Abstract

The analysis of professional competency biology teachers in throughout junior high school Kepenuhan sub-district Rokan Hulu Regency. The aim of this research was to find out the competency of professional biologi teachers at Junior High School Kepenuhan sub-district in development proffesion. The sample of this research were sigh Biologi teachers class VII from six different Junior High School. The data collection technique used was enguette and analized used descriptive statistic. The research finding showed that the development proffesion aspect had the average persentage 61,01%, comprehending know ledge had the average percentage 72,2%, mastery of academic research materials had average percentage 63,88%. Overall the percentage of professional competency Biologi teachers class VII in Junior High School throughout the Kepenuhan sub-district was 65,69% and categorized as enough.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning type of talking stick toward biological student’s learning result on the human moving system at grade VIII of SMP Islam Kepenuhan for academic years on 2014/2015. The method of this study was quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design type. The sample was taken by using non random sampling. The sample was students as experiment class at grade VIIIA and students as a control class at grade VIII B. The instrument of the study was the test. The data analysis used ttest, and obtained ttest= 8,734 of significant 0,05 that ttable = 1,998, so it can be concluded that by ttest > ttable means that alternative hypothesis was accepted.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to know comparation the result of student Learning IPA by using Cooperatif Learning , type Numbered Head Together (NHT) and Group Investigation (GI) methods. Research was carried out in MTs. PP. Hasanatul Barokah, on Desember 2014. Focusing on quaition experiment methods, with Two Group. Sample was collected purposive from 38 student divided into 2 classes, class NHT and GI. The Instrument used in this research is a multiple choice questions test and as a test instrument. The conclusion from the research was done there is an t0 3.928 ˃ ttable 2.042. Is shows the differences in student learning IPA using cooperative learning methods of NHT and GI type.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine class VIII student motivation in Natural Science Integrated teaching (Biology) in Madrasah Private Tsanawiyah Al-Fata the village Pasir Agung. This research is a descriptive study population in this study were all students and teachers of Natural Science Integrated (Biology) thet totaled 42 people and sample in this research is class VIIIa, VIIIb and Natural Science Integrated teacher(Biology). Research conducted at Madrasah Private Tsanawiyah Al-Fata the village Pasir Agung on 29 October to 25 November 2015. The sampling teachnique using total sampling teachnique. Research shows thatlearning motivation Natural Science Integrated (Biology) eighth grade students of Madrasah Private Tsanawiyah Al-Fata the village Pasir Agung Kecamatan Bangun Purba Kabupaten Rokan Hulu learning year2015/2016 according to the Natural Science Integrated teacher (Biology) who teaches gained an average percentage of 85% category of very learning motivation high and Natural Science Integrated (Biology)according to the eighth grade students of Madrasan Private Tsanawiyah Al-Fata obtained an average percentage of 77.29% high category.

Abstract

This aim of this study was to known execution of practical work at study of class student biology of VIIIin SMP Country 3 Kunto Darussalam grade academic year 2014 / 2015. This was a descriptive study. Thesampel was the student of class VIIIA and class of VIIIB taken by simple random sampling till reach the amountof sampel as a whole 53 student. Technique intake of data done by using enquette. Data analyzed by usingdescriptive statistics. Result indicated that; 1) Frequency execution of practical work (75%); 2) Studententhusiasm to practical work (77%); 3) Time execution of practical work (69%) and; 4) Preparation andexecution of practical work (78%). Amount of mean percentage of execution of practical work at study ofbiology (75%) have been applied better.

Abstract

This research purpose to know the performance of teachers in Senior Hight School 1 Tambusai. This research using  descriptive research. The population of this research are  all the teachers in hight school Negeri 1 Tambusai with  totaly 31 people. Use saturated sample for take sampling, that means all members of the population sampled. Techniques of collecting data uses questionnaire with Likert scale technique. The result of analysis data showed mastery of the material with an average percentage of 91.00%, the embodies creativity with an average percentage of 91.00%, the utilization of teaching time with an average percentage of 92.00%, an understanding of students with an average percentage of 86. 00%, and mastery of the state of the class with an average percentage of 94.00%.  The result of  all indicator getting  an average percentage of 91.00% with good criteria.

Abstract

The aim study of this was to know the student learning interest in class VIII to IPA subjects. This is a descriptivestudy. Samples were collected with random sampling techniques. Based on research and analysis that has beendone we can conclude that interest students class learning VIII MTs. PP. Hasanatul Barokah Tambusai Timurat 78% with high criteria.

Abstract

Termites are social insects eating the cellulose that serves as an indicator of environmental changes. This study was aimed to determine the diversity of Termites species (Isoptera) in Bangun Purba Sub district Rokan Hulu District Province Riau. This study was conducted in Mei to November 2o15 by using survey metod. Sample were collected by Finding Colony and Casual Collelction with direct collection. Result showed that the termites belong to 3 families (Kalotermitidae, Rhinotermitidae and Termitidae, 7 subfamilies (Coptotermitinae Heterotermitinae Kalotermitinae Macrotermitinae Nasutitermitinae Rhinotermitinae Termitinae)  ang 14 genera, namely is Bulbitermes, Coptotermes, Cryptotermes, Globitermes, Glyptotermes, Hospitalitermes, Macrotermes, Microtermes, Nasutitermes, Odontotermes, Pericapritermes, Reticulitermes, Schedorhinotermes dan Termes.

Abstract

Study about butterflies (Rhopalocera) around Pasir Pengaraian University campus Rokan hulu regency Riauprovince was conducted in August to December 2014 by using survey method with random sampling techniques.Samples collected by using insect net and cylindrical gauze on the campus gate, around the campus portal, around faculty of agriculture and around midwifery with 4 repetitions. Result showed 7 families, 16 genera and 24 species butterflies. Diversity index values was ranged from 2,19 to 2,48 and concluded in medium category

Abstract

The study aims to determine the tipes of epiphytic  ferm in Orchids (Orchidaceæ) in the village the koto Tinggi Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. This research has been conducted on November to Desember 2015 with the method survey to the location research directly. Orchid which in be later identified with described the types of Orchids obtained. The result of research in can get one the family (Orchidaceæ), 3 species and 12 individual. As for the types of Orchids obtained which are (Arachis flos-aeris, Cymbidium finlaysonium and Dendrobium crumenatum).
