Becoming woman representatives either in politics or other organizations requires good will, self- support, and morality. If necessary, it requires supernatural and spiritual strength. The biggest challenge of woman representatives is how they can maintain their family’s harmony and unity. This must always be the main target of success of any woman representatives.

Abstract

The teaching of morality to the youth is directed to make them acquire good behavior and live happily ever after. It is undisputable that the youths are responsible to succeed leading the country. It means that they need to be empowered and given sufficient chance to develop themselves and empower their potential. In the education context, morality must be inserted in the teaching of any subject matters.

Abstract

Abstract

Merit can be understood as the standard of how human being behaves in relation to others. Merit or moral value can be classified in some categories depending on the perspectives by which such merit is viewed. In general, merit is classified into two, namely formal and material. This writing is intended to discuss how such classification works within the context of Islamic education. It is believed that Islamic merit only remains as subject matter but it is not internalized into students’ way of life. Thus, even though students achieve high scores in their Islamic subject matter, their behaviour is not acceptable in the society.

Abstract

Undang-undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 is a law that manage all of educational system, included Islamic educational system. Based on the law, Islamic educational implementation in general school has streght and weakness. The streght of it is Islamic educational implementation as a element of the education system can help to reach the national education purpose. Meanwhile, its weakness can find for several aspect such educational result, matter and time allocation, Islamic religion teacher, environment, and Islamic learning methodology.

Abstract

Madrasah as one of Islamic education in Indonesia has a long history in this nation. Formally, madrasah is developed as a response toward two important conditions, those are the reformation of Islam in Indonesia and education under supervision of Dutch. The implication of such condition in modern era is the issue of the decree of three ministers that reduce the problem dualism in education and the improvement of the quality of madrasah. The issue of such decree is a stepping point to integrate madrasah to the national system of education.

Abstract

Children in a family like banana trees, which bear fruit only once. Through its fruit, banana tree not only can grow up with dignity but also can be affected by disease; withered, thin, and then die with no edible fruit. So are children in a family, they could make their family proud, or they could fall into the darkness and obscurity. Based on this disturbing phenomenon, Islam encourages family as much and as early as possible to direct the development of children so as to grow up with dignity in the world and the hereafter.

Abstract

According to the perspective of marketing, Islamic education institution is categorized as a non profit organization. It is an activity to serve students and stakeholders. Since principally the function of the institution to serve, therefore, the marketing strategy is done by: identification of the market, segmenting and positioning of the market, differentiating product, and marketing communication. Through implementing those strategies, an educational institution can compete with others. In other words, by implementing certain strategies, an educational institution can win the competition, especially in improving the number of students from year to year.
