Abstract

Research mapping of disaster-prone areas / social conflicts in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province, is intended to mapping the identification of vulnerable areas of social conflict, finding out the source of the problem (root) causes of social conflict as well as solutions and recommendations for conflict prevention and cessation of various approaches, local.Based on the description of the data presentation and the summary of the research results (problems and potential threats of conflict) at the research sites are not very different, there are some similarities of current and future conflict identification, in sequence the potential threat of conflict is more dominant in aspects of Poleksosbud, Boundaries and aspects of SARA.Based on the description of potential disaster / conflict potentials mentioned above, alternative solutions and recommendations for preventing and stopping social conflicts in East Kalimantan include the need for synergy between the roles of government, TNI - POLRI, private sector and key figures, peace advocacy, creating and optimizing social communication based Local wisdom, identification of potential threats to social conflicts, and enforcing strict law enforcement against perpetrators of destruction / Korlap / in charge of social conflicts.

Abstract

The nurse is one of the important organs in health care centers, in addition to other health professionals such as doctors, midwives, nutritionists, health analyst, and others who are a team that can not be separated from one another in their duty to provide health care that is optimal to community.As the spearhead of duty in Community Health Centres, the main tasks of the nurse is to implement Nursing, which perform the nursing process from simple to complex, in collaboration with a team of other health professionals such as doctors, physiotherapists, nutritionists and other other critical identifying nursing services required include discussion or exchange of opinion in determining the form of services further, and not the health personnel assigned to provide treatment to patients like a doctor, as stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1239 2001 On Registration and Practice Nurses.The phenomenon that occurs today is the discrepancy application of authority among health workers, both among doctors, midwives and nurses, that there are some actions that are kewenagan doctor but worked by nurses mainly stationed in health centers, as well as establish a diagnosis, prescribe medication , conduct treatment measures within and outside the health center building, inspection kehamilandan delivery assistance.This paper aims to determine the limits of authority as well as the nurse in charge of legal protection, especially for nurses on duty without the assistance of doctors in public health centers. By using normative juridical research method, the results of this paper is expected to provide knowledge about the importance of legal knowledge for nurses, so they are more cautious in the line of duty.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the effectiveness of government policy, resources and culture of the local economy to increase economic empowerment of society. The effectiveness of government policy (X1), resources (X2) and culture of the local economy (X3) as the independent variable and the economic empowerment as the dependent variable. This research is located in the city of Samarinda, East Kalimantan. Samples were taken at random as many as 100 families were considered to be representative of the population with the data collection instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, using SPSS version 16.0.1.            From the data analysis it is concluded that the effectiveness of government policy, resource, economic cultural society has positive and significant impact on the improvement of economic empowerment in Samarinda, East Kalimantan province with multiple linear regression equation Y = 0.636 + 0,040X1 + 0,042X2 + 0,753X3. Whereas the value of R² (coefficient determination) of 0.653, which means that all independent variables affect the dependent variable changes in value amounted to 65.30%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of libraries inincreasing interest in library visitors at Dinas Perpustakaan KotaSamarinda and to know the services provided in increasing interest inreading the library visitors at Dinas Perpustakaan Kota Samarinda.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Thetechnique used is Purposive Sampling and Accidental Sampling technique. Inthis study, the authors also use survey research, interviews, anddocumentation in order to obtain data on the Role of Library in ImprovingReading Interest of Library Visitors at Dinas Perpustakaan Kota Samarinda.The results showed that some of the role of libraries in increasing theinterest of reading library visitors at the Dinas Perpustakaan KotaSamarinda hasn’t run smoothly, namely the availability of a completecollection of books and the provision of adequate facilities. As forsocialization activities and services to library visitors have been running, butnot maximized because of the obstacles.In conclusion, the role of the Library in Improving the Interest ofVisitors Library at the Dinas Perpustakaan Kota Samarinda is still notmaximal in the implementation of its activities, because constrained thelimited budget funds, wide working areas, and inadequate facilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruhinformasi SiLPA APBD, Arus Kas Aktivitas operasi, Investasi, danPembiayaan/pendanaan terhadap penganggaran belanja modal padakelompok pemerintah kabupaten/kota dengan kemampuan keuangan tinggi.Penelitian ini juge bertujuan untuk mengetahui an menganalisis pengaruhinformasi SiLPA APBD, Arus Kas Aktivitas Operasi, Arus Kas Investasidan Arus Kas Pendanaan Terhadap penganggaran belanja modal padakelompok pemerintah kabupaten/ kota dengan kemampuan keuangan sedang.Permasalahan penelitian ini dinyatakan dalam research Questionsebagai berikut : Apakah informasi SiLPA APBD, Arus Kas AktivitasOperasi, Arus Kas Investasi dan Arus Kas Pembiayaan/Pendanaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penganggaran belanja modal padakelompok pemerintah kabupaten/kota dengan kemampuan keuangan tinggimaumpun kemampuan keuangan sedang?Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Akuntansi SektorPublik yang berfokus pada SiLPA APBD, Laporan Arus Kas,PenganggaranBelanja Modal. Hipotesis penelitian ini yaitu Informasi SiLPA APBD, ArusKas Aktivitas Operasi dan Arus Kas Investasi, Arus KasPendanaan/Pembiayaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penganggaranbelanja modal pada pemerintah kabupaten/kota dengan kemampuankeuangan tinggi maupun kemampuan keuangan sedang. Alat analisis yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Regresi linier berganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, SiLPA APBD danArus Kas Operasi Ar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penganggaran belanjamodal pada pemerintah kabupaten/kota dengan kemampuan keuangantinggi. Kedua, Arus Kas Investasi dan Arus Kas Pendanaan/Pembiayaanberpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap penganggaran belanja modal padapemerintah kabupaten/kota dengan kemampuan keuangan tinggi. KetigaSiLPA APBD dan Arus Kas Aktivitas Investasi dan Arus KasPembiayaan/Pendanaan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap penganggaranbelanja modal pada pemerintah kabupaten/kota dengan kemampuankeuangan sedang. Keempat, Arus Kas Aktivitas Operasi berpengaruhsignifikan terhadap penganggaran belanja modal pada pemerintahkabupaten/kota dengan kemampuan keuangan keuangan sedang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Organizational Culture onEmployee Performance At Department of Transportation in Samarinda City.The result of the research shows that there is a positive andsiginificant correlation between Organizational Culture variable withEmployee Performance at Department of Transportations in Samarinda City.Another thing can be known from the result of statistical test KoefisienKorelasi Product Moment the result is r = 0,504 which means there is astrong and positive relationship between the two variables.Meanwhile, t test result ( table coefficients) obtained t value counted= 4,038. While the table statistics (ttabel) obtained from table t ( attached) for= 1,677 means t count > t table ( 4,038 > 1,677 ). So it can be concluded that,the independent variable Organizational Culture has a positive and sinificantrelationship to Employee Perfomance. Thus it can be said also that thepurpose of this study can be achieved, the problem can be solved and thehypothesis can be proven.

Abstract

East Kutai Regency as an integral part in the system of RegionalAutonomy Government has the right, authority and obligation ofautonomous regions to manage and manage their own government affairsand public interests of Samarinda City according to the laws andregulations. Autonomous Region is a legal community unity which hasterritorial boundaries that are authorized to regulate and managegovernment affairs and public interests according to their own initiativebased on community aspirations in the system of the Unitary State of theRepublic of Indonesia.The process of community empowerment is one of the keys to socialwelfare. Community involvement, whether physically, thoughtfully,materially or financially, is expected to increase the sense of community andsense of belonging and process of empowerment to the community. Thusthere is a strong link between empowerment and participation.In community empowerment, community participation or involvementis needed in the implementation of empowerment, community participationbased on self-willingness means that villagers participate in empowermentbased on confidence and awareness that comes from within themselves.Community empowerment can be defined as a process that buildspeople or communities through the development of community capacity,changes in community behavior, and community organizing. From thesedefinitions, there are three main objectives in community empowerment:developing people's capacity, changing people's behavior, and organizingthemselves.The purpose of empowerment in the social and cultural field is torealize the welfare of the people which is characterized by the improvementof the quality of decent and dignified life and to give primary attention to thefulfillment of basic needs. The general targets to be achieved are increasing life expectancy, declining rate of population growth, decreasing total birthrate, decreasing coarse mortality rate, increasing social and culturalresilience, increasing position and role of women, increasing activeparticipation of youth, as well as increasing culture and sportingachievement. To achieve these objectives and targets, various social andcultural empowerment policies and programs have been implemented,covering the areas of health and social welfare, including population andfamily planning; culture; position and role of women.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan mengetahui pengaruh utangterhadap nilai perusahaan dan financial distress. Perkembangan perusahaantambang batubara dewasa ini semakin membaik, dari 42 perusahaan Mining andMining Services yang go-public, 23 diantaranya perusahaan tambang batubara yangditeliti laporan keuangan dari tahun 2013-2015. Dengan menggunakan metoderegeresi analisa jalur untuk menguji besarnya pengaruh yang ditunjukkan olehkoefisien jalur pada setiap diagram jalur dari hubungan kausal antara variable utangterhadap nilai perusahaan dan financial distress. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa utang berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan danberpengaruh negative dan tidak signifikan terhadap financial distress. Secara tidaklangsung, utang berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap financial distress melaluinilai perusahaan.

Abstract

Influence Total of Quality Management (TQM), Style Leadership, JobDiscipline and Function of Mentoring to Performance Employees of PT.Kemakmurn Berkah Timber Samarinda.To be able improved Performance Employees in a company ororganization, hence required by factors able to improve Performance itself.As for the factors is Totalizeing Quality Management, Style Leadership, JobDiscipline and Function of Mentoring.This Formula research internal issue is" What is there Total influenceof Quality Management, Style Leadership, Job Discipline and Function ofMentoring to Performance Employees.This Research aim to know Total influence of Quality Management,Style Leadership, Job Discipline and Function of Mentoring to PerformanceEmployees.Method Research by using quesioner with scale of likert. Researchpopulation is entired all employees of PT. Kemakmuran Berkah Timber andof sampel research counted 45 employees people with technique intake ofsampel that is totalizeing sampling.Analyzer the used multiple regression which where beforehand haveto test and validity of reliabilitas and also test classic assumption.Pursuant to result of solution and research hence Totalizeing QualityManagement and Job Discipline have an effect on positive and significant toPerformance Employees, so that Ho refused and Style Leadership not havean effect on positive and not significant, so that Ho accepted. While Functionof Mentoring have an effect on positive but not significant to PerformanceEmployees, so that Ho accepted.From result of this research expected can be used as by input tomanagement side upon which consideration in order to make-up ofemployees performance.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the tradition of the Kutai etnic group’smarriage. The location of the research is in East Kalimantan Province fromSepember to December 2017. The sample is in Tenggarong Regency. Themethod of it is qualitative one. The results of the it is as follows : (1) TheKutai etnic group lives along the river area of Mahakam, (2) They areactually are Dayak etnic group but fetr they follow the Islam religion andthen they are called Halok or halo etnic group to differenciate from Dayaketnic group, (3) They are origionally from Tunjung etnic group, one of theDayak concerned, (4) They are Melay type whom they came here 3.000 yearsgo, (5) They have the tradition of mariage ceremony consists of (5.1) TheBepacar is to redden the nail of the fingers of the couple candidates, (5.2)Mendi-mendi is to water the couple candidates by flowered water, (5.3)Bealis is couple candidates to give eyes list, (5.4) Naik pengantin is to makemale marriage candidates to join in the folkgroup ceremony walking fromhis home to his candidate parents in law where the female candidatemarriage stays, (5.5) Geta ceremony is to make the couple candidaates to sitside by side,here the keypersns read the Islamic ceremony called tarsul inthe form of Arabic poems, (5.6) Naik Mentua is to go to the parents of themale candidate here the couples are watred the feet on the plate, to cut thepeak of coconut leaf. The suggestions of the reasearcher is that thisceremony has to be maintained as the asset of the Indonesian nation because(1) In those proceses have many advice to the youngters to apprciate theparents and the other soft skills advice, (2) This ceremony is the identity ofthe etnicgroup of Kutai, (3) To be the tools of the tourism promotion to getthe original regional income to develop the region, (4) The government ofEast Kalimantan Province should indeed utilize this process of the mariagecorrelated to the public policy in some cases
