Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the extent of reciprocal teaching can improve speaking skill of student of the third grade level of SMKN 1 Rambah Kab. Rokan Hulu and to know the factors influence the improvement of speaking skill of student of the third grade of SMKN 1 Rambah by using Reciprocal Teaching. This research is an action research that is done by three cycles. One cyrcle consist of fivemeetings. The participants of the study are 39 students. The data were collected by speaking test, observation checklist, filed notes/video recording, and interview. The finding showed that the significant influences of Reciprocal Teaching Strategy in teaching speaking

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran penggunaan strategi pembelajaran dengar-lihat-lakukan (DeLiKan) berbasis labortorium mini terhadap keterampilan prosessains (KPS) siswa pada materi besaran dan satuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain “one shot case study” yang dilaksanakan di kelas X MIA 1 salah satuSMA di kabupaten Rokan Hulu Riau pada tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes keterampilan proses sains Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh indikatorKPS sebesar: mengamati 89.23%, berkomunikasi 59.49%, meramalkan 10.26%, menafsirkan pengamatan 33.33% dan menerapkan konsep 85.32%%. Disimpulkan dari hasil penelitian bahwapembelajaran dengan strategi pembelajaran dengar-lihat-lakukan (DeLiKan) berbasis laboratorium mini, berdampak baik pada keterampilan proses sains (KPS) siswa.

Abstract

Experiment conducted by the Curie-Weiss has described the phenomenon of changes in the magnetic susceptibility of a material to temperature changes, but there is no clear simulation. Hence, simulations and graphs to explain that phenomenon is needed. Simulation and graphics created by mathematical equations that have been there from the discussion about the microscopic properties of magnetic materials, particularly of ferromagnetic materials. This aided manufacturing simulation using the Pascal programming language BorlandDelphi compiler. Used in the manufacture of this simulation Monte Carlo method, which utilizes the Metropolis algorithm as its phases and Ising models as zoom.

Abstract

Panglimo Awang story is a literary works of verbal. The narration of Panglimo Awang is a tradition of Malay culture that happens in Pasir Pengaraian. This research was written to describe the values contained in Panglimo Awang Narrative. This research is a qualitative research used descriptive analysis method of content descriptive analysis method . The object of this research is a narrative text of Panglimo Awang that data was collected from spiritual messenger called Tukang Koba . this research data is all of culture and education values that contained in opening sentences, utterance and character of figure in narrative text of PanglimoAwang.The result of this research is presented in form of cultural and education values as following: (1) cultural values about the essence of relationship between human and community with indicatorsrespect each others, responsible and advise, (2) the values of religious education with indicators namely believe in god, sincere and grateful, (3) the values of education such as, toughness, responsible, and hard working (4) thevalues of education concerns by indicators like polite, friendly, nation spirit, and forgiving. Those four cultural and educational values can be implemented in formal education, especially in learning Bahasa Indonesia.

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang “Studi KelayakanPenggunaan Sel Silikon sebagai Pengubah Energi Matahari menjadi Energi Listrik” dengan metoda eksperimen. Eksperimen dilakukan dengan cara merangkai dioda silikon selinder ke rangkaian bentuk paralel dan bentuk rangkaian seri pada pelat rangkaian PCB, kemudian rangkaian ini dimasukkan ke dalam suatu kotak terbuat dari kayu yang diisolasi denganisolator kardus.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the students’motivation and speaking skill through negotiated materials.Negotiated materials means that materiasl come from discussion by teacher and students and these negotiated materials which is based on their students’ study program (Accounting). Motivation means thosestudents’ effort plus desire in speaking activity or in other wordsstudents’ motivation in speaking. While speaking skill means that the capacity of the students to present their materials in front of the class.The participants of this research were the eleventh grade students of Accounting at SMKN 1 PasirPengaraianRokanHulu Riau. This class consisted of 38 students. One of the English teachers took part in this research as collaborator to assist the implementation of Negotiated Materials, particularly in observing the students’ activities in the teaching and learning process

Abstract

Permasalahan dari penelitian desktiptif ini adalah masih rendahnya kemampuan analisis mahasiswa semester tiga prodi pendidikan bahasa inggris Universitas Pasir Pengaraian dalam mengidentfikasi pesan moral di sebuah cerita naratif. Hal ini bisa saja terjadi diakibatkan karena kurangnya frekuensi dan latihan yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa untuk hal tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa tidak semua dari mahasiswa tersebut memiliki kemampuan mengidentifikasi pesan moral dalam sebuah cerita naratif yang bagus. Hal ini dikarenakan oleh beberapa hal diantaranya kurangnya latihan maupun sulitnya mahasiswa tersebut untuk memahami isi dan makna cerita.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the implementation of learning competencies incurriculum in 2013 with the method peers (peer coaching) in SD Negeri 010 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. The subjects of this study were teachers SDN 010 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam as many as 10 peoples. School action research conducted in two cycles. Collecting data in this study using the methods of supervision. Data from research on teacher competence in the implementation of the learning curriculum in 2013 with the method peers (peer coaching) at SDN 010 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. The results showed that an increase in the competence of teachers in the implementation of the learning curriculum at SDN 010 2013 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam with methods peers (peer coaching) has been proven to get results before Peer held couching only 4 teachers who can implement curriculum learning in 2013 correctly. In the second cycle showed an increase in the number of teachers who can implement curriculum in 2013 as many as 10 peoples.

Abstract

This article discusses a simple modification of the variants of Newton's method for solving nonlinear equations. Jain (2013) combines the use of theSecant method with Trapezoidal Newton's method developed by Weerakon and Fernando (2000) and produces new combination Secant-Trapezoid Newton method that has fourth-order convergence. Using Jain's idea, the authors combine the use of the Secant method with two other variants of Newton's methoddeveloped by Ozban (2004), namely Arithmetic and Harmonic Newton. It turnsout that both the new combinations are has fourth-order convergence. Numericalcalculation with several examples of nonlinear equations is used to show that boththe new combinations method are comparable with other fourth-order methods.
