The growth of population and the development of economic level in this global era indirectly have an enormous impact on the development of architecture in Bali. As a tourist destination by both domestic and foreign tourists, the architecture in Bali has grown and is difficult to control. The entry of various foreign elements will ultimately dominate the local architecture of Bali. This has begun to be seen from the emergence of various views of the building with the current architecture that combines various styles to be the center of attention. One of the locations that show it is Kuta Central Park. This study was conducted to find out how the existence of Traditional Balinese Architecture against foreign elements that tend to dominate. The method used is qualitative descriptive analysis technique. This analysis will be directed to a descriptive explanation of how the shape of an architecture is located in the research location, and how it correlates with the effort to maintain the traditional Balinese architecture. The result of the research has shown that the combination of architectural style in the research location resulted in the absence of traditional characteristics that should still be displayed to provide local cultural identity. The mixing of architectural styles in the research location decreases the existence of local Balinese architectural features. The look of local architecture is no longer the main point of design emphasis on research sites. The 'contemporary' look that brings together multiple styles makes local architecture a mere complement to the necessary design.

Sumber daya manusia merupakan aset utama dalam organisasi, maka sudah selayaknya karyawan diperlakukan secara layak dan adil sehingga dapat melaksanakan tugas dengan penuh semangat. Beberapa variabel diyakini berpengaruh terhadap semangat kerja seperti pendidikan dan hubungan indutaial. Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh semangat kerja karyawan, (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh hubungan industrial terhadap semangat kerjakaryawan, (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan dan hubungan industrial secara simultan terhadap semangat kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di perusahan Asuransi Jiwa Bersama (AJB) Bumi Putra 1912 Kantor Cabang Ubung Denpasar tahun 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner untuk mendapatkan data. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang berjumlah 41 orang. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda, korelasi berganda, determinasi, uji t dan uji F. Hasil yang didapat adalah (1) pendidikan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap semangant kerja karyawan, (2) hubungan industrial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap semangant kerja karyawan, (3) pendidikan dan hubungan industrial secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap semangat kerja karyawan

The increasingly fierce competition market requires an entrepreneurto always innovate on their products so that their sales can undoubtedly be top of the market line. Kacang Disco Kecak Mama is one of the micro enterprises that is available and ready to win the hearts of peanut lovers. This company often uses their peanuts as souvenirs, which is a highy sought after consumer product in Bali. They offer a variety of flavors such as original flavor, super spicy, cheese, barbeque, pizza, squid, shrimp, grilled fish, milk egg honey, and soybean. The name of Kacang Disco Kecak Mama comes from the founding enterpreneur’s hobby of enjoying “disco”, and the other part of the name “kecak” derived from the kecak dance which is a typical traditional Balinese dance and the last part “mama” comes from the desire of the entrepreneurto always have his mother’s blessing so that his endeavors always run smoothly. Twenty five employees are able to produce 250kg, which correlates to about 500kg of Disco Kecak Mama after processing. Some weaknesses in the promotion system, the shortage of electric scales in packaging and the layout of the packaging space. These weakness create a limited barrier to the entrepreneural company. A shortage in these areas make it difficult to work more efficienty and produce a larger mass product. In accordance with the problems faced by entrepreneur, we have created several solutions to offer that would make the business Kacang Disco Kecak Mama more advanced. Here are the following solutions created : (1) an advanced online tactical system either through website or social media (facebook and instagram) so as to reach consumers wordwide (2) create a neon box as a means to introduce this effort to the community, (3) electrical scales for product consumtion, this increases efficiency so that the entrepreneur is able to obtain the expected profit, and (4) renewal of packaging space, which mandates that employees would work more efficiently. From this dedication, kacang disco kecak mama felt the benefits of the increased order that was originally only 200pcs of peanut wrappers in a day increased to 400 pcs, causing they decided to increase the number of employees who originally only 25 people to 40 people, and employees feel comfortable with a well-organized work environment. With the increase in orders this means kacang disco kecak mama’s income has increased.

This research was conducted at SMK in Bali which aims to develop a model of communicative English test for SMK Tourism in Bali by involving students of English Education Study Program as the final project of language tesing. This research is conducted for two years using Research and Development method so that the developed product can be believed to be correct and accurate. The research was conducted because the crucial important problem faced by SMK Tourism teachers in assessing the ability of communicative English students so that teachers and students know their true ability in English communication in order to improve the quality of learning so that students will be ready to work in various tourism industries. In the first year, research was focused on establishing a communicative English test model based on analyzing an English test that already exists at SMK Tourism in Bali and then designing a model of Communicative English test for vocational students in Bali.

This study aims to determine the effect of prosedural, organizational culture and job satisfaction on OCB in PT. Ciomas Adisatwa is located at JL Raya Kaba Kaba, Dauh Yeh, Kediri, Tabanan. Population in research is all employees of PT. Ciomas Adisatwa. The sample in this research is permanent employee which amount to 34 people.Data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis.The results show that prosedural justice has a positive and significant effect on OCB,organizational culture has a positive and significant impact on OCB and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on OCB.

Along with the rise of Bali tourism from the Bali bombings that can not be denied affecting the export market of apparel in Bali, garment business is now starting to rise again. The products produced by garment entrepreneurs are also increasingly varied and creative. This is evidenced by the increasing number of garment entrepreneurs both multi-national scale, international, and home-based. Generally, nowadays, international and national garment entrepreneurs are handing out the process of sewing and coloring to smaller (home) entrepreneurs to get cheaper prices and the cost of production can be suppressed by large entrepreneurs. Partners in this program are two IRT Subhan and IRT Concerned Budi Utomo. Subhan garment business and screen printing business Budi is one of the many small entrepreneurs (home) who became business partners of multi-national and international garment entrepreneurs in Denpasar. This program is interesting to implement because both partners have the potential to grow but the business is still home industry that still use the machine with limited amount and manual processing. The results that have been achieved in this program involves three aspects namely aspects of production and management aspects. Aspects of production include the procurement of pleret machines, press machines, screen printing tables, and the arrangement of production space. From the aspect of management is done counseling and guidance of simple way bookkeeping. The other result has been achieved in the form of teaching materials. The targets in this program are scientific publications on journals, increasing quantity and quality of products with the addition of plating machines, press machines and screen printing desks, improving understanding of simple bookkeeping, and increasing turnover on partners with new engine procurement.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the quality: 1) the level of clarity of the method used by the teacher, 2) the teacher's enthusiasm level, 3) the interaction done by the teacher in the class, 4) the quality of setting & arrangement of the subject, 5) step of giving information, 6) assessment criteria in the classroom, 7) teacher's voice, 8) level of proximity relation between teacher and student. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive approach with purposive sampling method. So determined two schools namely SMP 3 Denpasar and SMP Saraswati 1 Denpasar which became the location of research. A total of 2 model teachers were observed using teacher teaching behavioral instruments, and interviews and as data triangulation used 2 observers and 73 students as respondents. The results showed that in 1) the clarity aspects of teaching post-certification biology teachers in Denpasar City with a total mean of = 3.90 and being in good qualification 2) the aspect of teacher's enthusiasm is in good category with total mean = 3.57, 3) The interaction aspect to develop student participation is in good category with the total mean = 3,73,4) the arrangement aspect for arranging subject of teacher lessons is in good category with mean total = 4,18,5) aspects of steps in giving information teachers are in good category with the total mean = 4.04, 6) the aspects of teacher learning and teacher's criteria are in good category with the total mean = 4.08,7) the teacher characteristic aspect is in either category with the total mean = 4.13 , 8) aspects of the teacher's sound characteristics with the students are in the medium category with the total mean = 3.29, and the need for improvement.

Balinese community’s local tradition frequehtly becomes inspitations to authors in creating their literary works. three prose written by Oka Rusmini in this study were based on Bali daily life which focuses on caste hegemony nproblems that mostly bexpereinced by the female characters. These three prose are Kenanga novel, Sagra novellette, and Tarian Bumi novel. the results of the analysis showed that caste hegemoni min these three works is reaveled through language, culture, social life, as well as social activities.

Program IbM ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan para guru di SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi dalam menulis artikel ilmiah dan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pegawai perpustakan dalam penataan ruang perpustakaan. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan dalam program IbM ini adalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab, dan simulasi. Metode ceramah dipilih untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang strategi menulis artikel ilmiah dan strategi dalam menembus jurnal-jurnal ilmiah. Dengan pemberian penjelasan ini diharapkan para guru peserta pelatihan memiliki pemahan yang komperhensif berkaitan dengan penulisan artikel ilmiah. Metode tanya jawab sangat penting bagi para peserta pelatihan, baik di saat menerima penjelasan tentang penulisan artikel ilmiah serta saat mempraktekkannya. Metode ini memungkinkan guru-guru menggali pengetahuan sebanyak-banyaknya tentang penulisan artikel ilmiah dan juga pengalaman setelah praktek menulis artikel ilmiah. Selanjutnya, metode simulasi ini sangat penting diberikan kepada para peserta pelatihan untuk memberikan kesempatan mempraktekan materi pelatihan yang diperoleh. Kegiatan IbM ini dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, 13 Mei 2017 di ruang guru SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi dengan diikuti oleh 52 orang peserta. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut adalah sebagai berikut. 1) Guru-guru sangat tekun mengikuti seminar dan pelatihan, mereka aktif mengajukan pertanyaan, dan melakukan kerja sama yang baik dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah. 2) Meningkatnya pemahaman guru-guru tentang penulisan artikel ilmiah dan strategi dalam menembus jurnal ilmiah 3) Meningkatnya pemahaman para pegawai perpustakaan dalam penataan ruang perpustakan. 4) Modul penulisan artikel ilmiah ber-ISSN. Modul ini dapat dijadikan referensi ketika para guru ingin menulis artikel ilmiah. Berkat bantuan modul ini para guru mampu menghasilkan artikel ilmiah yang siap untuk diterbitkan pada jurnal yang diinginkan.

This study aimed to determine the application of task-based learning in improving the questioning ability to teacher of English Education Study Program. This type of research was classroom action research with research procedure including Initial Reflection (IR), Planning (P), Actions (A), Observation (O), Reflection (R) and Revised Planning (RP) done in two cycles. The subject of the research was the teacher candidate studentsin seventh semesterof English Education Study Program,Faculty of Teacher Training and Education,Mahasaraswati Denpasar University. The result of this research was the questioning ability of teacher candidate students increasedby Task-based learning application. From the result of preliminary test in pre cycle, it can be found that the ability of seventhsemester students of B class in constructing the question according to English grammar was still low seen from the preliminary test result of 35 students on pre cycle showing only 4 (11.42%) students who were able to achieve minimal passing grade, was 70. In cycle I, the ability of students began to increase with a total of 17 (48.57%) students have reached a minimum passing grade. In the second cycle, the students' ability in cycle II increases significantly with the total number of 32 (91.42%) students have reached the minimum mastery. The improvement of students' questioning ability by the application of task-based learning was also supported by the result of student questionnaires where 99.82% of students respond positively to the implementation of task-based learning.
