Abstract

Di Kampung Ulau Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, terdapat sekitar 5 orang pengrajin gula aren dengan cara pembuatan yang masih tradisional. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah: (1) tempat produksi yang kurang baik dan tidak hiegenis; (2) pemanasan tidak terkontrol dan (3) kegagalan produksi gula aren. Maka kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pembinaan kepada masyarakat Kampung Ulau dalam meningkatkan pendapatan melalui pelatihan untuk meningkatkan produksi dan mutu gula aren. Pelatihan dilaksanakan oleh tim pengabdian dari Fakultas Hukum dan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Riau. Materi pelatihan meliputi: (1) Prospek bisnis aren dan variasi olahan (2) teknik penyadapan nira arent; (3) perlakuan pasca panen nira dan (4) proses pengolahan gula cetak. Pelatihan dihadiri oleh 30 peserta. Indikator tercapainya target pelatihan terlihat dari peserta yang termotivasi untuk lebih serius mengelola pembuatan gula aren. Pelatihan memberikan ketrampilan sekaligus motivasi untuk mengolah nira aren. Kualitas gula aren ditentukan oleh teknik penyadapan nira segar dan penanganan nira.

Abstract

Provision of government assistance to the SISKA (integration of cattle and oilpalm) program has encouraged farmers to form groups. One component of the aid was the communal stall which is a joint enclosure developed in one location. The development of communal stalls is not always successfully maintained by the groups. This study aimed to analyze the perception of SISKA farmers on the role of extension as well as the driving and inhibiting factors of the extension role. The study was conducted in Kecamatan Pangkalan Lesung and Kerumutan Subdistrict of Pelalawan District based on the existence of 11 groups of farmers who still apply SISKA. The analytical method used was perception analysis by average scoring method and perceptual mapping by spiderweb graph. Sampling was conducted by census in 11 farmer groups with a total of 125 members (38 farmers who applied individual stalls and 87 farmers who applied communal stalls). The results showed that the perception towards extension of farmers applying communal stalls was in “good”category, while the perception of farmers applying individual stalls was in “less good” category. The role of extension workers in both systems that has not been functioning was in facilitating farmers to partner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sikap dan perilaku belanja konsumen untuk produk minyak goreng curah dan kemasan. Penelitian dilakukan di Kota Pekanbaru, dengan pertimbangan merupakan ibu kota Provinsi Riau serta adanya perbaikan tingkat ekonomi dan perkembangan ritel modern dan tradisional yang lebih lengkap. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen minyak goreng yang ada di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan jumlah sampel 100 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan model sikap, model norma subjektif dan Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukan sikap konsumen positif terhadap minyak goreng curah dan kemasan. Secara keseluruhan sikap konsumen cukup baik terhadap atribut minyak goreng curah dan sikap baik terhadap atribut minyak goreng kemasan. Atribut utama yang menentukan sikap konsumen terhadap minyak goreng curah adalah harga yang murah, sedangkan pada minyak goreng kemasan adalah higienis. Perilaku konsumen terhadap pembelian minyak goreng curah dan kemasan adalah 1.248,76 dan 2.060,77, artinya perilaku konsumen terhadap minyak goreng kemasan lebih baik dibandingkan minyak goreng curah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of market strategy on marketing performance in smallholder rubber in Kuantan Tengah District, Kuntang Singingi Regency, Riau. These market strategies include market shaping strategies, customer engagement strategies, and technology leadership strategies. The population in this study found 225 people from 1 Gapoktan and 9 farmer groups in Kuantan Tengah District. The research sample was 15% of the population, namely 34 people who were selected by random sampling method. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression models. The results of the analysis show that the respondent's level of achievement reaches 80,82% for market strategy and 74,22% for marketing performance, both of which are in the good level category. The value of sig.t for X1 is 0.861, the value of sig.t for X2 is 0,342, the value of sig.t for X3 is 0,585 is greater than the significance level (α), then the formation of market strategy, customer involvement, and technology leadership partially have no significant effect. significant to marketing performance. The sig.F value of 0,728 is higher than the significance level (α), so the formation of market strategy, customer involvement, and technology leadership simultaneously do not have a significant effect on marketing performance.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan disain strategi pengembangan agroindustri gula kelapa di Kecamatan Tempuling Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei yang dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Tempuling Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir yang merupakan sentra produksi kelapa di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir dan merupakan daerah yang memiliki agroindustri gula kelapa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi pengembangan agroindustri gula kelapa adalah meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman, meningkatkan kualitas proses pengolahan sesuai permintaan konsumen, meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk, mempertahankan pasar yang ada serta mencari alternatif pasar melalui diversifikasi produk dan membentuk kelompok pengrajin gula kelapa.

Abstract

Rokan Hulu Regency is famous for its religious tourism with the construction of Madani Islamic Center Mosque which is visited by thousands of visitors from different regions every week. To support the characteristic of this religious tourism area, it was planned to cultivate the date palms which was inspired by the Holy Qur'an to increase the income and welfare of the community of Babussalam Village. In relation to the introduction of relatively new date fruit cultivation in Indonesia, socialization and counseling on the potential of date palms and village rules concepts in line with green constitution were necessary. This counseling aimed to provide guidance to the community of Babussalam Village Rokan Hulu District Rokan Hulu as a village that has a program of cultivation of date palms through village regulations and to improve the living standards of villagers in Babussalam as well as a pilot village of dates cultivation. Based on the five indicators (increase of participant's knowledge, the activity of the participants, the suitability of the training materials to the needs of the participants, the impact of future activity implementation and the participation rate based on the number of participants), the activity is considered successful and can improve knowledge, motivation and  of community and the apparatus of Babussalam village in implementing date palm cultivation as a trade mark for Rokan Hulu Regency as a religious tourism destination in the future.

Abstract

Marketing system of these rubber commodities in the district mines has not been well-organized, because it was still through an intermediary institution.The purpose of this research is to formulate a marketing strategy for the marketing of rubber can be more efficient. Analysis of the data for this research uses a descriptive qualitative analysis and stage strategies, which are matrix IFE, EFE and SWOT matrix. The data retrieval process is done with observation and interviews. The results showed that there were from the results of IFE matrix and EFE obtained score of 2.425and3.257. The recommendations for the formulation of the rubber marketing strategy obtained from the results of the SWOT analysis are (i) The government has established a bokar marketing institution that has a role in facilitating the quality of bokar reservoirs and facilitates the marketing of bokar to factories in accordance with factory demand. (ii) Strengthening capital for marketing activities of farmer groups through collaboration between farmer groups and BUMDes. (iii) Collaboration between rubber farmers or farmer groups by forming bokar storage centers or warehouses aimed at storing. (iv) Facilitation of partnership patterns between factories and rubber farmers through farmer groups by the Government.Keywords: Bokar, Bokar MarketingStrategy

Abstract

Integrated agriculture or integrated agriculture are agricultural activities undertaken by involving or integrating agriculture in a broad sense. Cattle and Palm Oil Integration System (SISKA) is a combination of palm oil plantation management with cattle where palm oil bark is used as animal feed while livestock manure is used as a source of organic fertilizer and biogas. which aims to improveefficiency and productivity of agricultural land.so as to increase the greater revenue. This research is conducted in Kecamatan Kerumutan Pelalawan Regency which aims to know the perception of farmers on the role of the guarantor institution and the risk bearer in supporting the SISKA program. the study was conducted from June to November 2017 using survey method and census sampling technique to 5 groups of farmers applying SISKA with total of 62 farmers. Data analysis using Likert's scale. the result of the research shows that the perception of farmers on the role of the guarantor institution and the overall risk bearers is 1.98 that is in the less important category.Keywords: institution, risk, role, perception, system integration

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat terkait kurangnya konsumsi protein adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang sumber protein nabati yang harganya lebih terjangkau. Selain itu diperlukan ketrampilan dalam pengolahan makanan nabati ini agar penampakannya lebih menarik untuk keluarga dan sebagai peluang usaha. Pelatihan ini ditujukan untuk: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan umum masyarakat termasuk ibu rumah tangga terkait kecukupan gizi keluarga khususnya protein nabati dan (2) meningkatkan ketrampilan pengolahan produk sosis tiruan dari bahan baku tempe dan jamur merang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kegiatan pelatihan yang mencakup penyuluhan tentang jenis dan potensi protein nabati termasuk tempe kedelai dan jamur merang serta pelatihan pembuatan sosis analog (tiruan) dengan bahan baku tempe dan jamur merang. Berdasarkan lima indikator (peningkatan pengetahuan, keaktifan, kesesuaian materi pelatihan dengan kebutuhan peserta, adanya inisiasi untuk memulai usaha dan jumlah peserta), kegiatan ini dinilai berhasil dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan konsumsi protein nabati yang lebih terjangkau masyarakat dalam menunjang ketahanan pangan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDengan makin populernya nata de coco, perusahaan skala menengah dan kecil di Bogor mulaimemasuki pasar. Ini menyebabkan persaingan pasar meningkat dan sebagai salah satu produsennata de coco, CV Citra Pangan Mandiri harus memahami perilaku konsumennya. Sebagai produkpangan, nata de coco adalah consumer driven industry, dimana keberhasilan pemasarannyatergantung pada penerimaan konsumen. Penelitian sebelumnya menyatakan bahwa perusahaanperlu lebih memperhatikan preferensi konsumennya. Analisis preferensi konsumen menunjukkanbahwa segmen masyarakat menengah bawah merupakan segmen yang sesuai bagi perusahaan.Untuk membedakan produknya dari pesaing, perusahaan perlu menyusun positioning sebagai“nata de coco berkualitas dengan harga bersaing” melalui strategi bauran pemasaran yangkonsisten. Di masa mendatang, terbuka peluang untuk mengembangkan pemasaran ke segmenkelas atas karena preferensi konsumen kelas atas juga bernilai positif (favorable).
