˚C) in the spray drying technique were characterized by using Scanning Electron Microscopy. The morphology of pigment powders upon storage (0 - 6 months) with the ascorbic acid (0.1 % and 1.0 % w/w, respectively) addition was also investigated. Maltodextrin 25 DE had smoother outer structures when compared to 10 DE. The SEM micrographs showed that 10 DE samples had more surface indentations and cracks in wall system. Abstract

Design of Mikrotik-Based Hotspot Server Network In School Building SMP Negeri 6 Banda Aceh aims to manage existing network connections with the Router. For Router management to fit the growing needs in an agency, need to be done by coding / script is quite complicated. SMP Negeri 6 Banda Aceh is an institution of educational unit. In the process of its development, especially in the field of Internet network requires adequate configuration. Without leaving the security system. By using Mikrotik RouterOSTM we can set router configuration by using Graphic User Interface (GUI) through Winbox facility so it is more User friendly. In addition Mikrotik also has facilities Bandwidth management and firewall that all that we can set in accordance with the needs on the computer network. The system development method that I use in developing this journal is Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method as it is in accordance with the subject of continuous computer network configuration which includes Analysis, Design, Simulation Prototype, Implementation, Monitoring and Management. Abstract

Land is an area on the surface of the earth that can produce natural resources for the development of agricultural enterprises. The original income of the district in Aceh Besar comes partly from the agricultural sector, the Land Potential Index has significant significance in its utilization. Land use should be in accordance with the potential land owned on each land. This research uses five parameters in determining Index of Land Potency (IPL) that is slope of slope, rock type (lithology), soil type, rainfall and flood disaster. This research uses blinded and overlapping methods. The result of this research is map of land potential index of Aceh Besar Regency. The map produces five potential classes of land consisting of very low grade, low grade, middle class, high class, and very high class. From the research result, it is found that the area with very low land potential is 4.31%, the area with low land potential is 52.90%, the area with the medium potential is 22.66%, the area with high land potential is 6 , 97% and area with very high land potential that is equal to 13,17%. Sub-districts with the highest widest potential land index in Aceh Besar District are located in Seulimeum, Indrapuri, Kuta Baro and Montasik sub-districts with 4,299.68 ha, 3,938.37 ha, 3,146,23 ha and 3,070,03 ha respectively.Keywords: land potential, geographic Information system, overlapping

Abstract

The success and development of the current android capable of occupying the highest position gadgets and computer market, it is certainly due to the sophistication of technology systems and applications that are on it are currently a trend among mobile users because it can help all areas of work so that it becomes easier. The advantages of this android is located on an open source license so it is possible for anyone with an android programming ability to create or develop applications to run on Android-based gadgets. Library is one of the facilities which assist in the provision of resources in the educational process because the library provides lending facilities without any cost burdened. To expedite the process of search services and lending by the borrower to the library, we need a system that allows the members of the library to access library services, especially the process of borrowing books online using android based mobile application library. This study will integrate mobile application library with the Library Information System simulation database used in the Library of the Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Bontang. Abstract

Development of multimedia makes the delivery of information becomes more practical. Banda Aceh is a city that has tourism potential which is a relic of history. The problem is the media to promote the tourist attractions and historic sites is not maximized. For that created an interactive application that contains information on tourism in the city of Banda Aceh. In scientific writing, create interactive applications Banda Aceh tourism using Adobe Flash CS6. This application is interactive in which the user can choose the location where you want to know. The interactive application is also accompanied by a minimalist travel map containing tourist sites. It also added amenities of the town and a glimpse of information contains the address of the tourist attractions. Output is later is a file-based application exe (Execute) file and swf (Small Web Format) files which contains information on tourism sites in Banda Aceh. Output of the file will be saved in the long term and more practical. This application is expected to be used by the people of Banda Aceh to promote tourist places in the city. Abstract

Digital map is consisted of a number of files that used to be applied as the basis elements, like dots, lines and space, in making a map. Each of those elements has been marked according to its administrative code area stored in a computer. The objective of this paper is to design an application for goods placement in supermarkets based on website, thus make the costumers easier in finding location of goods they wish to buy. This research used direct interview and observation method in a supermarket and its employees. With the facility given to the admin and user, it enables them to use this system properly according to their needs.  This system is designed by marking the coordinates of all available racks in the supermarket which are have their own specific information. This application is run well with additional features like searching goods and searching goods based on its type.Keywords: Digital map, supermarket

Abstract

The needs of the software must be started from the parties involved in the development of a system to be built. The statement describes the needs of consumers or users of the system, nor the clien stokeholder though. In order to get the system needs to do some activity or activities include: requirement elicitation requirment, analysis and negotiation, requirement documentation, validation requirement. This activity aims to produce a document called document specification. Of some sort of method to analyze the needs of the system, one of the methods that can be applied on requirement engineering is the method of Viewpoint Oriented Requirements Definition (VORD). VORD method is one method used to define needs with an approach viewpoint (point of view) the users of the system. The results of the analysis of the VORD method this will generate requirement specification with the help of a tool i.e. VORD tool. Abstract

Besides carefulness factor, the time required to evaluate the best lecturers also influence the policy making. Especially with the large number of participants lecturers, would require a long time to make decisions and human resources needed to evaluate the best lecturers in taking decisions cepatr, precise and objective. Decision support systems research the best lecturer at the University of Indonesia Ubudiyah (UUI) is using the weighted product method. The process of the weighted product methodis to determine the weight values for each criterion, then do the process rank to select an alternative from a number of alternatives exist. The system is made in this study is a dynamic system, according to the type of existing needs.
