Abstract

Nowadays ICT is rising rapidly, although in fact the effort of mathematics teaching quality is still concerning in cognitive aspect while forgetting non-cognitive aspect. The neglect of affective aspect as well emotional quotient in mathematics teaching contributes to social situation that hamper national character development. So, the development of ICT must be preferred as an alternative for mathematics teaching in order to extend emotional quotient towards national character development. It stands to reason that due to the development of ICT has another side that is likely to increase emotional skills in social life.

Abstract

Menyelesaikan persamaan diferensial sering terkendala oleh masalah syarat awal atau syarat batas. Masalah syarat batas ini sering dijumpai pada penerapan persamaan diferensial, salah satunya adalah rangkaian listrik. Metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah syarat batas pada persamaan diferensial salah satu diantaranya adalah metode transformasi Laplace. Transformasi Laplace yang didefinisikan dengan L{f(t)}= dapat digunakan untuk mencari solusi dari suatu sistem persamaan diferensial koefisien konstan. Metode penyelesaian suatu rangkaian Listrik dengan menggunakan transformasi Laplace adalah dengan mengubah persamaan diferensial dari domain waktu (t) ke dalam domain frekuensi (s), memetakan masalah nilai awal ke dalam persamaan pembantu, menyelesaikan dengan perhitungan aljabar, dan menggunakan invers transformasi Laplace untuk mendapatkan solusi khusus secara langsung dari sistem persamaan diferensial rangkaian listrik tersebut.

Abstract

Pasar modal merupakan tempat bagi investor untuk berinvestasi, dikarenakan investasi merupakan alternatif yang menjanjikan, namun dalam berinvestasi ada dua hal yang harus dipertimbangkan oleh investor, yaitu return dan risiko. Para investor menyadari bahwa dalam berinvestasi semakin tinggi keuntungan yang ditawarkan maka risiko juga akan semakin tinggi. Dengan demikian dilakukan penyebaran dana tidak hanya pada satu sekuritas, tetapi pada beberapa sekuritas. Dalam menseleksi saham efisien yang akan dibentuk ke dalam portofolio optimal maka digunakan pendekatan Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) dengan menggunakan kendala input (Standar Deviasi, Beta, Debt Earning Ratio, dan Price Earning Ratio) dan output (Return, Earning Per Share, Return On Equity, Return On Asset, Book Value Per Share, Price Book Value Ratio, Net Profit Margin), sedangkan untuk pembentukan portofolio menggunakan model Indeks Tunggal. Data yang digunakan dalam Tugas Akhir ini adalah saham-saham yang terdaftar di Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) periode 01 Januari 2012 – 30 Juni 2014, analisis rasio diperoleh dari laporan keuangan terakhir dan data tingkat Suku Bunga Sertifikat Bank Indonesia (SBI) yang digunakan adalah selama periode penelitian. Hasil uji efisiensi dengan DEA-CCR dan DEA-BCC diperoleh 19 saham yang efisien sebagai kandidat pembentuk portofolio, yaitu: AALI, ADRO, BSDE, EXCL, INCO, INDF, INTP, ITMG, JSMR, KLBF, LPKR, LSIP, MNCN, MPPA, PGAS, SMGR, UNTR, UNVR dan WIKA. Saham-saham yang efisien dengan metode Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), diperoleh 2 saham optimal dengan besar dana yang harus diinvestasikan pada masing masing saham yaitu MPPA (59,31 %) dan WIKA (40,69 %) dengan return ekspektasian portofolio 0,002537 dan risiko portofolio 0,000388.

Abstract

This research is analyzing the problem that faced by students of SD Negeri 1 Dinoyo Malang in  difficulty of understanding rectangle area. According to the discussion with their teacher, it is found that the learning still not gives more chance to the students to find out the concept of rectangle area with their own ways. Moreover, some students are difficult in solving daily problem containing model of rectangle area. Therefore it needs great effort to build students understanding on the concept of rectangle area. One of effort that teacher can do is trying to apply the learning based on process standard NCTM. The aim of this research is to describe the learning of rectangle area based on process standard NCTM that believed can help student understanding. The learning process is done through five phases that each using Student Worksheet. The research yields: (1) the increasing of student activities quality from 85% (in the first cycle) to 90% (in the second cycle), (2) the raising of student understanding from 73.5% (in the first cycle) to 82.5% (in the second cycle), and (3) good response from students.

Abstract

Value at Risk (VaR) is one of the tools recommended Bank Indonesia to gauge the risk of an investment, the VaR approach tends to be more associated with the conventional assumption of a normal distribution, while contemporary empirical findings indicate the existence of patterns of abnormality in the nature of statistical data, especially on financial data. Up to this time shares in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) is still heavily influenced by the dynamics of market volatility which one, so the necessary in-depth analysis to help investors make the right decisions in investing. This research addresses the issue of risk analysis model using the VaR approach using a variety of model Heterokedastic Timeseris Conditionals (CHT) and find the best model. As for the data used is the daily closing stock index data-Sharia stocks (JII) post-crisis global 2008 (January 2009 – June 2011) and the software used is E-Views 5.1 and Excel 2007. The results obtained are of 16 (sixteen) model approach to VaR-CHT used, only 5 (five) a valid model on a confidence level of 99%, i.e. Approach (2.2) GARCH, GARCH M standard deviation GARCH (1,1), M Log (Variansi) (1,1), TARCH M Log (Variansi) (1,1), EGARCH and M Log (Variansi) (1,1). The VaR Model of the CHT are the best and recommended in analyzing the risks of stock investment is Shariah (JII) is a model that gives the value of the VaR model, i.e. the smallest VaR GARCH-M standard deviation (1,1) that gives the value of VaR is equal to 3.2396%.

Abstract

Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) intergrated campus computer network built since 1995. Development of UII integrated campus computer network is using a star topology and fiber optic (FO) cable. Considering that the star topology is the topology that requires a lot of wires, this study was conducted to determine and examine how the application of graph on the FO cable network UII integrated campus in order to minimize the cost, because FO cable network can be modeled by a graph where the buildings as points, while FO cable that connects to each building as a line. This type of research that is used here is a case study, in which data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation. This study used 4 algorithms, that is Kruskal algorithm, Prim, Boruvka and Solin algorithm to find the Minimum Spanning Tree. Based on the research that has been done, the conclution about the troubleshooting steps of optimization UII integrated campus FO cable network based graph theory has been got. From the four algorithms obtained the most optimal results FO cable length 4.700 meters long and is 1.590 meters cable lines. While the results of observations made, it is known that the existing computer network in UII integrated campus has a cable length of 6.120 meters and 2.050 meters long track. The results of the analysis showed that the resulrs of the study 23.2% more optimal than the existing computer networks in UII integrated campus.

Abstract

Ruang metrik merupakan salah satu konsep yang penting dalam ranah analisis fungsional. Dikatakan penting karena konsep ruang metrik banyak dipakai dalam teori-teori matematika yang lain dan sering dipakai juga dalam studi fisika lanjut. Ruang metrik adalah suatu himpunan yang berlaku suatu metrik. Metrik adalah suatu fungsi dengan domain sembarang himpunan yang tak kosong menuju kodomain bilangan real atau fungsi bernilai real dengan definisi urutan dalam bilangan real. Pada tahun 2007 Huang Long Guang dan Zhang Xian menggeneralisasikan konsep ruang metrik menjadi ruang metrik cone. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji konsep dasar ruang metrik cone yang meliputi mengkaji barisan konvergen, barisan cauchy beserta contohnya dan hubungan barisan konvergen dan barisan terbatas dalam ruang metrik cone, mengkaji hubungan ruang metrik dan ruang metrik cone dan mengkaji salah satu teorema titik tetap dalam ruang metrik cone. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur yaitu dengan membahas dan menjabarkan konsep-konsep yang sudah ada di dalam literatur. Diharapkan dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran umum tentang konsep dasar ruang metrik cone. Selanjutnya dari penelitian ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa setiap ruang metrik adalah ruang metrik cone dengan ruang Banach dan cone tertentu dan juga dapat dibuktikan bahwa pemetaan kontraktif pada ruang metrik cone dengan cone normal mempunyai titik tetap tunggal.

Abstract

This research aims to develop mathematical teaching materials based on sharia economy for madrasah tsanawiyah students with good quality. The method used in the study is the development model adapted from Borg & Gall is the preliminary stage, development, and validation. The preliminary stage includes literature studies, analysis of the needs and characteristics of students, and to plan and choose the design of teaching materials. The development phase includes determining the competence standard, basic competence, indicators, and the subject matter, compiling teaching materials math, and prepare research instruments. The validation phase includes validation expert and revisions. Results of the study are social arithmetic teaching materials based on sharia economy. Each material begins with the problem of economic comparison of Islamic and conventional. The feasibility of the value of teaching materials is Very Good for aspects of the look and Very Good for the material aspects. With these criteria very well, teaching materials are feasible for use in the learning of mathematics in the social arithmetic material.

Abstract

One of the mathematics learning purposes is using reasoning in patterns and properties, mathematical manipulation in making generalization, compiling evidence, or explaining mathematical ideas and statements. Mathematical learning based on behaviorism has been seen as less successful in instilling character of mathematics reasoning. Therefore, it is necessary to find alternative learning not only teaching but instilling character of mathematical reasoning. This paper offers constructivist in mathematics learning, which is one of the ways to involve the use of inductive-deductive thinking. Activities that involve students learning to use the inductive-deductive mindset needs to be designed and implemented by teachers. Using inductive thinking can be conditioned, especially in the process of understanding a concept or generalization. Deductive thought patterns can be conditioned to improve mathematical reasoning, for example, in the proofing. The mindset of inductive and deductive mathematical reasoning is difficult to separate in the mathematical reasoning therefore it is regarded involving the use of inductive-deductive thinking.
