Abstract

Yogyakarta offers many tourist attractions, from nature based tourism, culinary tourism until cultural tourism. With so many tourist attractions offered by Yogyakarta, tourist often finds it difficult to arrange their travel schedule (from choosing which tourist attractions to be visited until choosing which route tourist should takes to maximize their vacation time). Therefore, it’s required to have a way to determine the shortest tour route so tourist can make their tour in the Yogyakarta effective. This problem can be categorized as Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) case. There are a lot of methods can be used to find the shortest route in Travelling Salesman Problems (TSP) case. To solve the problem, which is to find the shortest tour route in Yogyakarta, Algorithm Best-First Travelling will be used in this undergraduate thesis. The implementation of Algorithm Best-First Search to find the shortest tour route in Yogyakarta can be used to produce a solution for tourist to choose the shortest tour package and decide which route they should take. The premium tour package produces tour route from Adi Sucipto Airport-Gembira Loka Zoo- Purawisata-N’dalem Gamelan Hotel-Yogyakarta Palace-Benteng Vredeburg Museum-Taman Pintar-Tamansari-Adi Sucipto Airport with distance covered 20.297 meter. The middle tour package produces tour route from Tugu railway station-Benteng Vredeburg Museum- Taman Pintar-Yogyakarta Palace-Mawar Asri Hotel-Tamansari-Purawisata-Gembira Loka Zoo-Tugu railway station with distance covered 11.772 meter. The economy tour package produces tour route from Giwangan bus station- Gembira Loka zoo-Purawisata-Yogyakarta Palace-Mitra Hotel-Benteng Vredeburg Museum-Taman Pintar-Tamansari-Giwangan bus station with distance covered 14.037 meter.

Abstract

In this paper the observability of continuous descriptor system of the form Ex(t)= Ax(t) Bu(t), x(0)=x0 will be studied, where  E,A, and B are constant matrices that may be singular and u(t) is piecewise continuous function which is differentiated (m-1) times, where m is the degree of nilpotency system. Two definitions about observability of descriptor systems  along with their characterizations given by Dai and Yip will be both discussed, then further the relationship and comparison between these characterizations will be presented.

Abstract

Equation Telegraph is one of type from wave equation. Solving of the wave equation obtainable by using Greens function with the method of boundary condition problem. This research aim to to show the process obtain;get the mathematical formula from wave equation and also know the form of solution of wave equation by using Greens function. Result of analysis indicate that the process get the mathematical formula from wave equation from applicable Greens function in equation which deal with the wave equation, that is applied in equation Telegraph.  Solution started with searching public form from Greens function, hereinafter look for the solving of wave equation in Greens function. Application from the wave equation used to look for the solving of equation Telegraph.  Result from equation Telegraph which have been obtained will be shown in the form of picture (knowable to simulasi) so that form of the the equation Telegraph.

Abstract

Saham adalah salah satu sekuritas yang sering dipilih untuk melakukan investasi. Dalam investasi saham, seorang investor harus membuat portofolio optimal agar memperoleh hasil yang memuaskan (return tinggi atau risiko rendah). Salah satu metode untuk membentuk portofolio optimal adalah metode mean-varians yang diperkenalkan Markowitz, tapi metode ini mempunyai asumsi yang sering tidak terpenuhi dalam kenyataannya. Sehingga Markowitz memperkenalkan metode meansemivarians dari pendekatan risiko menurun. Dalam prakteknya, metode mean-varians lebih sering digunakan daripada metode mean-semivarians karena perhitungan mean-semivarians yang lebih sulit. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh saham yang termasuk pada saham Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) periode Juni 2013 – Mei 2015.  Indeks Sharpe portofolio metode mean-semivarians adalah 0,020098155.

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) represent one of main indicator to support the academic atmosphere at the university. Therefore UIN Sunan Kalijaga (Suka) Yogyakarta has owned sistem information technology and it is called Academic Information System (SIA). UIN Suka shall has knowledge preference and perception of consumer to the service, which is like what required by consumer. By using Conjoint Analysis method would have been obtained combination from level-level factor (stimuly) took a fancy by consumer according to value of highest utility from every level factor.  The objective of this research is to measure preference level of consumers (students) to the SIA services in UIN Suka used Conjoint Analysis method. The result shows that the most important factor in using SIA service is the benefit (importance value is 66,623%, the second important factor is accesibility of SIA ( importance value is 19,227%) and the last important is ability of staff  (importance value is 14,15%). According to value of utility estimate, it shows that consumers like to use SIA for key in courses (utility estimate is 2,104), online service (utility estimate is 0,577) and SIA staff who are very friendly when they were servicing the students (utility estimate is 0,210).

Abstract

In this paper geometric algebra and its aplication in the theory of classical electrodynamic will  be studied. Geometric algebra provide many simplification and new insight in the theoretical formulation and physical aplication of theory. In this work has been studied aplication of geometric algebra in classical electrodynamics especially Maxwell’s equations. Maxwell’s equations was formulated in one compact equation ÑF=J. The various equation parts are easily identified by their  grades.

Abstract

Glycerol is a derivative product of biodiesel transesterification process to obtain methyl ester. Glicerol derivative made from esterification of glycerol and acetic acid with the aid of a catalyst. In this study acetylation residual glycerol production of biodiesel using silica catalyst sulfate from rice husk ask with parameter ratio of reactants, reaction time, reaction temperature, the amount of catalyst and stirring speed. Results from linear regression analysis showed that the equation with reaction time variations have the highest representation of the data that is 0.9984. This is supported by forecasting analysis to predicted the results of experiments with independent variable reaction times. This indicated by the small value of the error either by using MAD, MSE, MAPE and Tracking Signals. This is mean that the equation with independent variable reaction time can be used to predict the results of a qualitative reaction.

Abstract

The portfolio is a combination or aggregation of two or more individual stock and concern for investors is to form the optimum portfolio and one of the ways that can be used are Multi-Index Models (MIM). This Model is a development of the Single Index Models (SIM), if on a SIM only consider one factor that affects the value of the stock, then return at MIM considers more than one factor. This study discusses the optimal portfolio analysis using Multi-Index Models with a case study on the stock of the Sharia Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) period 4 January 2010 – 1 July 2013 by using composite stock price index (IHSG), index Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) and index the Hang Seng Index as a factor in MIM. The results of this research were obtained that the optimum portfolio is a portfolio that was created based on the stocks that had the highest positive return value, i.e. UNVR 41,40%, SMGR 40.66%, KLBF 11.01, and LPKR 6,93% with a value of expected return portfolio amounted to 2.55% and risk of a portfolio of 0,29%.

Abstract

Pendistribusian produk berperan penting dalam dunia industri. Salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan perusahaan untuk mengoptimalkan pendistribusian produk adalah meminimalkan biaya tranportasi melalui penentuan rute optimal kendaraan yang disebut dengan VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem). Tujuan dari VRP adalah menentukan rute optimal yaitu rute dengan jarak minimum untuk mendistribusikan produk kepada konsumen. Salah satu variasi VRP adalah Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP), yaitu VRP dengan kendala kapasitas kendaraan. Kasus CVRP tersebut dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan Algoritma Tabu Search. Cara kerja Algoritma Tabu Search dimulai dengan penentuan initial solution menggunakan Nearest Neighbor,  evaluasi move menggunakan metode 2-Opt, Relocated, dan Exchange, update Tabu List,  kemudian apabila kriteria pemberhentian terpenuhi maka proses Algoritma Tabu Search berhenti jika tidak, maka kembali pada evaluasi move. Proses perhitungan Algoritma Tabu Search dilakukan secara manual dan rancang bangun menggunakan MATLAB pada PT Sinergi Bio Natural. Berdasarkan proses perhitungan manual dan rancang bangun diperoleh dua solusi optimal yaitu rute dengan jarak terpendek dengan total jarak optimal sebesar 101,1 km.
