This study aimed to determine the effect of cooperative learning jigsaw on the nature of the biological materialto the results of class X student of SMA Negeri 1 Rambah Rambah Hilir. This was a Quasi-Experiments Study. Samples were the Student in class X1 and X2. Data collecting techniques in this study was a test. The data analysis technique is a âtâ test. Result showed that the value of tcount = 5.128 and ttable at 5% significance level of 2.021. This suggests that tcount > ttable that the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted.

The aim studyofthis research is to know the result of students studiying at class VII SMP Bangun Purba with applying Think Pair share (TPS) stretegy helped by picture media. The kind of this research is quasi experimental. The sample in this research was the student of VII class 1 and 2 of SMP N Bangun Purba. The research was conducted in November 2014. It can be seen from average score experimental class has average score 76,136 with the highest score is 85 and lowest score is 60. While the average of controll class is 70,47 with the highest score 85 and the lowest score is 60. Based on the hypothesis testing, the value of to higher than t hitung > t tabel is 2,455 > 2,054 It can be con cluded that there is the affect of TPS strategy helped picture media toward the result of students studying of VII SMP class of 1 Bangun Purba school year 2014/2015

Bird isa vertebrate which hasfeataer, reproduce by of laying eggs and help pollination, pest predator and supporting ecosystems. The alm of this study was to determine the species of birds in the rice field area of Sand VillagePasir Baru Rokan Hulu. This study was conducted in December 2014 to January 2015 with survey methods. Samples colleceted with random sampling. Results showed4 orders, 8 families, 9 genera and 12 species, with total 167 individuals. The species were Bubulcus ibis, Halcyon smyrnensis, Hirundo rustica, Lonchura leucogastroides, L. maja, L. punculata, L. striata, Padda oryzivora, Passer montanus, Prinia familiaris, Pycnonotus goiavier and Streptopelia chinensis.

The aims of this study was to determine distribution of Bivalvia (Mollusca) in Sipogas Lake Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The study was conducted in November to December 2014 with survey method. Sample collected by using eckman dredge with purposive random sampling, with four stations. Results showed, 1 species was found, it was Corbicula javanica with a total number of 77 individuals. The density was ranged from 17.78 to 64 individuals/m2, with distribution patterns on pattern of grouped distribution.

Study about the diversity of butterflies (Rhopalocera) in Dusun Kumu Baru Rambah Hilir district Rokan Hulu regency was conducted in November to January 2015 by using survey method. Samples were collected by using insect net and cylindrical gauze with 6 repetitions with random sampling techniques. Results showed, several butterfly was found with 7 families, 16 genera and 21 species. Diversity index value ranged from 1.04 to 2.81 and concluded in moderate category.

Research on diversity of bird in palm oil plantations PT Hutahaean Tambusai Rokan Hulu district of Riau have been conducted from November 2015 using survei methods, samples are identified directly in the field. Determination research station based on the by Purposive random sampling, technique with vegetation for station from results, the 8 families, 9 spesies with a total of 29 individu, namely Aegithinidae (Aegithina tiphia), Alcedinidae (Halcyon smyrnensis), Columbidae (Geopelia striata, Spilopelia chinensis), Phasianidae (Coturnix chinensis), Picidae (Dinopium javanense), Ploceidae (Passer montanus L), Pycnonotidae (Copsychus saularis), Sturnidae (Acridotheres cinereus). The bierdâs spesies dominate is Geopelia striata, Spilopelia chinereus (Columbidae). Index diversity is category medium, with value .1.9.

The aim of research is to know the implementation practical biology of high school in Tambusai district. The type of this research is descriftive research. The population of this research is all of students class XI IPAhigh school 1 Tambusai and students class XI IPA high school 2 Tambusai. The research used âpurposive samplingâ is some population to take the sample. The date used was likert scale technique. The analysis result showed high school 1 that frecuency practical implementation with average percentage 81,83%, the student interest in practical with average percentage 88,36%, the time of practical implementation with average percentage 82,00%, preparation and practical implementation with average percentage 88,70%. The analysis result showed high school 2 that frecuency practical implementation with average percentage 65,49%, the student interest in practical with average percentage 75,22%, the time of practical implementation with average percentage 73,00%, preparation and practical implementation with average percentage 86,25%.

Smoked fish is one of the pontential of superior products that are processed through pengasapan Indonesia and drying. This research has been carried out by the method of survey in December 2014 Market Dalu-dalu Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Riau Province. The resesrch aims is to spesies fish that arbitrage in Market Dalu-dalu. Fish that serve smoked fish traded found 10 types of fresh fish, namely: Barau ( Hampala macrolepidota), Baung (Mystus nemerus), gabus (Channa striata), lele jumbo (clarias gariepi ofnus), lele lokal (Claris batrachus), mas (Cyprinus carpio), motan (Thynnichthys polylepis), paten (Pangasius pangasius), selais (Ompok hypophthalmus), and tapah (Wallago leeri).

This study was conducted to investigate the properness of learning media by using specimen ofinvertebrate and vertebrate in topic of animals world at ten grade of Senior High School based onthe result of validation by the expert team and the students responses. This study was conducted inMarch to December 2015. This study used a developing research (Research & Development)based on Dick and Carey model which modified. Data collection was conducted by providingquestionnaires and in analyzing the data by descriptive analysis. The results of this research showsthat the learning media by using specimen of invertebrate and vertebrate in topic of animals worldat teen grade of Senior High School is very good criteria, based on validation of contents experts(92.50%), validation of media experts (82.99%), the individual (89.58%), small group (89.17%)and a field (89.30%) the result is very good criteria.

Study about butterflies (Rhopalocera) in complex of Local Government Region Pasir Pengaraian Rokan HuluRiau has been conduafed in Desember 2014 to Januari 2015 with a survey method with a random samplingtechniques. Samples were collected by using insect net in complex area. Result showed 7 families, 10 generaand 10 spesies of butterflies were found, they were Acraea violae, Amathusia phidippus, Ideopsis vulgaris,Junonia orithya, Neptis hylas, Papilio polytes, Appias libythea, Catopsilia scylla, Elymnias hypermnestra danMelanitis leda.
