Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of grasshoppers (Orthoptera: Ensifera) contained in the hamlet III village Rambah Hilir Tengah District of Rambah Hilir Rokan Hulu Regency. This study was conducted from September to December 2015 with a survey method to the study site directly. Grasshopper obtained was then identified by describing the types based reference source. Results of the study found a grasshopper with 2 families, 9 subfamily, 13 genera and 16 species. As for the types of grasshoppers that are Conocephalus maculatus, C. melaenus, Conocephalus sp, Elimaea sp, Euscyrtus concinnus, Hexacentrus unicolor, Itara sp, Loxoblemmus parabolicus, Mecopoda elongata, Nisitrus vittatus, Phaulula sp, sp Psyrana, Teleogryllus emma, Teleogryllus sp, Velarifictorus sp and Xabea sp.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of fish that are traded in the market Rambah Samo District of Rokan Hulu. This study is a qualitative research method survey, done in January 2015. Diving research in 18 species of fish that can be found in the District of Rambah Samo market Rokan Hulu, namely fish species kapiek (Barbodes schwanenfeldii), Cork fish (Channa striata) , fish Local catfish (Clarias batrachus), carp (Cyprinus carpio), fish African catfish (Clarias gariepinus), tuna (Euthynnus affinis), fish Barau (Hampala macrolepidota), fish tilan (Mastacembelus erythrotaenia) baung fish (Mystus nemurus) , fish silais (Ompok hypophthalmus), tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), carp (Pristolepis grooti) fish (Osphronemus gouramy), catfish (Pangasius pangsius) fish bag (Pristolepis grooti), lemongrass fish (Rastrerlliger kanagurta) mackerel (Rastrelliger faunghni), bada fish (Rasbora caudimaculata), fish sapek (Trichhogaster leerii).

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of learning model COLEK PIPI (Cooperative Learning KoPicture and Picture) approach about motivation and the results of SAINS students class VIII SMPMuhammadiyah Rambah Rokan Hulu in Academic Year 2014/2015. This study used quasi-experimental. Thesample of study was VIII-1 class experimen and VIII-2 class control. The result of the study showed that themeans persent of learning motivation of quastiionnaire data was 78,56 with high criteria. The average value ofthe experimental class was 80,57 and 76,28. Analysis result use t-test obtained ttest > ttable it shows that there’seffect COLEK PIPI modle approach about result of SAINS students.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine learning outcomes of MAN Pasir Pengaraian students Class X MIA with Think Talk Write (TTW) method by using pictures as media. This was an quasi-experimental study. Sample were the students of class X MIA1 and X MIA2 MAN Pasir Pengaraian. Result showed that studying Biology on Protista subject by using TTW method and picture as media was better whith outusing TTW method and picture as media. The average value of experimental class was 76.85, meanwhile the control class was 60.34

Abstract

This study aims to know skill of teacher science in MTs Thamrin Yahya RambahHilir Rokan Hulu. The population and sample in study it is a whole science teacher MTs Thamrin Yahya Kecamatan Rambah Hilir Rokan Hulu recency collected by the way of chief . The results of the analysis data of skills open and close lessons to the percentage average 81,67 % , skill explain lessons to the percentage average 81,67 % , skill ask with the percentage average 83,33 % , skill hold variation by the percentage average 64,92 %, skill manage class with the average 70,00 % , skill manage small group with the average 80,00 % , skill give strengthening with the average 81,67 % , and latest skill teaching individuals with the percentage flattened with average 65,00 %, to regency got the final average score 76,03 % good categorized.

Abstract

This aims study to investigate the implementation of pedagogical competence of teachers in the teaching ofbiology in high schools in District of Tambusai Utara. This research instrument using a questionnaire andanalyzed by descriptive qualitative. The results of researchin the category ofveryhigh(96,57). Pedagogicalcompetence include: 1) Have an understanding of insight or educational foundation (93.33%), 2) Having anunderstanding of the students (98.33%), 3) Able to develop curriculum / syllabus (93.33%), 4) able to draft thestudy (92.22%), 5) Implement educational and dialogical learning (90.83%), 6) to evaluate learning outcomeswith the correct procedure (87.62%), and 7) able to develop the potential of learners to mengaktulisasikanpotentials (85%).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the appropriation of RPP with biology teacher’s implementation of learning process on Junior High School in Kepenuhan Hulu. The study was carried out from March to August. The method used in this research is descriptive. Population and sample used was Junior High School Biology teacher in Kepenuhan Hulu. Based on the result of analysis the highest value of IPKG-1 was 3,18% with good category while the lowest one was 2,65% with good category. The highest value of IPKG-2 was 3,26% with good category and the lowest one was 2,29% with good category. The conclusion of this study that the appropriation of RPP with biology teacher’s implementation of learning process was 2,82% with good category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the professional competence of high school biology teacher in District Rambah Hilir. This study uses descriptive research. The population in this study is a high school biology teacher in Rambah Hilir with numbered 5 people. Sampling using saturated sample that all members of the population sampled. Data collection techniques using triangulation techniques. The result showed an understanding of teaching materials in the curriculum with an average of 80.63%, understanding the structure, concepts and methods of science teaching materials that overshadow the assessed average of 80.00%, to understand the relationship between the concepts related subjects with 78, 00%, applying the concepts to everyday life with an average of 70.00% and mastering the steps of research and critical studies to deepen knowledge or subject material with an average of 70.00%. Of the overall results obtained an average of 76.33% with criteria quite well.

Abstract

The aims of study was to identify the fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae) species on fruit that traded in Pasir Pengaraian Modern Market Rambah District Rokan Hulu Regency. Study was conducted in October to December 2014, using survey method by way of fruitfly eggs spawned in several pieces that chilies red, mango, papaya, bananas and tomatoes. Results obtained three species of fruitfly Bactrocera carambolae, B. dorsalis and B. umbrosa. B. carambolae found in mangoas muchas 7 individual, B. dorsalis found in mangoas much as 3 individual and B. umbrosa found inred chiliesas much as10 individuals.

Abstract

 This study aim to know thete is effect or not effect of  Direct Instruction with picture media again  result Natural Science students seventh grade junior high school 1 Tambusai Utara in academic years 2014/2015. This type of research i quasi experimental. The sample was take by using Random sampling technique. Type design of research is non randomized control group pretest posttest design. The sample of researc is VIIB as control class and VIIA as experiment class. Data collection techniques in this study is a test instrument in the form of multiple chioce questions. Basad on result of hypothesis testing obtained tcount > ttable (5,14 > 1,67) so can be concluded that there is influence of model Direct Insruction with picture  media against learning result Natural Science Bayologi of the seventh grade junior high school 1 Tambusai Utara  in academik years 2014/2015
