Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze: 1) The development of import values, inflation, exchange rates, FDI, and Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves for the period 1996-2017. 2) The influence of Indonesia's import determinants for the 1996-2017 period. In this study, the type of data used is secondary data based on the period 1996-2017. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, namely multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate: 1) The average development of imports is 8.68% per year, the average inflation is 10.30% per year, the average development of the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar is 11.17% per year, the average development FDI is 5.66% per year, and the average development of foreign exchange reserves is 11.83% per year. 2) Simultaneously or together inflation, exchange rate, FDI, and foreign exchange reserves have a positive and significant impact on Indonesian imports. Partially, inflation has a positive and significant effect on Indonesian imports, the exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on Indonesian imports, FDI has a positive but not significant effect on Indonesian imports, and foreign exchange reserves have a positive and significant effect on Indonesian imports. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the productivity of business units and to analyze the effect of business capital, working capital, and labor on the productivity of business units in small blacksmith industries in Koto Padang Village, Tanah Kampung Subdistrict, Sungai Penuh City. This research is quantitative research and the type of data used in this study is primary data in the form of cross-section data on productivity levels, business capital variables, working capital, and labor. The sample in this study amounted to 43 respondents with the instruments used in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The data obtained were processed using SPSS20 with multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of the study with a significant level of 10%, the business capital variable obtained a significant level of 0.060 with a significant value less than 0.1, meaning that business capital affects productivity. The working capital variable obtained a significant level of 0.037 with a significant value less than 0.1, meaning that working capital affects productivity. And the labor variable obtained a significant level of 0.288 with a significant value greater than 0.1, which means that the number of workers does not affect productivity. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trend of macroeconomic variables and gold prices in Indonesia and to determine the effect of macroeconomic variables on gold prices in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used is secondary data from January 2014-December 2019. The analytical tools and techniques used are trend analysis with a linear trend approach and multiple linear regression models using the Ordinary Least Square method. The five research variables that were processed showed that there were differences in the direction of the data trend. Where the variables of Gold Price, Exchange Rate, and Composite Stock Price Index show a positive trend, while the variables of Inflation and World Crude Oil Prices show a negative trend. Furthermore, the variables of Exchange Rate, world Crude Oil Price, and Composite Stock Price Index show a positive and significant influence on the Gold Price in Indonesia. While the inflation variable shows a negative and significant effect on the Gold Price in Indonesia. Keywords: Inflation, foreign exchange,crude oil prices, idx composite and gold prices

Abstract

The purpose of this study are, firstly to analyze exchange rate trends of rupiah, centtral bank policy rates, inflation and money supply in Indonesia from January 2019 to December 2019. Secondly, to analyzes the  effect of central bank policy rate, inflation and the money supply to the rupiah exchange rate in January 2013 – Desember 2018. The method used in this research are descriptive and quantitative analysis with trend analysis tools and multiple linier regression VAR models with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The  results of the study found that, the first trend data from the rupiah exchange rate variable of January 2019 period – December 2019 of IDR 15.145 US$, the central bank’s policy interest rate was 4.5 percent, inflation was 2.15 percent and the money supply was an average of Rp.5.966.9112,17 billion. Secondly, from the processed data it was found that central bank policy rates and the money supply has a positive effect on the rupiah exchange rate of January 2013 period – December 2018. While the inflation variable has a negative impact on the rupiah exchange rate of January 2013 period – December 2018. Keywords : Rupiah exchange rate, Central bank policy interest rate, Money supply

Abstract

  The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze Gross Regional Domestic Product, interest rates and inflation on deposit demand for 2000-2017 period at Commercial Banks in Jambi Province. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis with multiple regression model analysis tools with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. Data processing is performed using the Software Eviews 9.0 program. The results of this study the average development of deposits by 28.87 percent, Gross Regional Domestic Product by 6.20 percent, interest rates by -8.49 percent, inflation by 22.76 percent. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the Gross Regional Domestic Product, interest rates and inflation have a positive and significant effect on demand for deposits with a coefficient of determination of 99.29 percent Keywords: Deposits, gross regional domestic product, interest rates, inflation

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of exchange rates, net exports, FDI, and Indonesia's economic growth in 1998-2017 and to analyze the effect of exchange rates, net exports, and foreign investment (FDI) on Indonesia's economic growth in 1998-2017. used in this study is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical tool used in this study is descriptive and quantitative analysis, namely by multiple linear regression. The research method used in this study is the "Ordinary Least Square (Ordinary Least Square) method. OLS). The test results using OLS show that together the variables of the exchange rate, net exports, and FDI have a significant effect on Indonesia's economic growth. While partially, the exchange rate has a positive and significant effect on Indonesia's economic growth. Meanwhile, net exports have a positive and significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth. Meanwhile, FDI has a positive and significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth. Keywords: Exchange rate, Net exports, Foreign investment, Economic growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence Indonesia's nutmeg exports to Vietnam, with the variables of exchange rates, international prices, and Vietnam's gross domestic product. The data analysis method used is descriptive and quantitative methods, the data analysis tool used is the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) method. Includes annual data for 38 years, with secondary data sourced from the Directorate General of Plantations, Bank Indonesia, and the World Bank as research objects. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression, partial hypothesis testing using the t-test, and simultaneously using the F-test with a significant level of 5%. Based on the results, it can be concluded that partially the exchange rate (NT) has a positive and significant effect on export volume (VE); international price (HI) has a negative and significant effect on export volume (VE), and Vietnam's gross domestic product (GDP) has a positive and significant impact on the export volume (VE) of Indonesian nutmeg. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the socio-economic characteristics of entrepreneurs and the amplang cracker industry business, the magnitude of the amplang cracker industry business income, and the factors that affect the income of the amplang cracker industry entrepreneur in Tungkal Ilir District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. The research method used in this study is a survey method, with descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of data processing using the OLS method in multiple linear regression equations, the results obtained are: The socio-economic characteristics of all amplang cracker industry entrepreneurs are 83.33 percent with a high school graduate/equivalent. The average number of dependents and the number of workers is 4 people. The average net income of Rp. 15,753,334,- per month. Simultaneously, the variables of production costs, the amount of production, and the workforce have a significant effect on the business income of the amplang cracker industry. Partially shows that production costs, and the amount of production have a positive and significant effect on the business income of amplang crackers. Meanwhile, labor has no significant effect on the business income of the amplang cracker industry. Keywords: Production, Labor, Revenue of amplang crackers industry

Abstract

This study aims: 1) to analyze the socio-economic conditions of small pecel catfish trading business in Telanaipura District, Jambi City. 2) to analyze the effect of length of business, working capital, age, education, and the number of dependents on the income of a small catfish pecel trade business in Telanaipura District, Jambi City. This research is quantitative research and the type of data used in this research is primary data in the form of cross-section data about the level of business income, length of business, working capital, age, education, and number of dependents. The sample in this study were all members of the population as a sample with a total of 37 respondents with the instruments used in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The data obtained were processed using SPSS 20 with the multiple linear regression analysis methods. The regression results show that partially only working capital and age variables have a significant effect on the business income of catfish pecel traders, while the length of business, education, and the number of dependents have no significant effect on the income of catfish pecel traders in Telanaipura District, Jambi City. Abstract

Investment (PMDN) and government expenditures have on economic growth in Sarolangun Regency. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of time series data for 2000-2017, in the form of data on economic growth, the number of workers, PMDN, and government spending. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression or Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Based on the analysis results indicate that the workforce has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. PMDN has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Likewise, government spending has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Keywords: Economic growth, Labor, Domestic investment (PMDN), Goverment expenditure.
