Abstract

  Modern markets are those that are managed in a more modern manner. Modern market management necessitates a competent marketing mix in order to disseminate information, offer goods and services, encourage consumers to buy, and even establish personal preferences for a product's image. Tampan District contains 140 modern marketplaces, including the Modern Jumbo Mart Delima market, which sells a variety of community needs, including the most comprehensive sort of vegetables. The study objectives are as follows: 1) Understanding consumer perceptions of the marketing mix 2) Examining the impact of the marketing mix of product, price, location, service, and promotion on consumer behavior. This study was conducted at the Jumbo Mart Delima Modern Market in Pekanbaru City's Tampan DistrictPurposive sampling was used to identify respondents, with the criterion that customers be 17 years old and have shopped at least twice. In this study, descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were employed to analyze the data. According to the findings of this study, product, price, location, and service all have a substantial impact on consumer behavior, while service has no impact.

Abstract

Hydroponics is one of the cultivation technologies that is able to produce products with good quality. The specialty of hydroponic vegetables has attracted consumers to consume these products so that demand arises. This study aims to (1) analyze the factors that affect the demand for hydroponic vegetables in Pekanbaru City, and (2) analyze the elasticity of hydroponic vegetable demand in Pekanbaru City. The study was conducted in 4 modern markets spread across Pekanbaru City with a total sample of 40 respondents with purposive sampling method. The analysis used in the study was multiple linear log regression analysis. The results showed that (1) factors that significantly affect the demand for hydroponic vegetables are the price of hydroponic vegetables, household income, consumer knowledge, and lifestyle with a coefficient of determination (R2) value of 86.60 percent.  (2) The demand for hydroponic vegetables is inelastic to the price of the goods themselves, the price of other goods, and income so that hydroponic vegetables include normal goods and substitutions.

Abstract

Farmers convert land from rubber to oil palm in order to increase their revenue. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence rubber land conversion to oil palm in Benteng Hulu Village, Mempura District, Siak Regency. The sampling approach employed was simple random sampling, with 60 sample farmers, 30 of whom converted land and 30 of whom did not convert land to oil palm. Descriptive analysis and logistic regression were employed in the analysis. According to the findings of the study, farmers' ages are still in the productive range, their land area is typically 0.1-3.5 ha, The bulk of their education is at the high school/equivalent level, they have more than 10 years of agricultural experience, and the maximum number of dependents a farmer has is 0-2 individuals. The model feasibility test results show that there is no discrepancy between the two estimates of the logistic regression model and the observation data, indicating that the model is feasible and appropriate for usage. The Omnibus test of model coefficients was performed to ensure that the independent variables are FIT with the model, which means that they have a real influence on the model when combined. The R square value indicates a 51.2 percent chance that the independent variable influences the dependent variable. The Wald test reveals that the factors of rubber production and oil palm farming revenue have a minor impact on land conversion.

Abstract

The conversion of rubber trees to oil palm is a collaborative effort by smallholders affiliated with the Wisma Tani KUD and PTPN V. The collaboration exists to help smallholders who are struggling to get funding to convert rubber plants to oil palm. The purpose of this research is to identify the characteristics of smallholders who took part in the conversion of rubber plants to oil palm at Wisma Tani KUD Rokan Hulu Regency. Understanding the extent of smallholder engagement in the implementation of rubber to oil palm conversion activities at Wisma Tani KUD Rokan Hulu Regency. Understanding the impact of smallholder characteristics on smallholder participation in the implementation of rubber to oil palm conversion operations at Wisma Tani Hulu Regency KUD Rokan. This study used cluster random sampling and was done in Hot Water Village, Pendalian IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency, with a sample of 40 respondents. Descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis were employed. According to the findings of this study, smallholder participation in the planning stage is high, medium in the execution stage, high in the evaluation stage, and high in the exploitation of results. Education and land area have a substantial effect on smallholder involvement, whereas age, experience, and income have no significant effect on smallholder participation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the green marketing mix strategy in the Koplak Food Agroindustry. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The author conducted interviews, observations and documentation to collect data. The data analysis technique used is the data analysis technique of Miles and Huberman. The result of this research is the application of green marketing mix on green product indicators indicated by organic products and during the manufacturing process while maintaining cleanliness. The application of Green price can be shown by setting a relatively more expensive price, but the price is in accordance with the quality of the product. The application of a green place can be seen that the production house is always kept clean. The application of green promotion is that the promotion is carried out in a transparent and educative manner through exhibitions and promotional media owned. Koplak Food's agroindustry has not included a logo on environmental friendliness on the packaging, namely eco label and eco brand. So the recommendation that can be given is to immediately register for ISO 14001 certification in order to be able to provide an environmentally friendly logo on the packaging.
